Politics / Re: When Will Insults/tribalism End In Nairaland by mustafar1: 5:30pm On Jul 25, 2009
insults would end when people decide to communicate without the use of insults. as per tribalism, it would end when we stop referring to people as alimajiri, omo ibo, Yoruba Yoruba, omo nna, etc etc. and assuming every female with big behind must be yoruba and every male dat is black must be hausa, that anyone who chews kolanut must be . . . .

because someones view nagates yours you decide to teach the person a leson by throwing insults

Fhemmmy:

I will like a situation where the FG will have a check and balance attitude, show us what u have done with allocations.
Justify your allocations and not just keep giving money and tell me they used them to salaries

nothing wrong in spending ur allocation on salary. cos if u know u spend ur allocation on salary then thats where plan B becomes plan A.
Politics / Re: Alao Akala Awards N25m For 5 Public Toilets. by mustafar1: 7:04pm On Jul 16, 2009
no worry jare bros femi(i hope thats ur real name) i feel ur pain. it becomes worse when awon boiz defend this bullmanure with their verbal HIV. i refuse to be infected so i wear protection when i listen grin hope u do too?

because akala meet empty treasury, that means to say all the money wey FG don allocate to him state after that must not be spent wisely. when would we stop using this "the amount of money he met in the state coffers . . ." baldadash to defend all their inactivity. b4 u get into office/contest for office u must have figured out how u intend to fund the projects/development which u propose u would embark upon when u get elected.

ki ni omo kekere mi mo. second base jare. . . .

hope u didnt take my comment as me being in support of Akala. shocked cos if u did, i go vex no be small. grin
Politics / Re: Alao Akala Awards N25m For 5 Public Toilets. by mustafar1: 6:43pm On Jul 16, 2009

its good MEND and other saboteurs should expose the weaknesses in the system and what needs to be worked on.

Unfortunately, everything comes at a cost.

deb:

United States may be sweeping theirs under the carpet and dealing with t privately, but the fact remains that they are corrupt too.
Therefore, let them not open their rubbish mouth to talk about how bad others are and how holy they are .
Its a simple fact. Obama should shut up!

How many of you have watched the film 24, all the 7seasons? That is how they do their corruption and deal with it privately, not like
Nigeria where we are the first to tell the world our own wrong and later we start spitting fire that we are not being treated well
outside of the country.

Any more facts that you want??

shocked shocked shocked how dare somebody include my best fiction of a show, 24 as a backup to support a point in an argument?
Politics / Re: Why Didn't Obama Apologise To Africa? by mustafar1: 9:38pm On Jul 13, 2009
apology here, apology there, apology everywhere. . . it does take away the fact that when fertilizer is made available to our farmers for free, some idiot assumes the role of lord and decides to hoard it instead, leading to low quality yield. yet we want apology from someone who subsidized his own farmers to help to make their produce competitive.

Politics / Re: Nigerians Are The Most Racist People In The World! by mustafar1: 5:29pm On Jun 22, 2009
im so not shocked at what was written on that blog. nigerians discriminate against people from a different dialect as theirs, discriminate against their own half sisters or brothers just because they are that, nigerians discriminate against people who are light skinned/dark skinned depending on where they are, not to talk of a 'common foreigner'

Politics / Re: The Proposed Harvard Training For Governors by mustafar1: 7:26pm On Jun 13, 2009
Do you hire primary school students for Commercial pilot positions, paying them Commercial pilot level salaries, only so you can spend more money and time training them to become actual Commercial pilots? Why not just hire already trained and experienced commercial pilots ready to start flying from day one?

KOBOJUNKIE, yes you can. heck they've been doing so for ages. what would you call all the paper planes made and flown in KG. if thats not flying a plane i wonder wat else is not. no vex me o. grin
Politics / Re: The Proposed Harvard Training For Governors by mustafar1: 6:14pm On Jun 13, 2009
Kobojunkie:

Imagine adding that nonsense to the stack of problems we already have. We will have more thieves killing and rigging their way into office so they can get free education at the expense of the people.

you know what, honestly speaking if it is guaranteed to hlp solve the problem why not. if it is guaranteed that they would actually learn and use what was learned. then i might even ask to be their cheerleader for free. but its not a guarantee. even if it was, the long term cost is/effect is what we should look at. if the PORK BARREL actually does work, are we going to add sINNERators and representaTHIEVES as well. what about councellor(s) balogun, LGA custodians, house of assembly members, commisioners, ministers, i could keep listing.
Politics / Re: The Proposed Harvard Training For Governors by mustafar1: 5:46pm On Jun 13, 2009
ok lets just assume our governors need this PORK BARREL. how long would the study away from the job be for? what hapens to our states while they are at it.(maibe we'll just keep accepting out monthly allocation and stacking it away in the states treasury so when our governors are done in 6-12months. they'll then perform their newly acquired magic. and after they finish their tenure, whether 4 or 8 yrs. we'll send the next batch of governors to harvard as well.
Politics / Re: Is Nigeria Really The Gaint Of Africa? by mustafar1: 7:39pm On Jun 12, 2009

Of course we are the giants of Africa - our problems are the gigantic versions of the ones affecting most African countries. grin grin grin

per the above we suppose pass giant sef. giant would mean there is a discount.

I am sort of surprised that the responses. What is so wrong about this. They have tried a lot of things but always fell flat on their faces. Is this just a case of not expecting much from a place like Nigeria or simply that we should stick with what we are doing and keep fasting and praying for things to change.

if they need some harvard tutoring to know how to be transparent and accountable to their people then mo sorry gan o. we might as well buy each one of them baskets and have then fill it with water.
Politics / Re: June12: Ever Free And Fair Election In Nigeriatom by mustafar1: 7:51pm On Jun 11, 2009
how dare you feful talk bad of mko? grin we must all forget about his misdeeds to nigeria before june 12 1993.

what i have always wondered is this. if he hadnt died from 'tea drinking' would he have expected to still be crowned?

Well they do have alot of power you know, Not directly but she can only do so when the husband approves which i believe is discussed prior to the tour,

what power? who gave her the power? how did she get the power? what size is the power?
Politics / Re: Prof. Dora Akunyili Grilled At Chicago Airport by mustafar1: 7:18pm On Jun 11, 2009
Phemytrend:

She was subjected to a thorough searching by the airport authority, so was worried why Nigerian could search more than every other countries in the world

what "thorough search"? thorough search could be walking through an xray scanner that sees through every piece of clothing u have on and reveals if u have hidden under and a thorough search could be being asked if u have food stuff or any meat(chicken or beef or pork) in ur luggage and them checking ur bag cos the sniffer dog kept circling ur luggage. so saying thorough search alone doesnt make it thorough.

LWKM! its not that serious. i av a right to comment on her dont I? anywho she'll be fine. better effort next time out.
Celebrities / Re: ~Dakore Egbuson's New Music Video~ by mustafar1: 6:59pm On Jun 09, 2009
and. . .

that still doesnt take away from the fact that theres only one line in the song that stands out and it gets repeated after like every five words. as per you throwing her talk show out. it just goes to support my point. she should stick to trying to act.
Music/Radio / Re: When Will Nigerian Artistes Improve Their Stage Performances? by mustafar1: 6:00pm On Jun 09, 2009
