Since you moved the naira equivalent from ur Naira account just highlight that portion on the statement and write an explanation that the money was to purchase dollar from the parrallel market in order to have the POF in one account. If there is any chat beteeen both of you on this you can also attach. Alternatively, the friend can do a gift deed and since the amount is a not up to 50% of the POF. Shouldn't be much of an issue even if its a friend. But I prefer the first option. Better to say it as it is and attach all the evidence. Eitherway, there is no need to rush like bigfido said. Just calm down and make sure the application is in order. Opotuniti: |

Just to add to this. It wouldn't hurt to read some of the professor's previous research and mention some of the things you gained grom their work and how you feel they can help you when sending your mail to them. I noticed i started getting responses from them when I started doing this. Some even gave me pointers on potential data sources, past research in my area, what can be improved or areas that should be considered which have been helpful. I should mention i applied mostly to Australian and New Zealand schools. Eitherway, it doesn't hurt to learn as much as possible about potential supervisor and their track records academically and supervisory wise. If they feel you are worth it, a lot would fight for you at the admission panel. The major issue I've had so far is that most of them don't have funding for international students. But now that I have PPR shouldn't be an issue for Canada salford1: 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Hi all. I'm curreny awaiting COPR. Please does anyone have any idea what the prospect is for a Credit Analyst. I'm looking at Ontario but so far the jobs I've seen require one to be bi-lingual. I only have A2 DELF certificate in French which is quite basic. I also don't mind if you have any information on other province. I'm looking at landing in April. |

I got points for it and both parent's names were on our birth certificates. If yours doesn't you can try to get other documents to show relationship. Furthermore, chances are your sister/ brother declared you as a sibling when filing for PR- so they will double check this information before confirming it as correct. Algbenguze: |

Thanks so much. I really appreciate. The duties seem similar. I hope it doesn't matter that he works in a bank? The HR is still insisting management approval to deal for something that can easily be sorted. Also, what if he gets HR to state the NOC code in the letter while maintaining the current JD. would it also work? Newmum0615: |

Please I would appreciate any help cos he has gone back to HR has suggested earlier and they are talking about management approval. As far as I am concerned its just a polite way of saying no. Newmum0615: |

Hi all! Please ur help is needed. I'm actually asking for a friend. He has 2 yrs experience as a Value Chain Officer in a bank where he acts as a liaison between the market facing team and big telecommunications and cement firms to exploit the value chain opportunities in their processes. Pre-ITA he selected NOC 6235. However when he got his reference letter this was what was stated. Job title: Collections and Value Chain Officer 1. Attending joint marketing calls with marketers 2. Signing on new Mandates for the bank to be a participating bank in relevant schemes by Telecommunication, Sugar, Flour and cement companies 3. Provide relevant background information, market intelligence and relevant government policy analysis to aid market facing team 4. Provide input into development of products that have high value proposition and unique market differentiation 5. Review existing products for continuous development 6. Regularly monitor performance of market facing units in the respective products in line with set targets With this I am not sure 6235 still suffices. We have gone through the NOC codes and can't find which to use and we sent a mail to the NOC email but they gave us a standard response. Please seniors in the house kindly help |

Hi all! Please i need clarification on something. I have a father in Canada but we haven't spoken in a while since he relocated there some years back. Because i can't get d document required to prove relationship to him i stated NO to the question asking if we have relatives in canada. So i didn't claim points for him Post ITA i am being asked the same question and i responded no. However there is a portion where we are required to list all immediate family members not stated on the application. I think for background checks. Can i state his name and where he lives then write a letter of explanation to explain why i didn't claim points for him? Does it count as misrepresention? Seniors in the house abeg help me |
