deledudu: Congrats Deledudu As for IOM, I paid 691k for a family of four. Write IOM Australia or IOM Nigeria, tell them you want them to arrange your travel, give them your destination and travel period. You will be sent a quotation and form to fill. That's basically that. Write them and you'll be guided further. 1 Like |

adim02: Afim, you may log on to ieltspractice.com or road to ielts. You will be prompted to subscribe for 49.9USD. It lasts for a month. I personally used this and it sure assisted me. All you need is your laptop and internet subscription and your subscription amount. In my opinion and experience. If you prefer the hardcopy of study materials, then you may obtain them from the nearest british council office. Good luck 1 Like |

deledudu: Wow, that's quite close oooo. Nothing is impossible Bro. Your visa could be out next week... Patience bro. But in my opinion, you may give them a call. Your case officer wont be the one to pick the call but definitely you'll get a courteous response from them. The number I've got is +27124236201 (Immigration Pretoria). 1 Like 2 Shares |

deledudu: Deledudu: Is it SVP? If yes, I will advice you call them on phone telling them you want to know the status of your visa application. Have your passport number handy. They will check and most probably tell you that your case officer will contact you. Secondly, delays may arise if they decide to verify certain documents submitted. Be positive and prayerful, am sure you'll get a positive response next week. I know that feeling bro. Be rest assured that it will come thru. 1 Like |

ome240: @Aduktus: Please what are the prospects of getting good and affordable accommodation in an area close to UTAS/AMC? This aspect is still pending for me. Have tried searching via gumtree and real estate.com but to no avail. Pls if you've got any info that may be of help to me, I will be glad to work with that. Am looking at a One or two bedroom flat since am coming over with family. Whatever info it is, kindly spill it. Enjoy your evening. |

mrnilobrawn: The additional documents were 1. Scholarship Letter 2. Medical Examination for my son. For the number 2, it was concluded last week. But for number 1, the school reiterated that they don't issue separate letters for Scholarship as everything is included in the offer letter. All I did was to print the response from the institution and attach my Offer of Admission and sent to the Case Officer. I was just hoping the grant wont be further delayed by anything else. Travelling requires proper planning. Thanks alot for the encouragement @missakomaye and mrninlobrawn. |

Greetings people. Anyone who has been through the visa lodgement process, do they send any form of notification to the student applicant when the application is received in Pretoria? Just to double check and ensure am right on track. Can someone pls help me out on this one. |
Travel / Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by ome240: 1:46pm On Apr 27, 2015 |
@mrnilobrawn It's like a top up. The degree is delivered in Phases. I am joining at the phase 5 of the programme. its a core marine course. I had started from Nigeria, had phase 4 in Ghana and hoping to conclude the final phase in Australia. After the phase 5 which lasts for 1year, I will be issued with a Bsc in Applied Sciences (Nautical). I paid tuition and OSHC for the duration as stipulated in the CoE for me and family. In my offer letter and CoE, it was stated that I've been Awarded a Ports & Shipping Scholarship. Don't know if the scholarship is enshrined in the Nautical science programme or if it starts when I conclude the Bsc modules. I will be undertaking National regulators exams with AMSA at the end of the Bsc course though. like you adviced, I will write them to clarify about this. Thanks. |

Greetings People.... Nice to see people make out time to reach out to others. Kudo everyone. I have a few queries, 1. I have an offer from the University of Tasmania (Australian Maritime College). The course offered me is Bachelor of Applied Nautical Science. Further more in my offer letter, I was also awarded a scholarship in Ports & Shipping. People I don't understand how the Bsc course offer and scholarship works. can anyone throw more light on this. Am skeptical asking the school cos am processing docs for visa application. 2. The course duration is for about one year..... Can I travel with my family for the entire duration of the course without being bounced by immigration 3. I qualified for the SVP. Is it possible to receive visa grant within one month, as I plan to lodge application for me and family tomorrow. 4. Is there anyone on this thread in Tasmania. Can someone please advice...... cheers people |

Friends am almost done..... All that is left is my accomodation. called intown on phone, they made reservation for a week. Some folks on this side said I can do booking for a month. Now my question is this, I need to get reservation for 3 months for my interview and possibly to secure my stay. Who has useful information of an alternative for this challenge. If I go ahead and make reservation for one month, will I be good to go? Your advice on this is needed. |
