the guy doesn't speak matured actually. He thinks everything about life starts and ends with his tribe. Even if a leader is from your family, be matured and honest enough to talk to power when they fail. For him it's either Tinubu and Yoruba or nothing, forgetting that it's just a matter of time another tribe will take over power.

As at today, today has a maximum of 7yrs to rule this country, and for each passing day, his stay in Aso rock is reducing. Humility is vital in life.

The same way Obi's stay in Anambra government house was reducing when he allowed doctors to go on strike for more than one year. Hahahaha. Go and tell your family. Sorry I forgot today is not Monday

This nairaland agbadorians are really pathetic. The whole street of Nigeria is deserted that alone should tell u that the government will lose massively if ppl boycott work for a whole week. Banks and government offices are not open and u clowns here are opening various threads to mock protesters. Even NLC can't command this massive compliance which tells u it's already a win for the masses. U guys should be worried about ur august stipends cos if it continues like this uns go chop sand this month.

You are the most pathetic. Someone from far away finland is giving order of stay at home to the whole region and you never said that you and your people are losing massively. Government is not saying you should not stay at home but dont come out and destroy things. You can even declare to stay at home for the whole year. Who cares?

If tinubu is not careful this will lead to a cataclysmic revolution

As long as it is limited to Benin or alaigbo, no one cares. You can even declare stay at home for months in your region, it is your right. But if you try nonsense in Lagos, you will collect wotowoto

Politics / Re: Northern Elders Lay Seven Demands Before Tinubu, Back #endbadgovernanceinnigeria by Omoyorubatooto: 1:27am On Aug 01
RenaissanceGuy:
Who told you many northern groups didn't condemn Buhari's govt again and again and again?? Even the fiery youth wing president of ACF that I thought ordinarily APC would buy over, was a very big critic of Buhari. It's like when Tinubu's tenure is over and then some people start saying that Yoruba people never spoke out against Tinubu's govt. That's short memory.

So why didnt they protest during endsars? Continue to deceive yourself

African mentality. In a saner democracy, a non performing president or prime minister throw in the towel if he knows he cannot stem the tide of negative happenings or lived up to expectations of the citizens and not to wait for the next election.

Many leaders that have done that in the past. Few are here before you start your normal argument.
1. Brazil's Dilma Rousseff
2. USA's Richard Nixon
3. UK's Margaret Thatcher
4. Japan's Shinzo Abe: After serving just a year as Japan's Prime Minister, Abe resigned from his post in 2007 after low approval ratings and scandals amongst several government ministers.
5. South Africa's Thabo Mbeki: He resigned in 2008 after his party asked him to.
6. Russia's Boris Yeltsin: The Russian President announced his resignation on New Year's Eve in 1999, putting then-Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in charge. During the announcement, Yeltsin apologized for failing to live up to early expectations as the architect of Russia's new democracy.

You should know that Nigeria is not saner. If Nigeria is a saner clime, how come one useless man will be giving the whole region an order forcing them to stay at home every monday and the whole region obeys him. How can that happen in a saner clime

But Simon Ekpa keeps on suppressing your people forcing them to stay at home on Mondays. When will he lose at the end?

Please why do we have many fools citing their rights to protest in the constitution but they never cited the same to one useless Simon Ekpa who has been giving them orders to stay at home every Monday? Is that order not against the constitutions? Oh it is easy to obey Ekpa than the courts? Hahahaha Wonders shall never end

It is better for court to do its work than one useless Ekpa from Finland to be giving orders to your parents on how to live their lives like staying at home on Monday or is that not against the constitution? And why do you obey?

I hope that Igbos who are vowing not to participate in the protests will not be the one to cry more than the bereaved if eventually it leads to violence and people are killed. It will be a shame to Igbos who are online warriors if eventually most of their people are caught in the crossfire as we all know that Obi has declared that they should go to war

We all know if South West is a country there is no how they would vote Tinubu as president

North would not have given Buhari 8 years if they were independent

So you see being together is holding everyone back

Nigerians are weird people

Most Nigerians would be ok if they earn 20k a month as long most people earn lower
Than earn 2 million when most people earn same

Something is fundamentally wrong with most Nigerians

But you think a man with 3rd class degree whose only achievement in office was investing in beer business under whose doctors went on strike for more than one year will be voted by the South East? Hahahaah Wonder shall not end

Hunger
Starvation

And other calamitous economic policies that have been churned out daily by the calamitous Tinubu regime.

The same hunger, starvation and the rest will receive bullet if they start to destroy things

This 👆🏼 is the tribalism card.

Are they telling us there are no miscreants in their state or land that could decide to use a peaceful protest to cause anarchy? So any miscreant that decides to cause chaos on the day of protest is a ''NON STATE ACTOR''.

They love to use this card against Nigerians because they know how effective it is.

They will not be the first to use it. Obi used it to get 99% vote in Igbo land. So what is the big deal if Obi could use it

We must avoid giving Made in South West Agberos opportunity to destroy Igbo people's businesses as they did in EndSars. No protest in Lagos.
As a No man's land, Lagos should serve it's purpose as a jewel embellished by the oil from Niger delta and hardwork of men of East, West and North.

And who was that useless terrorist giving his people the order during endsars to destroy Lagos like chinasa did to burn the BRT buses? Any useless person caught this time in burning things in Yoruba land should not be allowed to go back home alive. You can protest but do not destroy
Politics / Re: Protest: Don’t Come Out To Protest Or Else- Area Boys Seen Issuing Warning (Vid) by Omoyorubatooto: 4:53pm On Jul 30
They did not ask you not to protest. All they are saying is that do not protest in Lagos as you did during endsars. If you are from Lagos you are safe but if you are not from SW but want to destroy things in Lagos, you may not go back home alive. I think everything is fair in protest
