zetdee: 28 Soldiers Arrested In Lagos

The Military Police on Thursday said it
arrested 28 wandering soldiers in the
streets of Lagos.
Maj. Oyegoke Badamosi, spokesman for
the 9 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Ikeja
Cantonment, made this known to the
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
Badamosi said the soldiers were arrested
by the military police attached to
“Operation Checkmate”, to curb
misconduct and unauthorised movement
of personnel in the city.
He added that the operation was aimed at
checkmating soldiers who go about
without staying at their duty posts.
He, however, said those arrested had been
released after confirmation from their
offices that they were genuine personnel.
Badamosi said that the operation would be
a daily routine and would be extended to
other parts of the state to enable the
military authority to continue to enforce
armed forces rules on erring personnel.
An eye-witness, who simply gave his name
as Moses, told NAN that the soldiers were
arrested around Onipanu and Palm Grove
areas of Lagos.
According to him, “military police arrested
soldiers on Ikorodu Expressway.”
Another eye-witness, Ms Victoria Joseph,
said motorists and pedestrians panicked
during the arrest.

show us a bomb detonating robot full developed, built and in use by south african military. i noticed that south african soldiers dont build weapons and equipment like nigeria, they all depend on DENEL, becuase the south african soldiers have a 33% brain.

and DENEL is run by a foreigner. that's why they get pissed when our military actually build something. grin

they expect a bomb detonating robot to carry missiles and cannon guns with armour grin

empty heads full that country bross grin

NaijaPikinGidi: I wonder when this South African blockheads will learn to read and comprehend? Nigerian Airforce is now Nigeria Police? When the news of the NAF produced robot was shared on the thread a week ago with the wrong image they could not hold their mouths ... Now the image is here and at first it was toy ... toy, then they were shown some small and similar robots used around the world only for MsauZA to throw in a link about US robot donation to Nigeria Police. The Bring Nigeria Down Syndrome is a proudly South African disease!

these guys are complete blockheads. i put beegeagle blog as reference and they still want me to help them with the full site, but they can go to google to look for statistics. what is going on with their brains na?

now they are talking about a US donation in January for something that was built recently. i can see why SA women would rather be lesbians than date their men.

the thing tire me undecided

Msauza: The US donates robots to Nigeria:

http://www.pilotafrica.com/2013/07/24/u-s-donates-bomb-disposal-robot-to-nigeria-police-force/

old story. so our robot looks cool to you that you wish it's the one US donated to us. grin keep dreaming.

why don't you say Israel also gave us the AMEBO drone since we bought drones from them too. your post is baseless and senseless.

They were shouting toy! grin grin

It is normal for their stupid brains to make fun of anything that is not South African! They've never heard of smart gadgets and technology! It's not about the size but the usefulness and effectiveness of the robot! Suddenly Mike..ZA is asking for source? grin grin grin grin I can't stop using this icon! Nigeria builds smart South Africa builds sizes! grin grin grin grin grin

these guys don't even know that the worst thing that can kill a man faster than his enemies is "living in denial". and that's why their military have never achieved anything since inception. Which also explains why they underrated seleka and paid a heavy price for it.

they don't know the revolution and shift in policy in Nigerian defense industry. and they'll keep being blind till we gradually become self reliant in building and maintaining our equipments. just watch what they'll say when we finish building our warship next year. smh for these dull SAns

Msauza:

Bwahahahahaha!! Bwahahahahaha!! Bwahahahahaha!!

I knew that nothing better would come out of Nigeria. That will be only the furthest they will go.
grin grin grin grin

i knew you were expecting one of the size of voltron. sorry we don't do things for praises but to suit their requirements.
these robots are meant for IED detonation, not for lifting cars and trailers. even countries that started the technology have eveolved to using robots smaller than this for efficiency because big ones can't reach under cars. dummy.

here's US sending tiny bomb detonation robots to iraq far back as 2006.http://www.post-gazette.com/stories/news/science/robots-built-in-wva-going-to-iraq-to-detonate-bombs-430942/

we don't things for showmanship,we do things to our requirements and are not scared or too sissy to use them. unlike SANDF

the only difference i see between all these robots are the tires (tracked and normal)
what do you south africans even know about anything.

compare
