Of what benefit is it to compare lucifer to the devil? Lucifer IS the devil.

As I said, you're an emptyhead for repeatedly comparing OBJ the bad apple to ABC the bad orange.

Landis please don't tell me you will attempt to defend an article so lame and irrelevant as this  undecided

On a normal day and all things being equal i will choose niether but if it comes to a situation that you must choose one of them to be our president again who will u choose.
Again, neither.  It's not a matter of black or white.  Clearly these people (depending on who you consult) were not the right candidates, and as such I wouldn't make the mistake of choosing them AGAIN.

Nobody is trying to sanctify what abacha did but we are making comparism of the two monsters.
We all know what they did to drag us all backward but if we were to choose between them who will we choose.
Try neither.

A big monster or a small monster, both are monsters. And yes, by comparing, you are indeed attempting to ridiculously quanitify the damage done by this person of evil.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Obama Clinches Democratic Nomination by MyTempID: 9:11am On Jun 09, 2008
That. And, many of those who vote for Obama on the basis that he is black fail to realize that he is no more black than he is white.    They are plentiful on this thread. You hear them say things along the lines of, "Obama has made my dreams come true, he has shown that blacks are equals, he has sugared their tea and buttered their bread." They have allowed political racism to cloud their reasoning.  It should go without saying that they suffer from inferiority complex.
Politics / Re: Abacha Is A Saint - Babangida, Buhari, Abdulsalami. by MyTempID: 9:09am On Jun 09, 2008
Are you a sufferhead? 'Cos clearly only a fool would find solace in what a crook like IBB (and colleagues) have to say.
nuzo:

One thing i know for sure is that very little means very much for suffer-heads. grin

How does anyone even begin to sanctify what that SOB Abacha did to Nigeria and her people?
Politics / Where Will The Hike In Gas Prices Stop And What Do We Do by MyTempID: 7:41am On Jun 09, 2008
Like most people, I'm sick of spending, on average, thirty dollars on gas every three-four days.  Four-fifty per gallon - shit come on. I understand the days of one-dollar gas are come and gone.  At this rate however, we will be very lucky if gas ever dips below three dollars per gallon.
The hike not only affects the price of gas, it also makes the price of other goods increase.
It's hard to put all the blame on Bush; or to single out any one person. On second thought, maybe we should fault the war in Iraq. Since this war, gas price has more than tripled. Did the people suddenly start using more oil? Of course not. And, I absolutely do not think the suppply of oil went down. Gas consumption in the U.S. probably did go up. Who's responsible? The military. The military could be the ltitle death that has caused this mayhem.

It's time to start investing gazillions of dollars into alternative energy.

Yes, she was late, but it might be due in part to the bitterness that stems from what feels, now, like a wasted effort. It is something she should have done a little while back. At least now it appears she's interested in helping to unify the party. Who knows?
Politics / Re: Most Corrupt Politician In Nigeria by MyTempID: 3:10am On Jun 08, 2008
Don't mind him @ viv.  His generalization was both hasty and careless.  It's a perfect example of what colonial mentality has done to many Nigerians.  If ABC airs another episode of 20-20 incriminating all Nigerians as corrupt and evil, he would most likely be the first to scream "YES WE ARE"! It's more agreeable to say that many Nigerians are corrupt. Not ALL.  Big B1, how do you even expound it? Big B1, please understand the difficulty people face in finding ways to survive despite a regressive government and a totally reprehensible economy.  This is the reason some of us have chosen to suspend the country in search of a more-rewarding economy.

Always trying to score a cheap point.  Symptoms of an overgrown child.
sheniqua:

I apologise for my statement.
May the Lord console his family.

Kinda hard to retract a most foolish comment, especially while knowing you should have induced good judgement at first.

On the bright side, I suppose the apology does help. Really though, you should be apologizing to yourself for being so low.

This historic Obama win is worth celebrating. I am so glad for the breath of fresh air- at least, we can have someone whose father or wife(apologies to the Bushes and Clintons ) has not been part of the problems hereto.
I'm also glad that good planning has triumphed over big names and clout. My joy will know no bounds when the "young" Obama helps nail the coffin of the "old order" by sinking McCain.
Once again , I congratulate America!
Thanks for speaking with common sense.  The same can't be said for some of our other posters.

naijamark:

