Death is inevitable for the living. So is life for the dead.
R.I.P every body.
Politics / Re: Igbo Presidency by nitewalker: 7:45pm On Dec 18, 2010
strangerf:

I dont think there is any Igbo competent enough to rule Nigeria

They could not rule themselves, how can they rule Nigeria

Remember, they are the only ethnic group in the world that never had an empire!

Remember there are some smart people in this forum. Though miscreants and uneducated one make the most noise.
If you state something that lacks facts or precedence you run the risk of being ascribed to the milieu of the lowly
"miscreants and uneducated". Or is it already too late for you to be salvaged?.

In your defence, if you removed the word Igbo from your post and replaced it with Black Africa, or just blacks, you will have aligned yourself with the school of thought that have consistently claimed that the black man can not govern his-self. Thereby undermining your initial prejudicial argument against the igbos. You have been taught son.
Politics / Re: Igbo Presidency by nitewalker: 7:01pm On Dec 18, 2010
Obasanjo was a yoruba President. What did he specifically do for the yorubas?. I believe he did or tried to do something
for the entire country. It matters very little to me where you are from.
What should be of concern is the religious thing. Northerners who have held this position the longest, and are all muslims
have due to an allegiance to Islam as mandated by that religion favored fellow nothern moslems more during thier tenures.

Let non muslims hold this office for a couple of years, may be not as long as the northerners has held it, lets see if Nigeria will heal.

Any president of Nigeria rules out of Abuja not out of his village homestead. so it matters little if they are ibo, yoruba, efik or whatever.
I just think that its time notherners gave other people a chance to rule.

.

Audu's predecessor was an Igbo-man, noting gives a theif confidence than when he knows the one b4 him got away with cold blooded murder. If you want to read about the predecessor search for the thread, there is no need to creat another thread. It is necessary for one to examine where Audu's lunatic stealing streak came from, hence the reason why the story of his predecessor was brought up.

An igbo man taught a Northern politician how to loot?. Change your moniker from know all to know not, please.
How in the world were you able to juxtapose those two different topics ?. talk less of actually holding such asinine
opinion. OK, so even if in your upside down universe your statement holds water, how then did you justify denying Ibo,s the presidency because of that one instance. did an Ibo man teach all the coffer looting politicians past and present in Nigeria? how to loot?. I'm not Ibo, but your post is garbage.

Kogi State don suffer, first the last Igbo Military Govenor stripped the state to its bear knuckles, and now this Igbira man only continued from where the Igbo Governor stopped, I hope Bayo Ojo would be the next Governor of the state, the rot going in Kogi State should stop, too many journey-men has ruled that state for too long, they need some progressives. undecided

IS THE REASON WHY Igbo's should not be President.

Colonel (retired) Augustine Ifeanyi Aniebo was the Military Administrator of Borno State, Nigeria during the military regime of General Sani Abacha. He then became Administrator of Kogi State, Nigeria from August 1998 to 29 May 1999 during the transitional regime of General Abdulsalami Abubakar, handing over to the elected civilian governor Abubakar Audu on 29 May 1999 at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic.[1]

Aniebo was born on 23 March 1950 in Anambra State.[2] In the Nigerian Civil War he commanded the Biafran 58 Brigade at Uyo.[3] He was captured in the fall of Uyo in 1968, and detained until the end of the war.[citation needed]

In May 1997 Nigerian security agents, working with Islamic leaders, stormed a Christian Church in Maiduguri, Borno State and ejected the pastor and church members. The church leaders appealed to Aniebo to act quickly to avoid a religious crisis.[4] In 1998 he said that the Borno State task force against smuggling had been strengthened to reduce cross-border smuggling of petroleum products to neighboring countries.[5]

Appointed administrator of Kogi State in August 1998, he left office without swearing in his successor, having drained the state's treasury dry and racked up massive debts.[6][7] His successor, Abubakar Audu, personally went to President Olusegun Obasanjo to complain that it was impossible to administer the state given the size of the debts.[8]

Later he became Chairman and CEO of Hotel Millennium Abuja.[2]

Is this a classical atitude of an Igbo hench man OR just a one off

Igbo man should not be president or Abubakar is a saint. whats ur point?.
an igbo man is not contesting for the presidency. A bayelsa man is.
dont tell me u dont know the difference Mr know it all.

It is a court orderd eviction ofcourse. What has that got to do with the price of tea in China?.
Nothing. Precisely. If dna comes back and proves those children his, he is shelling out more money than that house is worth.
If he was not dulled out by emotion and acting with petulence, he should have consulted an attorney in the U.S, and have the riot act read to him. If some one adviced him, and I doubt it, then its safe to assume he was wrongly informed. And now he must pay the piper.

