I would like to hear the man's side of the story! To give a fair balanced and impartial judgement, until then, I don't really believe he beats u up just because he likes beating u up, Remember Emotional abuse among men is real,
Women emotionally abuse their husbands too, so don't come here playing victim!
Emotional abuse=Physical violence,
Thank you....If you know the number of men suffering from verbal and physical abuse from their wives....Fear women who are not God fearing, they will play the victims card when the men decides to react...Am talking from lots of experience

Politics / Re: Nigeria Is Stuck In A Rut, Yet Its Citizens Rule The World. Why? by mygem: 11:45am On Mar 04, 2021
while your points are salient,I think it goes beyond smartness...You don't draw a plan with the next man that can easily be bought over with money.. Nigerian can switch lane if the price is right, not minding the positives of your plans...So I am an advocate of value system...I lecture people everywhere i find myself that corruption is not Nigerias problem but our value system. When we get it right then the country will be ok...just start from your kids...quote author=Queenlovely post=99596461]The curse of knowledge

Nigerians are not smart, Smart people can always find a way out of any dilemma. It's like chess.

Nigerians are just book smart but not street smart. They still cling to conservative ways to solving problem.

To boot out politicians from office, you have to use unconventional means, don't follow the crowd. independent thought is what Nigerians don't have.

French, American, Europe, Russian, China etc are enjoying progress today because their ancestors made sacrifice for their children to enjoy tommorow.

Running to foreign land is not smartness but personal gain to earn income. Forget it these people are not smart.

Ask any Nigerian that graduated from Harvard how to save Nigeria. They will give you the old answers we already know. Answers that lead to nowhere. and a lot of complaining will follow.

One more thing is judge a man by what he does and not what he says he will do. Action is louder than voice. knowing and doing are not the same thing. if you know you must apply.

The solution to our problem must not necessarily start from the top, let us start from the bottom. one Community at a time. don't overlook Community. Facebook, Microsoft, PayPal,etc did not just start out as great,

Facebook started from Harvard classmates,if they had started with a large crowd, they would have failed, start small, one Community at a time and you will be amazed by what you can achieve.

Even if we have all these perfect men as leaders, change must also start from the grassroots, If Nigerians don't change nothing will change. China does not play with the grassroots. they don't ignore local leaders.

What we are doing is chest beating, Some people don't even know where Nigeria is on the map. we are not great, forget these propaganda, Half of Cuba citizens are doctors,

Cuba exports medical services more than any country in the world, yet they don't boast. let us just calm down and do our homework and see how things will fall into place. one step at a time
Kenai:
The difference between Jonathan and Obasanjo?

One, after serving his tenure, has simply returned to his quiet life, accepting the will of the masses and understanding that politics is not worth the blood of the masses. He may have his shortcomings (which he never denied), but he understands the reality on ground that taking cheap shots at your successor's flaws is not a sign of superiority. He has simply wished the country success and moved on with his life.

...And the other?
Despite the numerous big fraud scandals that can be traced DIRECTLY to his name (Halliburton, Siemens, missing oil vessels, Econet scam, National Library scam) this old but immature gorilla has still refused to leave the podium and act like a decent statesman. The same fool behind the blatant electoral frauds in 2003 and 2007 never missed a chance to take cheap shots at his successor like he could ever hold a candle against them.
The same creature under whose administration Sharia was legalized in a secular country, had the audacity to come in front of a camera and rip his party membership card apart, all to the morronic applause from the ever gullible simpletons known as masses.
The same "do or die" politician has refused to respect the wrinkles on his fat, ugly, saggy body and go take a rest for good.
Whispers from the grapevine even suggest he's fielding some personal candidates for appointment under the new government.
Agadi nwoke n'enweghi ihere. Shameless old man who couldn't even handle his scattered household but could draft an 18-page letter to the president, trying to sound like a saint.
Alas... He is but a hypocritical attention-seeking agbaya.
sensible and truthful.u nailed it.

Politics / Re: Detailed Account Of Dele Giwa's Death by mygem: 11:18pm On Jun 15, 2015
bushdoc9919:
The Dele Giwa case was the tragedy of our times. I recall the case faintly....even though I was very young...as another scary event in a year of violence for Nigeria.

