Politics / Re: Ekweremadus: Those people can kill me, I want to remain in the UK - Nwamini by Onyxnaija: 1:59pm On May 06, 2023
Poor boy. You came to the Uk and turned on the people who you agreed to transact business of organ donation. How does he think he’ll excel? He could have discussed with the people who brought him to Uk to allow him roam free and try his luck at ‘making’ it there. Perhaps even ask them for some seed money. It would have been more honourable. The Uk government used him to mess the Ekweremmandu’s up. As Nigerian politicians who have played a big part in destroying the nation, Mr Ekweremmadu deserves his downfall. However he’s very little compared to the big thieves who have ruined this nation the most. This young man’s behaviour has shown that the problem of Nigeria is Nigerians. Therefore Nigeria will never be well. It is doomed and will only be worse.

Education / Re: I Feel Ashamed Nigerian Professors Earn Less Than $1000 A Month - TETFund Boss by Onyxnaija: 11:04pm On Jul 18, 2022
Take your shame somewhere else. Do Nigerian professors shop or pay their bills in dollars? When did the legal tender in Nigeria become dollars? These sort of comments are part of the reason ASUU goes on strike for half of the year. How come the US govt doesn’t say to professors in their country that ‘we pay you 7 million Naira a month’. It’s ridiculous, have you compared the cost of housing in the two countries? Or Cost of other commodities? This one side comparison Nigerians make against the dollar is the reason things are way too expensive in Nigeria today. Land sellers peg prices to match property prices in New York, Atlanta or Sydney Australia without considering the stark economic difference between Nigeria and these other economies. Food bills are so high in Nigeria now, that it’s scary to imagine how majority of the population are able to cater for themselves and their families.
I’m conclusion, these sort of comments show that these people are out of touch and should not be given air time .

Family / Re: My Friend Needs Help, Six Children No Male Child? by Onyxnaija: 9:27pm On May 16, 2022
[quote author=Kayberg post=112855778]Getting married is not an issue, but being ignorant of some things is the issue.

Tell your friend to mark the menstrual cycle of his wife for 3 months, divide the days by 3; the result is her cycle.
Then count 7 days after her period ends, lay with her, get yourself a son.

Or better still, note her ovulation day. Lay her that day.[/quote

Wrong!!!!! Follow this and you’ll still have another daughter. Ovulation kits exist, get one! Once you detect ovulation, lay with your wife within 12 hrs. Before then, ensure you have protected sex with her frequently so you always have fresh semen in you. Don’t abstain from ejaculation for more than 3 days.
Doggy style ensures semen is deposited closest to the cervix, so they can swim to the egg.
Lastly, pray to God that all these efforts will give you the don you crave.
Health / Re: 632 Nigeria-Trained Doctors Practising In Canada As Of 2020 by Onyxnaija: 8:18am On Feb 17, 2022
Brain drain? What are these people talking about? Currently there is an over supply of doctors at every level in Nigeria. Therefore if anyone of them finds his or her way out of the country to greener pastures, then they should be celebrated. Do you know the level of unemployment, underemployment and poverty in our country Nigeria? Many Nigerians living abroad are helping their not so capable relatives in Nigeria with medical bills, feeding and accommodation, and other essential services that the Nigerian government should be providing but fail to. So instead of vilifying these bold men and women, they should be commended for the foreign exchange and support they provide. They are essentially services that Nigeria exports to the rest of the world. Mind you the number of Nigerian doctors abroad pales in number when you consider the number from the Indian subcontinent, bearing in mind that they ate also leading in the export of IT professionals to the rest of the world. Abeg enough of the noise about brain drain, first provide adequate employment to all the doctors currently registered to practice in Nigeria who are looking for jobs and then brain drain can be discussed.

