You can present both passports. You are still very much in order because the first passport is less than 6 months to expiration. It is advised to renew your passport within 6 months before expiration (which you have done). Simply let the immigration officers know that one of the passports is already close to expiration. The 2 passports should be presented in Nigeria and elsewhere. babs4all: 1 Like |

I believe strongly that human beings should not wait until the verge of their transition periods before they realize that something drastic has to be done. Preparation for good jobs ought to start from the first day a student gets admission into the higher instituition of learning. Many Nigerians are fond of waiting till the last moment (final year, in most cases) before they realise that life is not a bed of roses, |

well, the straight answer is no. you see, banks hardly value other security documents these days. Your NYSC document has no capital (asset) value. don't deceive yourself. Good luck

Okay! Let's have it this way, shall we? Foremost, getting a job is not as difficult as you think. You probably did not play your cards well, Getting a good job in a very competitive world such as ours requires a lot- far more than skills and experience. Here are my suggestions. 1. Re-package yourself. When seeking a quality (high paying job), you are not expected to sell yourself as a job seeker. NEVER PRESENT YOURSELF AS A JOB SEEKER. I honestly do not think that any organisation would be willing to grant a labour opportunity to 'job seekers'. They are not philantrophists, They simply need smart individuals who can practically become an asset to the company. Their major focus right now is PROFIT!!! Question. How do you intend to increase their leverage in the market place? How do you intend to develop their competitive value? How do you intend to boost their profit margins? What plans do you have to shift their brand positioning? Many more questions will be asked, One more secret. Perception is key in your job search. Please, change your email address. Ensure it is very presentable and professional. Good luck.

Fellow nairalanders, frankly speaking (or writing), I think Nigerians have to be thoroughly "schooled" about seeking for or acquiring quality jobs. (High paying ones, ofcourse) The good news is that there are hundreds and even thousands of quality jobs here in Nigeria in all sectors of the economy waiting to be "grabbed" by "armed men". The cardinal challenge faced by many of our employers is contingent upon the premise that majority of our graduates are ill- equipped (mentally, professionally and socially) for the tasks ahead of them. Friends, 3 basic things (amongst others) are essential here: 1. Personal Inventory 2. Your Prospective Employer's inventory 3. Your Professional Disposition. When you are armed with these essentials, you are half done with getting the job. Ogas and Madams, please, I've got to go now, Got some work to do. |

Statistics tell us that the job market is vastly transforming. People are changing jobs in the course of their careers more often than ever before. Many companies are becoming more “automated” and the global economy is forcing companies to “downsize,” or "right size" resulting in lost jobs and unemployment. As a matter of fact, today’s job market is more fiercely competitive than ever. That is why in today’s market you need a serious edge, a competitive advantage to stand out. Having a topnotch CV is still vital, but you will need more than a CV to get your dream job. You will need a well-crafted cover letter that demonstrates how your skills can be used to your target company’s advantage. You must be equipped with an overall knowledge of your field in general and a deep insight of your target company in particular in order to ace an interview. In today’s market you must also have an e-resume replete with significant keywords A word they say is enough for the wise. ![]()

my guy, the cardinal consideration here is to research into the oil company. the size of an organisation does not really matter as regards pursuing a fulfilling career. If oil servicing is your thing, then go for it. career fulfillment has a better weight than a fat pay package. think thoroughly before you leap. there are other prospects in the future. Luck |

Education! Education! Education! Quite frankly, education will give you a better leverage. Education has more value than money. Money only has temporary value. Education speaks far more than money. Education defines you far more than money. Any body can have money!!! Not everybody can have a good education. Think long term!!!!!! Cheers. |

My friend. It takes time. I don't think you have to be bothered by their replies yet, Well, come to think of it, the depth of your worth will inspire MTN to call you immediately. Good luck |

Honestly speaking (or typing), i don't think the pay is necessary for now as a corper, what you should consider should be gaining a wonderful learning experience. It's a hard truth! Good luck |

I believe that it is not enough to apply for the job. there is a wide difference between being a job applicant and a job candidate. |
