Career / Government Should Refund The School Fees Of Unemployed Graduates by meekm: 7:05am On Mar 16, 2009 |
I have gone through the length and breadth of Nairaland, similar Nigerian sites and newspapers and discovered a common thread: No jobs for graduates after graduation for upwards of 10 years! . This is very disturbing. For a graduate to come out of school means the parents or guardians or even the graduate must have spent over N2million. For these graduates to come outĀ without finding any jobs means a huge waste of resources of the parents, guardians or individuals. The money spent could set up many lucrative businesses for those concerned because education has been "wasted" on them. I hereby suggest that the Government refund unemployed graduates their full tuition fees from year 1 to Final year or what do you think? |

Politics / Re: UK Denies Ribadu Asylum by meekm: 2:42pm On Dec 17, 2008 |
It's only people who did not follow the "reign" of the slim mallam that are calling him a saint. I liked his job when he first started but before one could say Nuhu, he deviated and started being selective in prosecution, arrogant, silly, stubborn and power drunk. He went as far as using a bulldozer to pull down the gates of Chief Adenuga of Globacom who has employed millions of Nigerians just because he was anti-third term. Please Nigerians, allow justice to take its full course. If the courts clear him of every wrong doing, let him be free otherwise, let him 'smell the rod' like anyone else who commits an offence. The man is laying a bad precedent by insurbodinating the police force. Can you imagine an 'ordinary' Nigerian refusing to 'move' when a 'kill and go' (Mobile policemen) orders him to move? He may be shot or beaten to a pulp. Here is RIBIDU disobeying constituted authorities with reckless abandon!! Is he not a Nigerian like every one of us? Give me a break! |

Report to the police or go to their office and collect your money if you are sure of what you are saying. Coming to the web to condemn a company "just like that" is bad. Have police investigate them since they are there in their office. You people should not turn this forum to a place to launch assaults without law enforcement investigations or would you like it if this forum is sued in the law court? Before paying money to a company, always do your due diligence (not after paying). God bless you all. |
