My permutation on this matter is that once those of us waiting for 2nl for the month of February did not get it by the 7th Day of January, 2013,it means that the advance bulletin notification for MARCH will necessary be affected. I left lagos on 28th Dec. 07:45am, had stop over at casablanca 12:55pm and left for NYC. T'was 8hrs journey from casablanca to NY. Before landing, a form was given to me to declear all stuff with me,(including BTA). Got to NY around 4pm(U.S time)... went through the necessary checking at JFK airport and it lasted for 15minutes. Then I went to carry my luggage... My host already waiting for me at the arrival point. Thanks to all who supply me the info needed, right from day 1 I join this forum... chyk2020: hello guys, this is chyk2020, reporting live from indiana, USA, though the temperature here is -3 degree which makes it too cold but anyway it is so lovely out here. i and wife entered USA O'hare international airport Chicago by 5pm usa time yesterday via turkish airline, that left lagos on 28th dec. by exactly 10:35pm and stopped at istanbul by 6:15am and left for and chicago by 1:45pm, we were on air for 11 hrs to chicago. we went through the necessary checking at the airport which lasted for about 1hr. wanna thank God that started this great things with me since 11th may 2012, when i first saw the first notification letter, for perfecting it. THANK YOU MY LORD JESUS. I SAY TO MY FELLOW FORUMITES, THANKS U GUYS ARE WONDERFUL, MERRY XMAS TO U ALL AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR. [b]Jan 25th 2012- I went for my interview(i wasnt granted but was scheduled for 2nd interview)
Feb 16th-I did my 2nd interview but no visa still.
March 12th-I was in Burkina-faso when my wife called me to inform me that embassy called us to come and drop our passport for visa.
April 2nd- Visited the embassy and dropped my passport
April 10th-We got our visa
May 30th - I booked my flight
Sept 8th - I arrived US of A.

A dream of 15years finally came to reality tru this lottery.Been very rough for me but i keep thanking God,You my pals,family and those who stood and belived in me.Now in my forth month in US,life has been going smoothly.

Calme toi, mon ami! It's natural to be anxious though! If you observe very well, out of all the people that got their 2NL yesterday, none had case no. of 10,000 to 11,000 from Nigeria. All the ones from Nigeria had case nos of 500, 2000, 5,000 etc. That may imply that Kcc released 2NL of case nos of winners who became current long ago, but because they winners discovered and submitted much later, they are only receiving their 2NL now! Don't be suprised, your 2nl may land this evening or this week. Worst case scenario will be next release by Jan. Pls. Go and catch that sleep you missed and sweet dreams! It is well!!

Correct talk. this is part of the backlog that slows the bulletin down for Nigeria. the next release of 2nl will capture the 1000 added now. Am current for February. All we need to do is relax. Easy does it.

honeydee: Dis lottery is a test of ur patience. First you apply and wait anxiously for may to see if uve won.if u don't win u wait anxiously for the nxt lottery to start so u can play. If you win, you wait anxiously for visa bulletin to make you current. After that you start waiting again for 2nd nl, then you wait again for interview. Even after a successful interview you still wait anxiously to pick up ur visa. Den u wait till u finally land in usa, wait for gc and ssn ...... Patience is key. God is with us. 1. Most of my Cert have my First name and my surname while other have First, middle name and Surname, do I need an affidavit for this issue?
2. I studied Electrical Electronics Engineering but work with an Oil and Gas Servicing firm where I don't do more of Electrical Engineering work . though I have some experience in the Electrical Field from previous employment ,Should I go with Education during the Interview?

Though My interviews should be around February because I wrote KCC about Status of my application and they sent me this reply "Your forms have been received and are acceptable for the continuation of your visa processing. KCC is currently scheduling visa numbers for your region for the month of February. Please refer to the visa bulletin at www.travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month."

that this office regrets regrets to inform you that it is unable to issue a visa to you because you have been found ineligible under the labor qualifications section 212(a)(5)(A) of the law. After careful review of your application, it has been determined that you do not meet the qualifications for this visa class. Unfortunately, there is no appeal for Diversity Visa Lottery applications.
I need the phone number of the naira land lawyer for his advice, because i want to appeal this decision because i won through my wife and she has credits on her 9 papers in WAEC.

princecharming it is sad to hear that u guys were denied. pls u need to post the interview experience to enable us pidgeon hole the kind of advice you required in the circumstance. Note that some jobs are hard to distinguish from their educational qualification. Be positive in ur trials .All hope is not lost.