Sir, could you tell us the opinion of this "expert" of yours. And if you are that expert, lets know your opinion. This is the only time in the history of America when people have been able to see beyond color. For people like you out there with expert idea or indeed theory, we'll love to hear what it is. I have this feelings that if (and indeed he will win) Obama wins, you will simply commit suicide grin
Don't be so ridiculous.  Only stupidity will cause you to profess that Obama being black had absolutely 'NOTHING' to do with his nomination.  Tsk! Tsk! I guess the overwhelming black votes he received was just a coincidence.  In as much as it is difficult to find resources for some of the spoken words on TV (by these experts), I will provide you with links to  polls where blacks catapulted Obama to victory over Clinton.  To be candid, the better candidate won (in the eyes of many), and he was Obama and he has the delegates to back it up, there's no denying this.   Obama won. He earned and deserved it.  He is an excellent persuasive speaker. Although, in my opinion at least, he is nothing more than a glorified used car salesman.  Had both candidates ran in different years, these same pea-brained Hillary bashers would be the first to support her on the basis that she's a woman.

more, more, more more and then some more.

Now, I would love to continue digging out sources to validate this point, but instead I'll ease up and ask you ton consult google.  To say that Obama's being black has not helped him during this election is denial at its peak.

Further, before you attempt to stupefy my post keep in mind that I am not saying Obama won because he's black. All I said is, it definitely didn't hurt that he got close to 80-90 percent of the black votes.

A smart person, let alone one that's too smart, (as you call it) can always figure ways to add stuff to his or her life.
I guess you're not very smart for not realizing this.  Keep partying in your foolishness. It suits you.

I told you people his brain matter is filled with chivita juice and ogi
You'd think he'll finally get it .
And yours is filled with jargonized childish rhetoric.  Hmm, I guess you're no better.

I am obliged to point out that his winning had NOTHING to do with his being black
Dearly delusioned. You really don't know what you're talking about since this is pure trash.  I guess you think you know something the experts (who devote a large amount of their time to doing this) don't.

Sisikill:

Good Lord! How can you type this with a straight face when the first post from you on this thread was insults-riddled? By your own admission, you were lurking, waiting for the first chance to jump on the person your post directed to and then you don't stop there. . .You take it further by insulting everyone whose opinion differs from yours. If they shower themselves in insulting-lingo, then you sir soak yourself in it.
Double sigh! Another short-sighted defender of the universe.

My first post was in response to this:
Hillary is so stubborn and a freakin bitch, thank God she didn't win because after playing dirty n thinking she is entitled to be president because both bush (father and son) were president, come on Obama beat her fair and square, i just don't see why she wouldn't conceede,

its so funny on CNN someone said if Obama picks clinton as his vice president he better get a food taster, i think she is plain evil and crazy, thank God i switched to Obama, clinton is such a sore loser, i think she is angry she lost to a black man. i wouldn't be surprised if she is racist inside.

And, I wrote this in response:

Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.  One can usually tell how clean or dirty your asshole is by the kind of opinions you express.

Nothing in your statement is a fact.  You're just ranting and raving, biasedly criticizing the woman as if she stole your soul.  All the useless information you typed up there makes YOU look like the bitch.  You're not the kind of representative Obama needs.  Just another black woman playing the race card.

So to answer your question, Sisikill, I guess I typed it with as much of a straight face as you used in typing yours.  I mean, like seriously, did you really think you could get away with that without me catching it?  My response was not only justified, it is to be met with an applause.  But, i guess since this thread is synagogued by Obama-loving-democrats, you found it hard to induce good judgement in attempting to single me out.  Come on, do the rays bouncing off your assessment mirror deflect in more than one direction, or have you only been taught to be biased in assessing rudimental arguments?  If I sir-soak myself in insultive-lingo, then you must definitely immerse yourself in complete insincerity.

I doubt she needs you to tell her how or when to end her campaign. You would have advised her to curse her way out of it like you commonly do.

you wrote:

lol what do u think she is doing now, if you are going to say something please make sense eh

Clearly YOU need to make sense.  Yes, Hillary will end her campaign, but not because YOU asked her to.  Did you write her a personal letter, send her an e-mail, phone her, or inform her through some invisible intermediary? Obviously not.  Dummy.

