Rochas is not dwelling on the past or trying 2 copy any style of governance. He is being very creative. My prayer is that his experiments will yield good results. It will be mindblowing and a model system. Wish Rochas the best. For those who think that Special adviser on entertainment is worthless, please think again. By the time they start rolling out entertainment programs, owerri will be center of attraction. How about corporate body sponsorship and the money that culd be raised in all these entertainment programs, it will add to the coffins of the state.'Imo ga a di nma'. 'Rochas on a rescue mission' |
Politics / Re: Why Is Abia God's Own State? by onyeokwuak(f): 10:40am On Jul 27, 2011 |
Abia would ave bn the best if not that it has suffered over 12yrs of visionless ,selfish leadership. But inspite of these problems, the people of Abia are great worshipers of God. The presence of God will not depart from Abia for the fact that the state is named after God.Thank God we ave a hope of seeing a purposeful leadership from now considering the new economic blue print drafted by the ''Abia think tank'' which the governor has promised to strictly follow. Abia has gone thru thorough cleansing by God. Now is the time to watch out for Abia ''God's own state" 1 Like |

Lagos affairs is a very important office. Imo indegenes are in their great numbers in Lagos and I think this office will link them to the govnt house so that they will have a say in the affairs of their state. Rochas Okorocha govt according to him is operating a grassroot govt. I think these numbers of SA s will help him achieve that. This grassroot governance whereby you dont need to come to the govt house owerri, but govt offices in every community where imo people are found, is a new innovation. Owelle is mobilizing every brain in imo. |
Politics / Re: Lagos Flood: Acn Condemns ‘uncaring’ Jonathan For Not Visiting Lagos by onyeokwuak(f): 3:51pm On Jul 19, 2011 |
Please Nairalanders let's be optimistic that things will finally go well for this country. Its too early for us to be calling our president names. He didn't visit lag but he acted. He must ave communicated to the Lagos state govt concerning the issue.Once again it is too early for us to condemn him.Its only about 2 months now he assumed office and the cabinet members are being constituted. They ave not held the first cabinet meeting. As for me i am very optimistic that GEJ will deliver no matter what we say. He will touch our lives in the way we have envisaged by God's grace. Lets wish our president and our country well. Things will go well for this country. If this must happen , all of us must put hand on deck and say 'Naija no go spoil' |
Sports / Re: Adidas Jabulani: The Controversial World Cup Ball by onyeokwuak(f): 9:25am On Jun 17, 2010 |
That ball is the worst ever used. I mean it is obvious that the ball is making mess of players an goal keepers. The ball moves very fast, hard to control and goes anywhere it likes.Enyeama complained about it during the nations cup when it was test runned. I wonder why players will not unanimiously agree that the ball should not be used. I mean players should have to approve it b4 use since they are the ones using them not FIFA officials |
Sports / Re: How I Stopped Messi –enyeama by onyeokwuak(f): 10:07am On Jun 15, 2010 |
Enyeama is one of the best keepers in the world. He won the best player award in Isreali league. And has been consistent in international matches. He has conceded the least of goals in his career at super eagles. No let Oyibo dey decieve u.They consider there own players first b4 the African players.Watching Enyeama comparing him with Casilas, Enyeama is a better keeper. Some of u go say na lie, bocs Casilas na Oyibo.Inferiority complex don kill ina finish.TAAAAAAAAA! |
Politics / Re: Sanusi: Jonathan Backs CBN Reform Agenda by onyeokwuak(f): 3:17pm On Jun 09, 2010 |
I dont think it is a bad idea for banks to go into other financial business like mortgage and insurance, etc. The banks have the money now and they can venture into other things and creat employment oppurtunities which i think we have achieved since 2000. I am begening to dislike Sanusi's econmic policies cos they have heightened unemployment in Nigeria. In one of his reasons for scrapping universal banking, he said that banks will not concentrate on there services in commercial banking. But i want to disagree with him owing to the fact that these banks have different management for each institution , so wont affect them. As far as am concerned, universal banking encourages employment. If the banks dont establish these other bodies, who will |
Politics / Re: Robbers Threaten To Invade Banks In Abia by onyeokwuak(f): 12:50pm On Jun 09, 2010 |
I wept for Abia, the land of my birth the moment i realised that OUK is an illiterate, visionless, childish in thinking , a tout and had a devil adviser in the person of His Satan mother. No wonder in his days ,every sector of Abia economy recorded minuses and it is not surprising that his successor, an old man of little brain, would do the worse. Presently Abia is in Boundage held by the kingdom of darkness chaired by OUK'S mother. It is a sordid state affairs that the government of Abia is manned by the worst people in Abia. The trend will definitely continue until this PPA led government is unseated. |

