Sir, don't trust me but believe me there is nothing to fear about. The major issue behind this is the fall in crude oil and it is just a temporary issue. Nothing, I said nothing to fear about. Just be buying a good fundamentals stock in tranches if the means is there. Sir, once again, there is nothing to fear about. When election is over, I will like to see another gospel of fear that will be disseminated....
Well,my top stock picks are........
MULTIVERSE IKEJA HOTELS UBA OANDO TRANSCORP FBNH DANGSUGAR FIDSON FLOURMILL
As an insider,I cannot say everything I know but you can never go wrong sir.

Well noted. Fundamentally, there is no justification for market crash at this time. Majority of this stocks are trading below their pe ratio compare to 2007/2008 saga. Sir, it is very complex to explain the situations of things in this period where everyone is experiencing some losses but one thing i know for sure is that "I DON'T HAVE ANY REASON TO FEAR". Thank you once again. Bros, you mean nothing is wrong fundamentally for an import dependent economy like ours? Haba!!!! What percentage does oil contribute to our GDP? 95% of our foreign exchange earnings come from this same oil that is seriously heading southwards, we are not even half as industrialized as Russia who are considering selling down their gold reserves while making the Ruble to freely float due to serious depletion of their foreign reserves. We need dollars to buy virtually everything....do you know the rate as at today? No FPI wants to be caught in the market now cos of the depreciation. What do you think will happen to the books of banks that raised bonds in foreign currency? I understand you want to stand against fear but don't give people who are not informed false hope please. 4 Likes |

Aks: U are a bad guy, u've been trailing me since the days of Oando, dehin leyin mi now ![grin](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/grin.png) It's painful but i have to exit my 400K+ unit position @ N4.40/4.58 (32% Loss), my liver cut and i had to do the needful. My portfolio is empty, hope to catch up with NSE later when the dust is settled Bros, no harm meant o! You did well. I'm not scared to admit when I make a mistake. I don't HOPE in this market o! 2 days ago, I bought FBNH and after seeing the market movement in the last 2 days, I took off at a loss. I live to fight another day. Make another person hold the can for me. As I'm typing, no more bid for FBNH, the 4m units bid at 9.96 has been sold. I'll hold my cash now and watch the drama. But then, most of my picks are if dem no shit, dem must vomit. 1 Like |

Agbalowomeri:
Ha bros, na only transcorp dey ur portfolio? what if u had exited at the trough (base) of the bear? My critic of ur action is that u did not have a plan and u just succumbed to your emotions, otherwise you would have exited long before loosing > 10% if that was your plan. My loss (since the bear starts) is still around 10% and even if I loose 30% I am not shaken because I know the quality of the stock I hold, and most importantly the cash is not needed till eternity coldFLARES1: My brother, I haven't seen a dose of sarcasm in the advise given. Here, a Chibuking made all the noise of an impending downturn while our Ikoyi prophet assured us of a sustained bullish run! We now know better. Truth is you've recorded huge loses that may take a long time to recover in view of recent performances of your invested company. It's your call to make: sell and cut your losses or hold on. However, it bears restating that HOPE is not an investment strategy! I may appear prejudiced, buh I painfully had to exit my positions when I lost 50% in 3 weeks. Oga Agbalowomeri, he said he was assured by the ikoyi prophet. I guess he threw caution to the winds and jumped in big..... I think there should be a plan and don't swallow everything here or SMN hook, line and sinker. Understanding how this whole thing works is a very vital key. 1 Like |