Religion / Re: What's The Biggest Miracle You Ever Received From GOD? by Onyxnaija: 1:43pm On Jan 16, 2022
I am a walking miracle. However one of the greatest miracles of God that I have experienced is being resuscitated back to life after I collapsed. I remember feeling funny a few seconds before the incident and reciting psalm 91 vs 16, and then screaming out the name of Jesus. Next thing I know I came to lying on the floor with people around me making frantic efforts to resuscitate me for what I was told was about 20 minutes. I will give God all the glory for giving me a second chance at life. I’m also thankful to all the people HE used to accomplish His purpose for my life that day.
I hope this helps someone who is having doubts about God’s existence and the validity of His word, to know that God is real and very interested in all of us. God loves us all regardless of our beliefs.

Education / Re: My Daughter Was Bullied At Faith Academy, Abuja & Sexually Assaulted - Parent by Onyxnaija: 10:11pm On Dec 07, 2021
I went to a boarding school myself. 3 hours away from my home and the local language was also different from my native tongue, so I didn’t understand anything anyone said. It was an all girls school, and I started at 11 years old. Our seniors were strict but not wicked. The most they did was ask us to kneel down for a few minutes. Flogging was conducted by teachers when I started but by the time I graduated it was only done in very serious cases of rule violation, with approval from the principal and in the presence of the entire school. There were no cults or any of this nonsense we’re hearing about today. All we cared about was academic excellence, hence we have loads of our old girls all over the world doing great things today. Mind you it was not a Christian school, but a FGGC. Yes, some people didn’t like others for all kinds of reasons they felt justified their emotions, but no physical abuse was rendered as a result.
This Dowen College issue is not particular to that school and should not be seen as that. It is a symptom of a larger problem in our Nigeria. All of us calling for the heads of the perpetrators of Sky’s murder (and rightly so) should examine ourselves to find out what we can do to rid ourselves of this mob mentality, this callousness that has made cultism thrive so well in our nation that it has gotten into our primary and secondary schools. If nothing is done to reorientate ourselves, then these sort of murders will continue. Mind you Sly may not be the first victim of such murder in our secondary schools, his case has been made prominent because his family had access to social media and know how to use it. A thorough investigation into cultism in our primary and secondary schools may reveal some shocking statistics.
My heartfelt condolences to Sky’s family. I pray this case is not derailed by people seeking popularity.

Family / Re: Could He Have Ulterior Motives By Disagreeing To This? Should I Opt Out? by Onyxnaija: 10:31pm On Dec 04, 2021
Mercychen:
Hi fam.

Something has been bothering me of late and leaving me emotionally and mentally stressed and drained for the past weeks and I'm cut between the devil and the deep blue sea.

There's this bro we're trying to see if we can work things out. though, I never really wanted anything relationship again or at least for now until I'm decided later in the future on what I really want for myself.

Before, I delve into the main discuss , let
me quickly highlight how it all started.

Some months back, My publisher came to deliver the books I ordered for. So while sorting the books, he just got teasing me like " Babes, na wa o. What's up with your romantic life now?. I've never seen you pulling with anyone. It's always work, biz Money money money I see you pursuing. Lol... I just told him, guy, free me abeg and I went on counting the books at the boot of his car.

He now walked up to me and said, on a more serious note, what is happening? So I told him it's a personal choice cos I dont have the strength for relationship brouhaha now. He agreed with me that truly its not easy and even as a married man, he too feels the heat but the good thing is, he married in the Lord. So I should choose wisely from among the brethren.

So he said, he has this family friend, an eligible bachelor, who wants a decent lady and I'm the one that comes to mind each time the guy mentions it because since he's be dealing with me, he can vouch that I'm a very honest, hard-working and decent lady. So he would want the bro to have me.
That was how I got to meet bro.

Now fastforward to the main reason of this post.
There was this particular day we tripped out to cool off and discuss about US. So we got talking and planning on how to build our home in a way that we will not be caught unawares with some setbacks and unplanned responsibilities. So the issue of children came up and I suggested we have only one, which he reluctantly accepted after much convincing. So we tried to look at ways we can maintain that decision and I suggested a vasectomy. citing the possibilities of health risks (as a result of mismatches ) and failures that might occur if the family planning is done on me but with vasectomy, no issues. He looked me in the eyes and said, "my darling" no!