Ibime wrote:
MyTempID, please take your Obama-hating elsewhere. Nobody wants to hear it. Kudos to Obama for winning the ticket but I think he needs to make Hillary his running mate to heal some of the divisions.
Ibime, please, before you come out of the ropes flailing like a be-headed chicken get the message right.  When I have addressed Obama in my posts, though it may seem like I'm bashing or hating to some of you, I made sure I presented my opinions on him with some properly developed information I collected or facts I gathered about his overall experience.  As is usually the case when defending one person over another, it may appear that I am hating but I actually am not.  If you think I am then do present the post and we can analyze it in its entirety. I might have been harsh, but in no way can you misconstrue that as "hate".

hey my mumu (FOOL) or is it my dullard friend. what has bush done to your so called economy so far since he got there? He has gone to war with it and killed Clinton good works.
and please foolish boy, stop claiming another country's economy we all know you are Nigerian and live in Nigeria,
Hisses,    stupid child
Dare you associate with a dullard?  On second thought, scratch that. You do. Your choice to associate with, and befriend, dullards is telling of the sort of friendships you keep.  But of course I'm not surprised to find that you do indeed have some dullards as friends: namely, but not limited to, ima1, sheniqua, or whomever else fits the list.  ima1 I must say is leaps and bounds ahead of the irreparable sheniqua.

Anyways, excuse my deviation. First, I must say I'm almost amazed that you have finally decided to give the Clintons credit for some of their work. As for your other remarks: giggles.

you are just laughable clown to me.
if i belong from a village thank God its from this modern generation unlike you early man from the stone age,  homo habilis
The pre-mentioned laughable clown has continued to chip in with points you're yet to refute.  I'm not at the very least shocked that you've chosen to take the blow-hole route of scattering ad-hominems.  Your post is slightly more bearable than sheniqua's insult riddled posts.  Don't fault me for joining in while also maintaining my level head.  tongue

@myTempID
hammerhead,
i have read quite a handful articles about hillary rodam Clinton and i was proud of her as a senator initially she did a good job in the health sector especially with health insurance companies but i was disappointed in her when i watched Micheal moors documentary (SICKO) about her role as a senator in national health reform initially she had a good fight with insurance firms like aetna, humana, united health, blue cross, hca, cigna etc.  republicans like rep Dick Armey(R-texas) had problems with her health reforms  but she stood her grounds giving affordable health care to the people  but unfortunately she was eventually silenced by collecting a bribe of $ 854462 just like the others eg. congress man billy Tauzin who eventually quite his job as a congress man of the united states to work for pharma another health insurance firm after being offered $2million.
she is going to be like another OBJ who when first started, began with good works by inaugurating panels e.g Oputa panel that will probe human right abuses and corrupt past leader but eventually did nothing and messed up in the end and even abused human rights e.g Odi village.

so dumb ass, when i argue i deal with facts & figures let her not come and bamboozle us with her health rubbish now.we are too smart for that and we are aware she has bleeped it up before by given the poor people hope and later dashing it out with a bribe

i guess you said it all along that women should stay in the kitchen where they belong and hillary i believe is no exception to that because she is a woman too.
Wow! What a fruit.  Don't come forth with speculations and opinions and attempt to disperse them as facts. Michael Moore cannot and will not take away from Hillary Clinton's accomplishments - either in the US. senate or as first lady.  Ask any politically well-informed person around (as clearly you're not) and they can tell you that Hillary Clinton has been fighting for the greater good of Americans all of her adult life.  She's had a profound impact on the lives of many with her tenacious involvement in healthcare. The silly fact that you choose to base your disqualifications of Mrs. Clinton's accomplishments on what Michael Moore or his conspiracy theory detailed is a showcasing of your stupidity and blockheadedness.  Meanwhile, if you bring forth some impressive facts we can further debunk your useless accusations.  Otherwise, it is completely foolish and meaningless to postulate over your gross hatred for Mrs. Clinton. There's no gain in continuing a bloated discussion with a weenie head who continues to make uninformed speculations ad nauseum.

ima1:

wow clinton has finally decided to end her campaign on Friday, why in the world is she taking that long. i think she is screwing up the chance for another woman to run for president because they will now see us women as sore losers who can't get over a little defeat. i think if she had graciously bowed out like everyone else did, then her chances of winning next term would be much higher.

I think Obama should be smart about selecting clinton as his VP, he should get other senetors or reputable people to pick a VP, so he is not pressured into picking clinton.
I doubt she needs you to tell her how or when to end her campaign. You would have advised her to curse her way out of it like you commonly do.

@Doyin13,

I have found it to be too easy to be friendly and genial.  That's my reason for deviating.
Arguing with clowns is like talking to a tree.  They will continue to be clowns even as you attempt to tell them something with reason.  It's better to educate the young than it is to recover old fools on the loose.  These fools have gone too far to be tamed, but it's notable to make an example out of them so that the young generation can learn the benefit in using their common sense to serve them better.