Politics / Re: Obj Is Bad Yes, But He's Still Nigeria's Best Ever President. No Contest by onyeokwuak(f): 9:56am On May 25, 2010 |
OBJ is unaguaguebly the best president so far. Join me lets go down the memory lane. Electric power is one of Nigerians socio economic problems that was why he started building more power stations knowing that the voltage power stations were generating then were not sufficient. You can agree with me that He had built new power stations and had others under construction before Yaradua came on board. One of the things that deregulation of tele communication brought about , during his time ,was mass employment with the advent of multinational companies like MTN.It also paved the way for our indeginious companies to strive. Its obvious that GLO and others are striving. OBJ foreign policies opened way for a more economic regional integration of west African states. You can also agree with me that , many Nigerians are expanding there businesses network now to Ghana and other countries of west Africa. Debt forgiveness. Bank reforms which brought about bank's restrengthening and more employment. The stock market would have been booming till now if not the global crisis. Fight against corruption my establishing EFCC and ICPC. nO MATTER HOW U C IT, THEY ARE STILL WORKING AS ANTI CORRUPTION BODIES. I can write a full book on the success story of Obj regime. There is no doubt, we experienced economic boom.if u didnt, na u cause am. I hope u were not waiting for govt to spoon- feed u. Who knows the economic boom we would have been experiencing if they had allowed the last econmic policy(DEREGULATION OF OIL DOWNSTREAM SECTOR), he introduced to live. Do u think we have had it like this b4 ? U better think well |
Sports / Re: 7 Players To Be Dropped From Super Eagles Squad by onyeokwuak(f): 2:37pm On May 17, 2010 |
You guys think Mikel is the catalyst. Let me tell u that the greatest catalyst in Nigeria now is Sani Kaita. The role of marking out Messi and his likes will be conviniently handled if Sani Kaita makes the list. Etuhu is not too good as to be compared with Kaita and Mikel. But it looks Mikel is not fully fit. Lagerback prefers skillful players (skimmers) so i think Obasi might be inn and utaka ,out.Utaka's current psych worries me sometimes it looks childish displaying it with the ball.Kanu is undobtedly inn cos he is fit, intelligent ,clever, a model, plays attack and midfield, can pose a threat against any oponent cos of his magics.we need yobo's experience which will also be morale booster for other defenders. Aiyegbeni is the worst player but he can also be a threat at the goal mouth.I think experience is very important at the midfield ,thats why lack of much experience might see Haruna out. LETS WATCH AND C. |

It might not be far from the truth if i say that the 15 suspects might be 15 innocent people who are ignorant of such.Or they could be 15 suspects of other crimes committed elswhere paraded by police as suspect of the case in question so as to play to the Gallery. ''Nigerian Police, Den of highest level of corruption'' . I have always said that unless Nigerian police do the right, thing, democracy in Nigeri cannot strive. |
Sports / Re: Lagerback Wants To Work With 'legend' Kanu by onyeokwuak(f): 11:10am On Apr 09, 2010 |
It seems we have a lot of mannerless kith and kins in nairaland judging by the way they choose there words against a lagend. Let me tell u that no matter what u say, Lagerback will watch Kanu train with other super Eagles players, one touch on the ball will ignite an irrisistable interest in Lagerback. Kanu is great , he is not too old not to play, he is fit. Some of u have not watched him recently, KANU IS STILL VERY FIT TO PLAY EVEN AFTER THIS WORLD CUP. Any time i watch him, i love football.Go and ask Nicolas Anelka and other players about Kanu |
Family / Re: Earn 40,000 Monthly Can I Get Married. by onyeokwuak(f): 1:52pm On Mar 04, 2010 |
A good woman can manage 40,000.00 and still have balance. Let me give u a rough stimate of monthly spending 1. Transportation for a month = 5000 2 Feeding = 15000 3. Monthly house rent = 5000 4. tithe = 4000 And others This is an overestimation of what 40k can achieve. It is possible that if more carefully managed , the salary is more than enough for husband and wife. Out of it they can make savings and plan for there unborn children's education. My brother, it is manageable until God enlarges your coast |
Sports / Re: 'Quit Now!' Okocha Urges Kanu by onyeokwuak(f): 10:55am On Jan 19, 2010 |
Papilo an excellent, intelligent player anyday anytime even at old age.Come to think of it, how old do u think kanu is.Have u guys watched kanu recently in Portsmouth. When did the Okocha retire ? For your information kanu is still as young as to play for Nigeria even in the nxt 10 years. The reason why mostof u think he should resign is because his Nigerian teammates have all resigned.Likes of Babayaro would have bn still playing. But what keeps kanu going is God,character and talent. If u have watched kanu recently,u will understand that he is a football magician. All his club football career, kanu has spent more of it sitting on the bench. But when ever he comes in, the difference is there. His height is just the disadvantage. I am not disputing the fact that he has added years, but its not yet his time to resign. Give him sometime to play, u will c a more organised super eagles |
Politics / Re: Who Wins The Worst Governor Of The Year Awaed? by onyeokwuak(f): 10:30am On Dec 17, 2009 |
Abia state government since 1999 is the worst ever. The governors since then, dont know what good governance is.They have been amansing wealth for Orji Uzor and his mother.Appointment since then has always been recommende d or scrutuinized by mama. The government since then accounts for mama.In these years , the state has recorded minuses in industrialization as many companies have collapsed or left considering there exploitative principles.Aba which used to be an economic hurb ,is now poor in activity.A place like Aba where people work very hard , there is no government presence. I even heard tha there Mama has aquired more than half of Ariaria International Market. What more will i say, will i talk about the appoimtment of his small son as the chief of staff controlling every money that comes in. ''Ndia egbuola Abia. Abia state government is the worst |