I was dumbfounded.... And became a little worried because, if he has no plans of having more children, why would he kick against the idea of a vasectomy?

If we are going to be one and follow one course, why shying away from a plan that will benefit us as a couple and a family?

Could it be, he only agreed to have one with me and plans to have more else where?
Is vasectomy a life threatening condition?

I was still trying to wrap my head around his refusal, when he said, it will be done on you ( the family planning). That instant, I felt all alone, like im on my own. So I told him I needed to cool off, and he said feel free.
I left the tent and went to the waters prentending to be playing with the water. He came and dragged me out of the water. we strolled without a word and I asked him to take me home. He did.

He called when he got home. I was cold to him so, he promised to call again but since then Ive refused to pick his calls or reply his texts.

The big question is ..
WHY DID HE BLUNTLY REFUSE A VASECTOMY?

COULD HE HAVE ULTERIOR MOTIVES?

IS IT NOT BETTER TO OPT OUT NOW THAN PRETEND I DIDN'T GET THE MESSAGE AND END UP IN REGRETS?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN A MAN KICKS AGAINST VASECTOMY?

You are a very unreasonable, selfish, and unrealistic person. Please stay single forever! Do not go and bring pain and suffering to an innocent man.
What happened to meeting someone halfway? Must everything end the way you like it or hell breaks loose? The nerve you have asking a man to become sterile because YOU want only one child. Please pull your head out of your books and face the real world, you are asking somebody’s son for too much. I bet you wouldn’t want your son to do the same under such circumstances. I pray the guy sees the light and runs a billion miles away from you and your insecure, selfish self . Onye ara!

Health / Re: The Doctors Want To Amputate My Mum's Leg. Advice Needed by Onyxnaija: 11:20pm On Nov 05, 2021
Spark2:
Hello NL.
I'm going to keep this brief.

It started three weeks ago. my mum, who was walking normal with no problem suddenly could not walk. Her left leg began paining her severely that day. My mum was all in tears... She was rushed to the hospital where it was discovered that her sugar level was on the high side. The hospital gave drugs which stabilised it, at that point my mum was very weak, couldn't eat, each time she eat she throws up and also had some pain in the leg still. After a week in the hospital, we were then referred to a teaching hospital after a test showed that creatinine in her kidney was high.

The teaching hospital tried their best and I can say my mum is now okay. Except for the left leg. She can't still walk on it, the leg feels cold to touch with a little discolouration above the foot.

Doppler test showed that blood isn't really flowing through the leg. And they said they will need to amputate the leg to prevent the infection from growing to the other parts of the body.

Please I want to know if you know anyone who had similar condition and amputation was recommended but was later healed without need for amputation.

Please share your recommendations. I need my mum now more than before in my life. We are confused on whether to allow them to go on with the amputation or seek other alternatives.

Thank you very much.

Pls note that as at now, her sugar level, creatinine and other things are normal.

Research compartment syndrome. I believe the diabetes finding was an incidental one. Sadly your mum looks like another victim of the bad system called Nigeria. At this stage amputation will be the best option and outcome as it seems her leg has been deprived of blood supply for too long, and tissues are no longer viable.

The irony of this is that these world leaders that are talking about climate change flew tens of thousands of miles, burning uncountable tonnes of carbon, to discus climate change. If they were really serious about climate change, they’d have done this meeting virtually. They have not told us the truth about climate change agenda. The impact of their travel to attend this meeting would have contributed significantly to the rise of the Earth’s temperature. I hope the world is prepared for the shakeup that the climate change agenda is posing to become. I believe in climate change, but I don’t buy the measures that are being suggested because they still increase carbon emission and green house effect. Still waiting on realistic suggestions.

