Nice topic here , am not one to encourage violence of anykind but when i see the way kids behave in london.or anytime i watch the program super nanny.i see the need for a bit of the rod, while growing up my mum was the harsh 1 my dad belived in talking sense into a child though i am closer to my dad now cos of that, u know wat kept me good those days, was not even the rod.it was the tot of em.cos my mom use to buy em from some darm mallams and never failed to remind us they were handy.then u know those killer looks when u misbehaving in presence of visitors and in public that say more than words.believe me i truned out good.respect elders,no stealing,no talkin back at elders.u know the works, belive the rod helps sometimes.

hey guys a friend of mine is about to go for her youth service tomorrow and she has being complaing non stop about how unnecessary it is.and it got me thinking i was that way when i was about to serve.but after completing the whole thing i realise it was a worth wile experience .i serves in ogun state,i enjoyed the early morning activites,the games mostly (the last time i did that was in primary school or PE classes )was a quater gaurd,was in the OBS.made loads of friends.had life defining experience etc most expecially i see NYSC as a training school for graduates that prepares ur for the life ahead of us,

nice thrend here, this topic i like, for those of you who say love first.get real, its too much mills and booms talkin.if u know wat i mean.someone once sang "we in a money world", and for the realist like me thank you, though its true money cant buy love.lack of it will kill love.4 me money its important cos i call it insurance in a relationship.cos when i date a guy with money and things break up i always ve fond memorie.expensives gifts,romantic dinners,shopping etc, i think i will be more heartbroken if it was a broke ass relationship.PLUS ve seen cases of girls who stuck with broke guys but when the greens(money)started comin the guys changed.

the heartbreak i got over the fastest was

step 1.i told him things were not going well.that we should call it quits.got out of his car.walked home, reason.i broke up with him first.cos i found out he was cheating on me with a pal.

step 2:i took valium not to die oh(neva).to sleep.woke up ,took another.did this 4 2 days.

step 3:acknowledge that it hurt,really hurt.listened to some old love songs(new once are crap)ie winner takes it all by alba,jollen by dolly parton,must ve being love,same scene different cast by withney houston etc.

step 4:deleted his number,tore all his pic,wrote a letter to my self.saying why am better of with out him

step 5:had loads of ice cream,red wine .ran the whole thing in my mind.wat went wrong and all so as not to make the same mistake twice.greatest lesson learnt friends and boyfriend dont mix.belive me they dont

step 6:had a make over.went shoping and pampered myself.u know the works,new undies,manicure,etc

step 7:called up an old admirer,dressed to kill ,went to the movies,hads loads to drink,flirted alot.

result :was as good as new. started dating the old admirer,had the ex begging and sending his friends and family to beg,

Realisation :he was never worth it .he didnt deserve me

Advice to girls.always acknowledge the hurt its ok to cry and pls ladies please dont sell your self short.
