eleojo23: Drugs are taken primarily to alleviate or cure illnesses. Most of the time, these drugs come with unpleasant side-effects after administration.
In my childhood years, chloroquine was my nightmare because of the terrible itching it gave me. I took procold sometime in 2009 and it caused me serious stomach disturbance.
There are some persons who react to sulphur-containing drugs.

Feel free to share the unpleasant drug side-effects you've experienced in the course of treating an illness.

i dont like taking ciprofloxacin, cos it it acidic which is not good for ulcer. i dont usually pray to have typhoid cos the treatment is h****

chyna4luv: and she has indirectly assured me that I would work in her department and that before I leave, I would use her PC to do a little calculation for her using MS Excel. I began to happy in my mind and thanking GOD internally.
But something happened along the scenerio, hmmm. Wait a minute! she said! In laughter and joking mood she asked, Where would you see yourself in five years time?
'CHAI! NA HERE YAWA COM GAS.' Instead of me to say something in accordance or inline with her department, since she has indirectly assured me to work in her department as a Teller, I began to say rubbish. The interviewer's mood changed. In a frown face, she now asked me to go without typing again.
At this point, I knew that I have failed. After two weeks they contacted those that passed for an induction and didn't contact me. Suppossing I got that job, honestly I will be influencing my boss easily based on my chat with her, Lol.

Hope we all have learnt something from my weirdest interview questions? If you do, kindly click "LIKE".

Career / A Boss Sowed Discord Among His Workers- Is It Ethical? by oferefe(f): 8:58am On Jan 09, 2013
Hi Nairalanders, pls i would like you to look into this matter. An MD of a company received a report from one of his managers whom he challenged has not been helping the company to meet its targets. The manager in his response to the challenge explained with instances, that other departments in the company were responsible for the lapses. So the MD called for a meeting,he printed the report and read it to everybody's hearing. Since that day, the people that were reported have been showing hatred to the manager,to the extent that they want to frustrate him out of the company which the MD is aware of, now the MD called the manager to stylishly beg the man that was reported.Gush! is that acceptable in an organised working environment? knowing fully that the poor manager was only trying to help the company grow....i wonder what the MD was thinking when he suggested that. Pls i will like you contributions on this

Fashion / Re: How Long Do You Take To Do Your Hair? by oferefe(f): 2:47pm On Jan 04, 2013
ogugua88: Specifically on wash days.

Washing my hair and everything it entails takes forever. It's to the point that I no longer look forward to it. All I do is complain undecided

Shampooing alone takes 30-45 minutes. Deep conditioning is another 20-30 minutes. I don't use a blow dryer anymore, and I flat iron seldom. Flat ironing takes between 50-75 minutes. From what it once was, that's considered a breeze.

I put my hair in rollers on New Years Eve. It was my fastest roller set ever. It took 95 minutes.

Ayam suffering. Anyone else dey my boat? I would love to figure out ways to shorten the amount of time I spend on my hair so that I could enjoy the process once again. Also, I'd love hair-doing to not be an entire-day affair.

@op am sure u have a very long hair, for you to have been spending such a long time with every process of washing ur hair. Anyways my own hair washing n drying doesnt take that much cos i have a light texture hair and average length. I must say God has blessed you greatly with hair. Enjoy!

Health / Re: I Have Malaria Every Week, Please Any Advice. by oferefe(f): 1:44pm On Nov 13, 2012
kinnkw: Since my relocation to Lagos since 2009, my health condition has greatly decreased.

Prior to my relocation i hardly get sick at all. As a child i suffered malaria a lot but that was when i was still in boarding school, after that i have never had malaria or any reason to go to a hospital till 2009 when i came to Lagos.

The symptoms are never severe but it affects my productivity drastically and it scares me. Most times i get scared thinking something else is wrong with me, but when i get to a hospital and run some test the result is always Malaria +. I understand some people get malaria ++ which is more serious.

Some people say i expose myself to mosquitoes a lot, but i have also discovered that i attract mosquitoes more than everybody around me.I always complain about mosquito bites once its 6pm as a result of that i hardly come outside once it get back home from work.

The symptoms i get include, very mild headache, Pain behind my eyes, heavy eyes, dizziness, abdominal pain in the mornings when i wake up, severe tiredness, Feeling weak even after a night sleep, muscular pain, pain in joints, lack of concentration, Irregular bowel movements,a feel of bloated stomach and sometimes a burning sensation in stomach like i'm hungry even after having a good meal.

I go about my daily business like normal but i'm very very bothered because these symptoms all come back a week after treatment.

My productivity is grossly affected, i have seen decrease in time i put in work and domestic related activities.
I will advise you consult another doctor, go for a full blood count,Buy mosquito net to prevent further bite, also you could take worm medication for the irregular bowel movement and bloating. Worms can be very killing at timse when too much in our body.Drink a lot of water especially in the morning,to clean your system and ensure you eat more of fruits and vegetables.Above all pray for divine healing and believe that God can heal you permanently .Good luck!

I think the girl is just being childish by being rude to the guy.I understand , it really pained her that he collected the fone from her and maybe he didnt want tot give her back. To her the fone means so much to her, thats why she insulted him that much. I will suggest the guy should play maturity and give the fone back to her since its a gift, then correct her because she's still growing, a school girl for that matter, what do you expect from her? when all her friend are pinging, and her fone is with someone, and d person is telling her d fone is bad, forget about relationship now, she will show her other side. grin

Funny! some guys believe they are doing ladies a favour by marrying them. let me tell you we(man & woman) are both involved in this.A woman too is looking for a good man to marry as much as a man is...dont always feel women need to be evaluated before u decide to marry her. you guys need to be more thoroughly evaluated wen it comes to making a decision to settle down.