In 1986....Nigeria lurched from crisis to crisis. Our economy was in dire straits...so much so that we had to take SAP. Lawrence Anini was terrorizing parts of the country in his Volks Santana. 19 Students were killed in ABU Zaria...sparking off a nationwide student revolt that lasted one month, and the religious fabric of the nation was under severe strain...Sharia and population figures were in the dispute(This religious fight reached its pinnacle in 1987....with the burning down of several churches in Kaduna State following an offensive anti-Islam comment made by a cleric in Kafanchan). And on top of that comes the letter bomb death of Dele Giwa...something which had never happened in Nigeria...something which you saw on videos of American films...something which happened only outside the country and was associated with oppressive governments. (in 1982..Ruth First..anti-apartheid campaigner, and wife of Joe Slovo and comrade of Nelson Mandela was killed by a letter bomb in London...sent by the BOSS...the intelligence agency of the Apartheid South African govt). I recall as a young child feeling scared and frightened one fine sunny day in June 86....and wondering...when will it all end.?

The tragedy of Dele Giwa's death was not that it happened , but that it has never been solved.Indeed...today, we have a lot of people excusing otherwise seriously corrupt activities ,and even violence...because Nigeria has not changed in any way from 1986(Well...you can make a decent phone call outside the country easily...and computers have become smaller and more ubiqutious...and there are more channels on TV...but that misses the point!). Dele Giwa's blood is still crying for vengeance....as is the blood of Fatima Mustapha and the 18 ABU students, and the many others who have died because Nigerians refuse to hold their governments accountable. Perhaps if we are to move from the ghosts of 1986...we must,as a nation get some things right. We must call every Nigerian....to account.

But,as in 1986....I doubt that is going to happen.Nigerians prefer.....to turn away and get on with our business. It did not affect us after all.
when you stand for the truth they call you are weakling in nigeria.parents eat from the largese of underage children without questioning the source..people say it will get better.my bro.u got a matured mind.this country....

A law should be passed that once A FRAUDSTER IS CAUGHT, HIS/HER PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN SHOULD EQUALLY BE ARRESTED.

MAJORITY of parents and guardians know and encourage their child/ward in this illicit business. From Festac, Ajao Estate, Ajah, Isolo, Surulere, Lugbe, Ibadan , Owerri and other regions where internet scam is the "bomb" business amongst the youths, most of the parents know and benefit from the loot.

But unfortunately, even the parents are bigger criminals.

at a very close look at the APC, I am seeing:1.
Rotimi Amaechi - 8 years speaker; 7 year,

all, Obasanjo is the navigator of the APC, a man

Who really are the hypocrits and who really try hard to follow Gods word.....Jehovah's witnesses are hated because they are different.

For what is worth, the position of the lump on the forehead in each of the two pictures are not exactly the same.

The lump on the 'life' Shekau is directly on the center of his forehead. You can actually draw a line from his nose-bridge up and bisect the lump into to equal halves. The lump on on the 'dead' Shekau tilts a little to his right. Attempt to draw a bisecting line from his nose-bridge across his forehead at best only slightly slice the lump, that is if it not a tangent.

The problem I have with most writeups is generalizing issues.all men and women likewise are not the same.I have met with very decent men and women alike.I have also related with very immoral guys and ladies who you don't dare make a housewife.
So the issue of men being hypocrites pisses me off.I have some set of long time pals who have very good marriage stories.so if your man is treating you badly don't rob it on us all.for me i am very much committed to my wife.

I believe you are the one getting sacred scriptures wrong and applying what you think. This people you baptised, how many spoke Igbo without a previous knowledge? How many spoke Ibibio? How many spoke Uwano? Or better still was there anyone who understood what they said just like people understood the Apostles when they spoke in tongues?

If you tell me that they all spoke in strange language without anyone being able to understand the language they spoke then this is what Paul has to say:

1Corinthians14:4
4 Those who speak in strange tongues help only themselves, but those who proclaim God's message help the whole church.
. You are on point there speaking in tongues is not gibberish yepapapoye that is common today its speaking in others dialect not just speaking but preaching in that dialect that u neva knew before.how many of u have done that