I understand where you're coming from.

A homosexual probably thinks everyone is also homosexual and it's a matter of time before all of us come out of the closet.

Whether you think I'm homosexual or not is your personal problem.

The basis of my conclusion is not based on religion or my sexual orientation which you seem to know all about.

Just jumping like kangaroo into conclusions.

Did I mention religion in my first post? Or did I tell you I'm Christian? I'm struggling here not to use any insulting words on you but you make it hard.

You think because of the fear of being labeled as one of you we'd stop condemning what's wrong?

Sexual or romantic attraction to someone of the same gender is a particular kind of psychological disorder.

Glorifying it won't change that medical fact.

Denying it means that you don't think of getting professional help. The earlier you acknowledge your problem, the faster you'll realize you need help.

Australia is a largely racist country. The fact that they tolerate you and give you crumbs doesn't change that fact either.

You think highly of them because the average African falls over himself to get a smile from a white person. So I understand your position on that.

Again you’ve shown your ignorance with your misconceptions. You obviously have not set foot on any land outside of Nigeria or Africa, and it shows in your unrefined, antiquated views on life and your rush to condemn an entire nation. Furthermore, your reply has confirmed that you know nothing about Australia or it’s people, hence you are a complete waste of my time. Cheers

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Please don’t misinform and mislead people. Anyone, I repeat, anyone can suffer from severe / prolonged COVID regardless of previous health status. There’s no rhyme or reason to it.
Just curious, I hope you’re not a doctor or any other type of health professional. The boldness with which you’re spreading your misinformation is disturbing. Be careful so you don’t have blood in your hands.

First, don't believe all Twitter stories. Most of them are for clout chasing.

Second if it's true, then you should understand that Australia is a deeply racist country and any opportunity they have to deny you a visa, they will.

Third, homosexuality is evil. EVIL

There's nothing like "live and let live" here.

Are you homosexual? Often people who have such strong views about sexuality are, and feel like their outward display of hate toward people with same sex preference will move the spotlight away from them so they can practice their lifestyle ’safely’ in secrecy. So live and let live. If you claim to believe in God, then obey Him and allow Him be the judge. Christianity preaches love and tolerance, where in your post did you show love? He who has no sin, let him cast the first stone. Secondly, I’ve lived in Australia for over 10 years and will like for you to retract the statement calling Australians racist. The freedom that us Nigerian born people in Australia enjoy, we can never dream to have in Nigeria. So keep quiet and stop propagating lies. The same type of lies that have made a once peaceful Nigeria, a nightmare, where people from different tribes are intolerant of each other and resort to name calling at the drop of a hat. Shame on you, bigot.

Family / Re: Major Reasons Why Family Member Do Not Help Each Other. by Onyxnaija: 12:53am On Aug 07, 2021
This article is bloody waste of time. Probably written by an entitled person. First, no one owes anyone anything. Aside from one’s parents, there’s no obligation to help any other family member. Any help given to anyone, family or not, should be received with thanks and not with entitlement which has become a norm in many families and friendship circles. Black tax is the bane of many ‘successful’ people and have caused serious problems for them. Many family members have turned their successful brother/ sister into cash cows, while they refuse to work or trade claiming that there are no jobs or the ones they’ve found are beneath them. Some family members have gone on to marry and produce 4 to 5 children each, for the one successful family member to cater for. If the successful family member complains about the load , they blame his wife and even go as far a threatening his life. However we know this is not sustainable as what you people are calling help, is stifling the successful persons growth. I know people that have been receiving help for over 20 years still they have not progressed at all. No, there comes a time when the helper says he/she has had enough and needs to focus on his / her own children. Then the story will turn to that family member although very successful, never helped anyone. Abeg, Nigerian people help yourselves. Yes things are hard, but people are still making it in Nigeria. Parents teach your children not to be entitled and that no one owes them nothing. That way, they’ll always think of independence and appreciate everything you or anyone does for them. This entitlement is the root of all family problems in Nigeria. Ask yourself, you grew up in the same family with your successful brother/ sister, why are not successful too? Perhaps you misused your own opportunities or didn’t have your priorities right. Get off your lazy backside and look for something to do. As long as you have breathe in you, it’s not too late for you.