Now the very merciless pro woman and especially mother with kids, United states judicial system takes over.
Mr Abubaker might have won round one, but believe me this battle has not even started yet.
Even with a not very good lawyer she is gonna take this fight to him where eventually he will be the one
seeking capitulation and resolve.
His mistake is bringing the fight out of Nigeria and taking it to America.
Politics / Re: Buhari: Nigeria Lacks Visionary Leadership by nitewalker: 6:11pm On Dec 12, 2010
Black man can not effectively govern his self given a western standardized government.
He has had since post colonial to prove the above statement wrong, and has constantly fallen short.
Solution. Go back to the way things were before colonization.

Plse do not cite ghana as an egsample of success. Ghana is the size of a state in Nigeria, and its seemingly current success would only be accurately measured in a few more yrs.

Nigeria’s airports most embarrassing? why don't you try the interstate roads in Nigeria and then define the state the are in.well i guess you wouldn't know since the airports are your only means of transport.
a friend of mine that took a flight from lagos to port harcourt about four weeks ago was shocked when he saw rats at the airport.he just could not understand why there would be rats at the airport.well, this is Nigeria

There are rats at heathrow and at JFK. I have personally seen them. The ones at JFK are actually known to occasionaly steal passengers bags and hold them in ransom for food exchange.

David mark is blowing smoke as usuall. An effort he makes every now and then to assuage his coffers looting conscience.

The saddest thing my people is that the frustrating lack of action by the Nigerian government has turned its citizenry abroad and at home into passive aggresive pacifists.

The extent of our aggression towards our tormentor is these aggresive diatribes. Its not new, and the day to act might never come, cry for your selves, because your beloved country has been hijacked by thugs.

i think most of those who believe in live n let live are either gay or have gay tendencies.like you rightly pointed out,if you allow them they will start looking for allowance.the issue of decriminalising it in nigeria will never be possible.aside being against the law,the two major religion, christianity n islam(which i believe have great role to play on the issue and for now are not found wanting) are against it,and it is against our culture(which we proudly hold dearly) as africans unlike the westerners who have no culture.
it may not affect us directly as individuals but one way or the other the whole system must be affected.

Mr sodomite.
I am with you. they (sodomizers of all sorts) shall all be banished into an eternal dungeon, never to be heard from again.

they deserve to be all stoned to death. haba.

Mr Sodomite.
you are correct. the gays should all be put to death by being burned alive. how dare they. enough is enough.
Romance / Re: Why African Marriages Can't Survive In The West by nitewalker: 10:15pm On Dec 08, 2010
agitator:

And the western marriages have been surviving?
f
Some, and with it, are the marriages of those Africans who understands and practices equally shared rights.

Remember that the ambiguity of the posters question lends one to assume that those marriages faithed to failure will fail regardless .

That's why I infer ed that the most effecting influence on marriage is environment. The western environment due to its empowerment of women experiences higher divorce rate, because a person empowered has more choices.
In essence African marriage in the west survives if both partners treat each other as equals.

my two cents.

Naira land. kinda squeaky clean though.

could use less whitewashed topics. present topic alluded to.

Not recomending that the place turn into sodom as was the defunct ghana web casual forum.

But a little ire and controversy without the risk of etrernal banishment to culprits could give the place a smidgen

of much desired testicular fortitude. God knows it needs it.

my two cents.
Romance / Re: Why African Marriages Can't Survive In The West by nitewalker: 9:34pm On Dec 07, 2010
African Mariage can survive in the west but with the same degree of failure as it is for western people.

Marriages in Africa has a higher survival rate due to a culture that maybe suppressive to women.

Whereas in the west marriages generally are susceptible to divorce perhaps and probably because more choices, and a

lesser burden of stigma are given to women.

If a husband understands this and affords his wife the matrimonial liberties encouraged in a western country. then the

survivability of the union climbs exponentially.

my two cents.

As long as you don't repent of your foolish thinking and conclusion, you remain the biggest fool in the world.

Mr. co- rk wears the dishonor of foolishness with pride. Don't waste your time lecturing him.The juvenile idiocy in his posts reminds one of the elementary school days. The anonymity afforded by the web has encouraged his wallow in the dark dungeon of his psychosis. Incessant tribal attacks is the hallmark of the common street thug in lagos and elsewhere. Now, think. Is that the sort of person you will spare a moment of your time in real life?. My two cents.
