[/b]A COURTESY VISIT TO HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS-Oba Oluwatoyin Ayinde.[b][[/b][b] The Divine Intervention Impact Foundation is a non- profit organisation that gives support to widows, less priviledge, aged and skill empowerment. On Thursday 5th November 2021, the Foundation (DIIF) during its Support a Child in School Project, deem it fit to reach out to the less privilege pupils at Ogona Community, Igbesa, Ogun State. The project was lunch at the royal palace of his Royal Majesty Oba Abdulazees Oluwatoyin Ayinde. Concurrently, the project also afford the Foundation to welcome his royal highness to his new throne. While at the event, his Royal Highness had oberved with dismay why some school pupils are on old uniforms and requested for the cost of uniforms for pupils who are yet to get a new uniform to be submitted to him for implementation. At the end of the exercise, the Foundation donated writing materials to pupils and had photograph sessions with the king. The Foundation (DIIF) President, Mrs. Oluwafunmilayo Okene extend appreciation to his Royal Majesty who had shared vision in supporting the less privileged children in Ogona Community.

[/b][b]I Love Chapel Hymns, Says Crawford Varsity Overall Best Student. By John Ogunjobi As Crawford Celebrate her 13th Convocation Ceremony on Wednesday 3rd, 2021 in the University Multipurpose Hall, Miss Fajulugbe Kehinde Bolanle who emerge as the overall best graduating student with a 4.90 CGPA has attributed her success to God who made it possible despite all odds. Miss Fajulugbe who revealed during a brief interaction with journalist says; I can only say God is the secret for achieving this feat because I barely read. Fajulugbe has recounted how she was introduced to Crawford University after several attempt to gain admission into the university of Ilorin which proved futile. " After I finished my high school at the Federal College Ijanikin, Lagos, I tried several attempt to gain admission into University of Ilorin before I was introduced to Crawford University. The 20 years old Fajulugbe narrated how challenging reading with understanding can be stressful during her undergraduate days but deem it fit to extend appreciations to her Lecturers for their availability after the normal class lectures for further clarity. Asking about her social activities; She says " I love watching movies, also, I enjoy eating beans as my favourite meal while I turn down intimate relationship from opposite sex to focus on my studies. The graduate of accounting has also set a timeline goal for herself in the pursuit of other advance learning in years to come. " Presently, I'm undergoing my ICAN study and more professional programs I plan to do in few years by God's grace. In the highlight, Miss Fajulugbe noted that her love for God grew more as she joined the Apostolic Faith Campus Fellowship (AFCF). "Though I'm a Christian but I found the family of God joining the Apostolic Faith Campus Fellowship (AFCF) after my admission into the University and I love the Chapel Hymns.

By John Ogunjobi Just like other few world class degree awarding Institutions, Crawford University is no doubt one of Nigeria's pride in the continent of Africa for any prospective high school leaver around the world to look forward too for a higher degree studies. The University is a private institution with sound Godly morals, an arm of the Apostolic Faith Mission, was established in 2005 in the gateway state, Ogun state. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Reuben Jiya Kolo stated during the 13th Convocation also titled Unicorn13 that the University now have a new Bord of Trustees (BoT) and Governing Council. " Only this last September, the Bord of Trustees and the Governing Council of the University were reconstituted and inaugurated to renew its vigour and effectiveness in the pursuits of the University's aspirations in the bold bid to remain globally competitive. Prof. Kolo, while appreciating the meritorious contributions of the founding leaders and notable Personalities of the university, worthy of mention is Distinguished Professor Peter Akinsola Okebukola, OFR who completed his term as Chairman, Crawford University Board of Trustees last August. for his key roles in the existence of the university. Also, speaking at the event is the guest speaker, Prof. Ayodele Atsenuwa, deputy Vice Chancellor, development services, University of Lagos (UNILAG). Prof. Atsenuwa who engaged the graduands with the theme; Youth Innovation and Empowerment- Drivers for Transformational Change and Sustainable Development.. " In her remark, Prof. Atsenuwa charged the graduands to explore the positive use of ICT and innovation as the 21st century Learner is differently wired. "The 21st century learner is differently wired and if not naturally so wired must be so socially engineered if he or she is to be relevant and optimally productive in the 21st century. In the highlight of the Convocation Ceremony was the Awards and Prizes as Miss Fajulugbe, Kehinde Bolanle emerge as the Overall Best Graduating Student with a 4.90 (CGPA) Cumulative Grade Point Accumulative in Accounting Department. While 25 bag first class, 141 bag second Class Upper Division, and 127 made second Class Lower Division. It was all joy and excitement as the Apostolic Faith Church Choir and Orchestra grace the occasion with a world class, spirit filled, and beautiful renditions.
