As much as i respect Sanusi's activities during his days as CBN governor (he did a fantastic job) i do not support a some of his views which are usually aloof and arrogant. He probably didn't know that he was gonna be part of the so called 'Hausa bourgeoisie'then. Well now he is kind and is part of his so called Nigerian Problem (from his 1999 view).
I know that in all regions of Nigeria we have both those with wicked, selfish and self-centred minds and those with brilliant, selfless, human and creative minds. No tribe, race or religion is perfect. We all have our flaws. So if you cast aspersions over a tribe just because you STUPIDLY think you know every single one from that tribe, then you are the biggest FOOL on earth and you ain't seen noffing yet.
All this yabbis and rubbishing should be used against those in Leadership who have and still are taking us for granted and laughing at our obvious foolery because these are the people who sow this seed of discord along tribal, ethnic and religious divide. We aill never grow if we keep pointing fingers. Live and let live.

To end this nonsensical argument just check out the founder of this platform you all are yapping on.........Seun Osewa, a yoruba!

"SO IF YOU ARE NOT YORUBA!" shocked.......isn't that just plain stupid! .....Well, that's what we all are doing. grin tongue
Religion / Re: Why Do Yoruba Movies Promote Babalawos? by medolala: 10:34am On May 20, 2010
@IDINRETE u are totally ma Guy, keep the culture going wink

@TUDOR u are the BOMB !! totally unrelenting in your cause. i am with u 360 degrees

@ Bee444, u are a total bombastic animal! living the foools life without any recourse to intelligent thinking and african nationalism! how can u wake every morning and call yourself a human being talk less and of being African!!

A white man, yellow baby and an Arab tells you that u r black & all evil is black and yet your "black" brain is not taken aback!! but rather your brain remains bleak, like that of a goat!!,

I wonder what you'll do when you see a human being of green colour , >>>> of course u'll call it an alien (cuz d white man says so) & then u'll call it a demon (cuz d white man says so), forgeting that the white man called you evil cuz ur skin is black (& though the slave trade has stopped, they stilll call all evil stuff back) and flogged you till you accepted the name TOBI (Kuntakinte)

Ogun bite that tongue u have used to call out and use such beastly language as: black magic, black power, black voodoo.
look at youir skin men, u r as black as they can get!
So wake up and promote ur culture. never forget ur past cz without it ur future will never be. never forget ur heritage cz they made you and made those Bee4444 u.

the babalawos have an equal right with them Pastors and Imams.

Besides, they all do things in common: PRAYERS & CURSES

@ metal-gong
hank you for acknowledging at least one good thing about the Igbos;unfortunately, the world is still waiting to see the usefulness of you lazy and parasitic yorubas to the cesspit called Nigeria.

You even wrote about political leaders, I guess Tinubu, segun Oni, Alao Akala,Awolowo, Obasanjo et cetera are the much touted political leaders of Yoruba extraction. A society where these criminals and wimps are the only leaders they can boast of, goes a long way to show how bereft of leaders you Yoruba men are. However, I must admit that your political leaders are really good in thuggery and assasinations .

First i'll like to apologise to all my Igbo brothers. this might sound insulting but it is only meant for metal-gong and his likes who don't know anything except how to yapp there mouth at others.

i know a lot of cool igbo dudes and don't have a thing against Ikemba or Bianca. As far as am concerned however there life is, is really non of my biz. Ikemba did what he had to at that period. It cost the igbo populace dearly but no war is without reason,

But, It is obvious that you are one of those arrogant and uneducated Igbo loud mouths that has been oppotuned to have the inclination of what the internet is (won't be surprised if you are one of those businessman dropouts, online scammers, or local 419).

You guys are so easy to notice. its like a sign post on your forehead that reads " look at me, am a loudmouth"

always ego tripping (and falling by the road side)

you people flock into Lagos like sheep without a herdsman and destroy everything that gets in contact with you. you are involved in all sorts of illicit businesses & call yourselves businessmen, *humm! -   a lame excuse for an entrepreneur.

for your info; Yorubas are enterprising and so are some Igbos and hausas!
So stop acting like a jerk and speak maturely next time you have something to say.   wink
Politics / Re: Christian Leaders Brief Jonathan On Yar’adua Visit by medolala: 5:20pm On Apr 15, 2010
Fant:

All of you who are critisising the clerics and Bishop Oyedepo in particular, i have this for you, IF YOUR FATHER WAS NOT A FAILURE IN LIFE, PERHAPS HE WOULD HAVE HAD THE SAME OPPORTUNITY AS THESE CLERICS TO VISIT THE PRESIDENTIAL VILLA SO THAT WE CAN SEE HOW HE BEHAVES HIMSELF ON PUBLIC MATTERS.

Chei!! your FATHER 100 times!!

Except your father is one of those clerics, then it goes to show you are truely a fanatic & a good extremist for that matter!

how can you make such a ridiculous statement!! is my/our father(s) your mate? ehn? tell me?

I am sorry to say this but : i think YOUR FATHER IS A FAILURE and he disowned you, while Oyedepo adopted you abi?

Idiot! public matters indeed! till dem sell you sell your soul join. (hissssss)
Politics / Re: Christian Leaders Brief Jonathan On Yar’adua Visit by medolala: 4:49pm On Apr 15, 2010
It is obvious that a lot of we Nigerians have our mind arrested by RELIGION!! to thinks some people will actually be able to see yaradua and come out mum!! Are they all MAD!!

This is a matter of National concern and every one is keeping quiet over yaraduas health and even our so called Muslim & Christian leaders!

Where they bribed, drugged or just high on cheap drugs?!!

And to make matters worse, you all are yapping away and say incoherent things (like say una no no wetin the discussion dey all about), while you should all hit the nail on the head, (hisssssssss). you all make me sick!

If it were a-nobody or an Obasanjo (even a wole soyinka) that went in to see yaradua and comes out without divulging all the details, it still this same u people (us)- bunch of hypocrites & sycophants- that will shout blue murder and crucify them!!

shame on you all. Just because they are called religious leaders don't make them invincible. they ain't GOd & they don't deserve to be left clean like -" its not thier fault". so its whose fault.?

Why can't they talk? the Onus is on everyone of them to tell us what transpired in there. it is our right to know & not any clerics right to withhold such information.

People of true colours like Fela, Pastor Bakare, Gani and a host of them won't compromise. they know what is at stake!

But people like you all ( shame on you) YOU'D RATHER STAND BY AND LET YOUR COUNTRY ROT RATHER THAN SPEAK AGAINST ONE HOLY MALLAM/PASTOR.
Politics / Re: Nigeria - Borno Debates Law 'to Stop Islamic Extremism' by medolala: 4:13pm On Apr 15, 2010
i really think when it comes to religion we should judge from a human beings point of view & not let our individual beliefs cloud our minds. be u an Orisa person or an aethist, a muslim, hindu or a christian, borrow a leaf from mahatma gandhi and see all as one - but each, a bit hard wired to a belief.

let patience and understanding prevail over us all.
