responded to her critics.
The actress who has been consistently cast as a ‘witch’ by
local movie producers has been labeled by many as a
'witch' in real life situation.
However, speaking to Agyemang Prempeh on Rainbow
radio in Accra, Grace Awuni sarcastically answered her
critics she is indeed a witch and has some unique features.
The actress in her interview revealed that she only has
exceptional qualities to play unique roles as 'witch'. She

An armed robber died from his partner’s bullet during a foiled
robbery attack on one Francis Chibueze, along Bakery road, Azikoro
village, Yenagoa.
Confirming the incident on Sunday, the spokesman of the
State Police Command, DSP Asinim Butswat, told the News
Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the armed robber mistakenly
shot and killed his partner.
“ On Dec. 22, at about 8 p.m., a gang of two armed robbers
attacked one Francis Chibueze of Bakery Road, Azikoro
Village, Yenagoa.
“As they were trying to attack their victim, one the robbers
mistakenly shot and killed his partner, while the victim,
Chibueze, escaped unhurt.
“The deceased armed robber was identified as Thankgod
Smith, a 25 years old man, and the partner who shot him is
Peter Napoleon, 23 ,’’ Butswat told NAN.

National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance
(APGA), Dr Victor Oye, has blamed the current fuel scarcity
in the country on corruption and confusion in country's
petroleum industry. Oye said this in an interview with the
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Awka while reacting to
the situation on Saturday, December 23. He said it is
unfortunate that the cartel responsible for the hardship
inflicted on Nigerians has not been defeated but are rather
dictating the pace in the system. Oye said there is need for
clear delineation of powers and functions of the offices of
the Minister of State for Petroleum and that of the Group
Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum
Cooperation (NNPC). Oye described scarcity as a seasonal
period when the poor suffered so that the rich could be
richer, adding that it was beyond the control of filling
station operators. He said, "There are a lot of factors
affecting fuel distribution in Nigeria and this bothers on
sharp practices in the various agencies involved in the
system like the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory
Agency, Department of Petroleum Resources and the NNPC.

once again criticized dancehall artiste, Ebony, saying she is
the first prostitute in Ghana. The self-styled life and

I met him in church one Sunday morning. He sat next to me and I
couldn’t help it but recognize the kind of gentleman he was. He was
soft spoken and had this shyness on her face anytime he tried to talk
to me.
During the service, I realized he was finding it uneasy to sing along
with the church because he didn’t come along with a hymn book. I
shared mine. We both sang from the same hymn book and got closer
as the service progressed. After the last grace was said by the priest
and the church dispersed, he turned to me and said thank you. I
smiled and asked his name. “I’m Martin,” he said. “Nice meeting you
Martin” I responded. But before I could turn around and leave, he told
me; “Actually, this is my first time being here.”
Amid smiles he continued. “and it’s great finding a friend at my first
time in church. Do you mind if I called you sometimes?” We
exchanged contacts and left each other’s presence. Truth be told, I
was going through the hardest times of my life. The man I’ve dated for
about two years just called it quit and I was very devastated. I was
nursing my wounds when Martin came along. He kept crossing my
mind all week but I resolved not to call him until he does. He never
called until we met in church again the next Sunday.
Inwardly, I felt guilty for thinking about him the way I did all week.
That’s girlish. But we had another good service together, singing from
the same hymn book and making fun under our breath. After the
service, he called when he got home. We started chatting on
Whatsapp and grew closer together as the days pass. I shared my
story of broken relationships with him and he was kind enough to offer
soothing words. He didn’t judge me.

A suspected armed robber was on Monday involved in an
accident while making away with the car he allegedly
snatched from the owner.
The suspect had stolen the ash coloured Toyota Camry with
registration number KTU 765 DV, and was driving along
Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when he had an accident.
The Ogun State Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps,
FRSC, Clement Oladele, who confirmed the development
said a motorist, who passed by the accident scene reported
to some officials of the corps who were stationed nearby.
”A motorist, who stopped by the FRSC team had reported a
crash at Ramona Trailer park Ogere and the team quickly
moved to the scene”, he said.
”On getting to the scene, the FRSC patrol team were able to
‘secure’ the driver, who was the only occupant of the
vehicle”, the commander added.

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has sworn in 28
new commissioners and 27 Transition Committee
Chairmen for the 27 local government councils in the state.
He charged them to prove their worth in the service of the
state and her people. One of the commissioners sworn in
by the governor is his biological sister, Mrs. Ogechi Ololo
(nee Okorocha). She is now the state’s Commissioner for
Happiness and Couples’ Fulfillment. Ololo, who is married
to Chuks, an engineer, was the All Progressives Congress’
candidate into the House of Representatives for the Owerri
Federal Constituency seat in 2015 and she has served in
various capacities since Okorocha became the state
governor in 2011. She had, before her new appointment,
served as her brother’s Deputy Chief of Staff and Special
Adviser on Domestic Matters. Swearing in the new
commissioners and the Transition Committee Chairmen on
Monday at the Imo International Convention Centre,
Owerri, the governor charged them to leave their marks in
their respective ministries and local governments. He
urged them to see themselves as men and women on a
rescue mission. The governor added that they had come to
be part of the success story of his administration.
Okorocha said, “You are the privileged group that has the
opportunity to make names for yourselves. I want to
remind all of you that this appointment is not business as
usual. We shall not tolerate any sharp practice or
corruption of any type. Neither shall we accept indolence
or laziness. You have been called to duty to help us to
achieve our vision in the Rescue Mission Project. “At this
moment, I charge you all to be good ambassadors of the
Rescue Mission wherever you find yourselves. To the