What a shame! How much reading and writing could you do when you were three? Assignment?! Give me a break please.
What you’ll end up doing is inflicting psychological trauma on that young child, and put him off reading and writing for life. He’ll associate studying with being yelled at / hit and that will not serve him or you well. Also you’re shattering his confidence, opening him up to a life of misery. At the age of 3, that child should be allowed to be a child. Concentrate more on his social skills and reassuring him of your support through life’s journey. He will eventually learn the school stuff. Be more vigilant to raise a happy and content child, that’ll not be a burden to you or society but make positive contributions to his generation. The world is already filled with many bitter / angry people, please start your child’s journey through life on a positive note. Hitting a 3 year old for any reason is unacceptable period!!!!!

Travel / Re: Returnees From Enugu, Port-Harcourt Test Positive For COVID-19 In Bauchi by Onyxnaija: 1:41am On May 01, 2020
Only a dreamer will believe that COVID-19 is not in every Nigerian state. In fact, it is in every nook and cranny of Nigeria. 50% of people infected with this virus will not experience a symptom, and most of the remainder will experience mild symptoms (similar to malaria and typhoid). Just a small number will experience severe symptoms of breathlessness, palpitations(cardiac issues) , kidney dysfunction etc. This small group is where most of the death toll emerges from. Therefore, many presentations to hospitals and chemists for malaria treatment are COVID-19 cases. Some will go ahead to die without being tested, so their deaths are not attributed to COVID-19. One could argue that since only a small number will die, why not open the country for business. This small number are people’s loved ones. There is no telling who will react badly or mildly or not all. Also studies are now revealing that many people who recovered from this virus are now experiencing chronic health issues secondary to this infection. This is not a burden that the almost non-existent health sector in the country can manage.

To stay safe in these times, best to treat everyone as a possible carrier. To keep others safe, assume you could also be a carrier and mask up, maintain social distancing and good hand hygiene.

I’m not fear mongering, but until a vaccine is found it’s going to be a hide and seek game with this virus.

Until Nigerians accept the prevalence of this virus in the country and take steps to protect themselves, the infection will rage on. Expect the number of new infections to get to thousands daily in the coming weeks.

This fight is at an individual level. Government cannot do this for anyone. Only the living will eat, go to a church building( you are the church and God is omnipresent), school and work.

The only thing that the government owes the people is to ramp up testing or permit private labs to begin testing, and provide isolation centres with adequate PPE supply. All positive cases isolated and managed.

I think the number of cases is a thousand times more than this, their are no kits to test people, the death toll is also way more than what is been written. The hospital I work in is the base of isolation in FCT, infected ones are dying, and it's not reflecting on NCDC statistics. China has already set presidence for reporting fake death toll, other countries are just following suit

Your conclusion is accurate. The death toll from COVID-19 in Nigeria and many countries is being grossly under reported. If you think that the number of people infected in Nigeria is less than 1000, then please wake up. It’ll be at least 10,000 infected cases and counting.

Testing is almost non-existent. A country of over 200 million and number of tests done till date is still under 10,000. The sooner people obey the social distancing and hand hygiene recommendations the earlier the curve will be flattened. Until then, this pandemic will take a lot of precious lives and maim even more.

Many people who recover from this terrible disease end up with residual cardiovascular, kidney or lung disease. COVID-19 is no joke! Do everything within your powers to prevent it. May God help us as we help ourselves.

