Reports in various Germany outlets say Bruno Labbadia has now turned down the NFF offer of being the next Super Eagles coach.

Victor Osimhen not leaving Italy is sad for me coz his playing time is now uncertain. I love to see my monster machine playing and enjoying his football.

ADL truly has proven what a Monstrous B**tard he is but it's his loss in the end. He will pay Osimhen his wages whether he plays or not and by January, they better sell to salvage something before Osimhen leaves for far less in the summer of 2025.

I got to know ADL because of Arkadiusz Milik. Blinded by the turnaround of fortunes he brought to Napoli he has eulogized himself tone deaf that he thinks he is some Tzar.

I only appreciate that Osimhen shone there

but the thing is, Chelsea are the only European club after his signature and they don’t look serious while the Saudi club are very eager to have him on board. It’s either he moves to a Chelsea that would be eager to move him on at the first sight of poor form/injury, he remains at Napoli where he could go 6 months without any football activity or he goes to Saudi. While the money is very tempting I don’t think that’s the main attraction for Victor
It's a crazy situation truly.

I don't like Chelsea for him for the major reason that Maresca just doesn't seem like he needs him. Saudi may blow up in his face given how hypercritical many have been of him. Finally, Napoli...that club doesn't have the squad depth to edge out Osimhen totally but they can significantly reduce his playing time.

Common to all option is the fact that there is zero loss to him financially and a huge chance of his stocks falling.

In the extreme scenario that he remains at Naples, there's a hope of the winter transfer window.

I wish some of una Dey osimhen shoes
Na talk like this de fuel his deriders. Osimhen's rise to the top was not a fluke, he didn't get lucky.

This Nigerian politician mindset we think is "wisdom" is nauseating.

I looked at what Usain Bolt earned for all his athletic glory and I was like that looks small o! But for life his name and face is a brand.

The implications should be considered for both his career and caf apoty rep. Plus he has haterz that will ring bells of fluke form even if it doesn't stick it will be loud. Those in saudi are those done with UEFA and at most won 1 UCL. He needs better uefa teammates and a better atmosphere in Europe imo
I am against him going to Saudi. However it's not difficult to imagine how tempting the monetary returns must be to him.

With what he is earning, he will never be poor again. But in the words of Emeritus Professor Lil Wayne grin, "too much money ain't enough money"

Maybe we should have gone for Gareth now that he's available grin grin grin grin
I spent some time going through articles from his time at Hoffenheim. The only thing i would say is that he has "modern ideas"

I think he is set up to fail. Except he has been watching SE games and he already has a formula, I can only see him going through a very dark tunnel.

These ones should be converted into the Nigerian National Guard and they should be placed under the Army’s command where they can serve as Army Reserve. Way too much uniform agencies in Nigeria that are straining our budget unnecessarily.
The thing is, outside the Armed Forces the paramilitary have a 20th century Command and Control system. I often ask if they don't send their officers abroad to learn best practices.

It is one reason I shit on the Ministry of Interior. All these years of putting Generals and no significant upgrade.

Until you face a similar situation before you can talk authoritatively
See, that legacy gangan is what will keep him relevant when his boots are hung.

Footballers who had a memorable career have better chances of securing endorsement/ambassadorial deal.

Osimhen is not someone who was lucky to get the spotlight. He has all it takes to keep shining.

Massive! This cast light on how much work the Alpha Jets did.

The Tucanos has proven to be a very good buy. 10k hours in 3 years without burning a hole in the budget. NAF flew it like it wanted to pay up for the time lost when it was blocked by Obama grin

So how many current Super Eagles players are involved in this transfer windows aside Iheanacho (completed)?

Will Ademola Lookman move after this Super Cup?
Does Lookman really need to move? He has a good thing going for him. Good coach, good team, stability and UCL which is a bigger stage than he has had all his career.

Oga pls don’t say am sounding stupid but do you want to hear fact….parents are failing the nation, imagine sending your children to schools with no sport facilities, funny no football field to play popular sport.I have a friend who withdrew his talented son from private school to public school just cus of football field and this caused rift between him and his wife but good the boy was part of Beyond Limit boys that participated in Gothia cup.

Most kids now want to make money quickly and our entertainment industry is killing a lot of talents, trying to emulate fake life of our celebrities ….na yahoo yahoo dem dey pursue, wants to spend money like Obi Cubanas…..go to universities,NUGA game is gone cuz you see 14 and 15 years old in the universities and funny they added to their ages to meet universities age requirements.

Yes we blame government for many things but as individuals are we doing the needful

Emma Olisadebe,Seyi Olofinjana and former Nigeria Olympic Silver Medalist Bisi Afolabi are my paddies and I can testify that they made it cuz they are mature enough when they are in the university.

How is it that our black relatives especially in America and Jamaica do very well in athletics but we don't? Is it the lack of training facilities? Why is it that we can't just get these things right? If we say US has facilities due to their economy, what of Jamaica?

I think these things are not a matter of economy, we simply are shoddy, incompetent and maybe indifferent about these things. Even if na to go dey run on top those Plateau hills, we can make something out of ourselves if we are determined and disciplined and committed. The idea of seeking for glory is lost to us as a nation and it's a terrible condition.
Just like a man who is after survival has no business with recreation and leisure, same with the country.

Those who will run on Shere Hills or the mambilla are doing so for their survival, to escape poverty also. And many will fail.