Politics / Re: Abia State 1st Lady Most Wanted By Efcc by onyeokwuak(f): 3:31pm On Nov 19, 2009 |
This has been the tradition of the government of Abia state since 1999.There intention has been to go there and syphone the public money into there on pockets via forreign account. They have never had good vision for the state. They only want to make money and make name for themselves.Nothing to show. The state that practice 'Mamacracy' (ask me wat it means). The money they are looking for could be traced to the 'big mama' Visionless, corrupt, nonsense government in Abia state since 1999 |
Politics / Re: Nigerian Newspapers Are Waste Of Money by onyeokwuak(f): 2:28pm On Nov 13, 2009 |
The print media, the radio and television stations have failed us.They have contributed a lot in confusing Nigerians. They dont balance there reports , they are mannerless in there presentations. They have created programmes where people say all kinds of thing in the air,if well investigated may not be true about others. Normally any report from any media house should be swallowed hook line and sinker, but in the case of Nigerian journalist , we dont know who to beleive .This loss for money has made mess of almost every profession in Nigeria(journalism at the fore front). The way forward should be that the Nigerian legal system be very strict on every report , purnishing evry reporter who makes seditious and false reports. |
Politics / Re: Thisday Corrects Self On "Pastor Adeboye's" Jet by onyeokwuak(f): 5:14pm On Apr 02, 2009 |
There is a certian stage you will reach in life having a jet will not be a luxury rather a neccessary.Pastor Adebayo is a very busy pastor attending programs and planting churches in and outside the country.Do you think it will be easy to do these works with the rigorous protocols of getting flight reservations and going through routes to get to these places of mission. He will defenitely need a jet to be able to do the job well.I think God approves it.whether he bought it or his members, thank God a jet is available. It will help speed up Gods work. I think the press are begining to abuse their freedom of speech, they need to be checked. They are not yet disciplined. It looks like i will open an office checking their excesses. afterall , its an employment oppurtunity that can make one go to bank everyday. Press beware ! |

The way Nigerians think and talk affect their results.Befor the match many Nigerians including the Niiralanders had already condenmed and accepted defeat for Their Super Eagles.Should i say here that mahy Nairalanders contributed to the failure. How will u parade feared players like Uche Obafemi,Mikel and others and expect not to perform well. These discouraging comments reach those players,a nd it goes a long way in discouraging them.No matter what u say or do ,u are a Nigerian and Super Eagles fan.Being a fan is supportung your team when they are going up or down |
Sports / Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by onyeokwuak(f): 11:40am On Mar 30, 2009 |
Football game has chaged a lot .These days you can hardly find push- overs teams.Mozambique and super Eagles are good teams playing against each other. The two teams created good chances. But i think Mozambique is a bit luckier having been used to playing on that kind of pitch.Nigerians! lets say the truth,If u have ever played on a pitch that when u overlapp , the pitch draws the ball back ,or when u try to play a shot, the teeth of the grass draws the ball back and many others,it will definitely not bring out the best performance in you .The pitch played a major role in the performance of the super eagles. Do u think Oba goal would have missed those scoring chances ordinarily. If u have eyes, then u will believe me,then if u dont have eyes, then u r among those Nigerians who dont reason b4 they talk. |

Nigerians should begin to see the rebranding of Nigeria from the angle of being supportive to Nigeria's programs and sports teams.Lets stop being negative lets be positive in every aspect I give a hundred percent support for the Super Eagles when they play on sunday. We have great players.
