true talk. i knw this guy that would call his girlfriend and tell her his cloths are dirty, he house needs to be cleaned and give her money to go to the market and cook for him. It was becoming too much so i had to call the babe and talk some sense into her head. The guy got wind of it and got really angry at me, to him, he gives her money. Thats is his responsibility and her responsibility is to cook, clean and have sex with him. They broke off and are no longer today but one thing i know is, the babe recognizes her worth. That can not be true, see the case of Benue State University, they needed money to pay their part time lecturers, where would that come from, Gbam despite the strike, they called for people to pay for the post UME examination. You can not say the UniLag VC was only being understanding, he perharps needed a new jeep and if the exams did not hold soonest, the jeep will be delayed.

Honestly, federal govt is to be blamed on this matter. The fight which ASUU is fighting for is the aggreement reached by the fed. govt with ASUU years back and it is better done now or never. Although been a student, its affecting me but for the sake of our tomorrow I support the ASUU.

This is good talk, very good talk. If we dont make the sacrifice of staying at home now for maybe 3 months, 6 months or even more, these issues will forever remain with us. The future generations will hold us accountable if after the older generation is gone and yet we dont have good teachers, educational infrasture is not in place. ASUU is fighting a just cause and student who are directly affected should support them. We need our lecture halls to be better, our lecturers well paid so they dont sleep with girls for marks or demand us to tip them before we can pass or purchase a handout and your name written on a list of automatic passers, and unless such measures are taken we can never reached there. Let Sam Egwu not use students to create pity when the Nigerian Government has refused to address the main issue.

Hey good people of NL, am i need of some advice here, since i was born, i dont remember seeing my father, i grew up with my mother. To note, father is from the South East while my mom is from t mehe North Central, however since i was born my father knew of my existence but however did not make any effort to see me. My mother tried to cajole me into agreeing to put up a meeting but even though young, i stood my ground that i wanted to be able to understand its implication before doing that. Sometimes i learnt he was dead. Am sorry bit it makes no difference to me, for me, its like hearing that someone died without knowing the cause and the name of the person. Am so indifferent. I know he has his family somewhere though i dont care. However, a few days back, i was in the bank with my grand mother when one guy approached me and inquired about my grand mother an then my mom, he somehow was and stil is the IGBO leader in the area as i later got to find out, they were discussing in low tunes cos my grand mom know better note to put such nonsence crap in my face in the bank when the bank is pissing me up. Now i suspect they want to arrange for some sort of meeting between me and his people. If they try that, am going to give them back to them. I say an ADAMANT NO to that. This is not because am crying foul for not being there, this is for the millions of other children who will be brought to this world and whose potentials will be limited because some crap of a man was not there.
