My names are Mark Adam. I hail from Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue-State. After my dubious act of making money to startup my Business, I came to Makurdi to settle and open my business before God spoke to me and the whole money both good and bad was given to God! Long after, I prayed and a thought of going to see the Governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Hon. Gabriel Suswam if he could support me financially, came to my mind and I concluded. As usual, I wrote my business proposal and I went. Reaching the gate, I was stop by a security officer after some interogation, he order me to other. When I went there, after some question and answer. One other officer from no where came without disipline and ask: who are you? I told him, what do you want? I said, I want to see my Governor. This officer laughed uncontrolably and other joined him and I stood pitifully thinking if it will be possible, let the ground swallow me. But later, I encourage myself with a word. What do you want to see him for? Look at you! Hungry people and all manner of insult. And he collected my Proposal and other one said, should we open it? Shamefully I said ok! So they read it and saw what I have written and look at me in amazement. They were all astounded. So they told to go and put in order- to make it clean and come back for they are going to submit it. When I turned my back, I heard them saying ' I have never seen such a thing, for this boy to come with this plan, he must have gone to different places'. I left and went to the church with a heavy heart and thank my God and also said never to return again.
Dear Reader. Is seeing a Governor a Crime? People of Benue in Nairaland if you don't believe you can go and ask about me. I started fasting and praying for ten days which I finished September 19- 2013. Dear Readers something happened on that day; a man walked up to me at the Alter as I was praying and called my attention and I was moved with pity of how he looked and he asked me saying ' sir are you the pastor of this Church,' I said no and he procceed ' but why are you praying this way?' I laugh and he asked for my Pastor's number and he called him. As he looked, I mounted the Alter back. When I was through, the man called and said ' you said you re not a pastor, what must have happened to you to pray this way! Tell me'. I over look at it and I smile and the man persuaded me and I told him, sir this is what brings me here my Business need capital and instantly, the man counsel me and told me his story and how he was also helped and he said ' well I have #1.5million to support you'. Dear Reader, I instantly concluded in my heart that he is God sent, an Angel. So happy and the man met my pastor they prayed together and we discuss the issue together and left. Calling follow until two weeks interval he asked for my Account number which I did happily. But Dear Reader, he no longer call again rather referring me to bank. So Dear businessmen be couragious!