Health / Re: 51 New Cases Of Coronavirus In Nigeria. Total 493. 17 deaths. 159 discharged by Onyxnaija: 1:07am On Apr 18, 2020
My fellow Nigerians I urge us all to take COVID-19 very serious. Look at Europe and the USA, and all other countries with significant number of cases. They all started off with low numbers for a few weeks, and then boom! the numbers rose at very increased pace which they’re still struggling to contain. Most of the developed countries in this category have superb testing protocols in place, In talking capability of testing Tens of thousands daily. Hence their tally of cases are somewhat reliable, albeit inaccurate still, due to asymptomatic cases. Nigeria’s testing rate compared to population size is almost zero. I’m not going to go into the reasons for this, as we all know.

Therefore, the best way to reduce casualties and buy time until a vaccine is found is social distancing and good hand washing techniques/ routine. Also if you think life will go back to the same without a vaccine, then my apologies. The restrictions in place at the moment are here to stay till further notice until a reliable vaccine is found.

As for those claiming all sorts regarding vaccine, please be careful who you listen to. Judge for yourself and take informed decision, without any sentiment. I guarantee you, the day the approved reliable vaccine gets into Nigeria, those GOs making noise now will be the first to use their connections to go get them for themselves and their families. As usual, the poor and those with no connections will be left to pay the price with their lives, after giving their monies to these tricksters in the name of tithe. I’m a born again Christian by the way, so don’t even go wailing “atheist”!

Also those who sell their votes for 1000 Naira/ small bag of rice, the chickens have come home to roost. I hope we learn a few things from this pandemic, one of which is that our vote is our voice and is worth a lot more than 1000 Naira. COVID-19 is a leveller , everyone is vulnerable; the rich, old, young, poor, Christian, Muslim, atheists etc.

I do understand that lack of funds is making an already hard system , harder. But you’re of no use to your family and loved ones dead. Your children and loved ones need you alive, please do what you can to stay safe.

If Nigerians don’t heed to the directive to isolate/ quarantine, sadly the USA numbers will be nothing.

I’ve been self isolating for about a month now, and we’re seeing the benefits here as the curve has flattened and we’re headed for zero cases soon, God willing. However we know that we still can’t relax as there is no vaccine.

As a Christian, I believe God already answered a huge part of our prayers regarding COVID-19 by giving scientists the wisdom to discover that social distancing and good hand hygiene can keep us safe, buying us time until a vaccine is found. Please heed the warning, and we will all rejoice at the end of it all, in the land of the living.

Ps: I don’t live in Nigeria, but a Nigerian forever.

Please avoid agents!!! Read about countries and their immigration rules and opportunities. Go to their immigration website and STUDY the routes available and their requirements. It’s spelt out in black and white. Only people with complicated immigration journeys require ‘agents’ and in this case they’re better served going to immigration lawyers.
So please weigh your family’s needs against your country of interest’s opportunities, then take it from there. Nobody can tell you the country to move to, but you.

You could try conceiving your children via IVF and the embryos genetically tested to know if they’re SS, and such embryos discarded before implantation. Then your wife can tie her tubes to avoid any accidents. My suggestion is extreme and costly, but the cost and effect of having a sickle cell anemic child is unprecedented.
Thankfully there’s a lot of research to find a cure for this disease and they’re making progress. I believe the next generation may not have to struggle with this issue.
All the best with your decision

l have tried to Know my wrong to him but he doesn't wanna tell me. l am in deep pains cos he has told me "that anytime l want to leave, that am free to do so".

On Monday, he came back around 12am, and l was worried till that time. He came back without explaination and l asked him, whether l am that invisible to him, and his reply was "if l am tired, that l should leave". l now replied, "if l have a child, will you send us out?" he didn't say anything but l know that his attitude is cos of that.

The day l had my Last miscarriage was in 2016, and the tears l had in My eyes was not about my baby but knowing that l will Not be loved again by my husband.

l am tired! l almost went Into depression, and sucide, cos of his attitude to me. l don't Know how to handle him, cos my presence irritates him.

Please Sound advice.

Calm down, the worst thing to do while waiting to fall pregnant is getting your self into anxiety. For some reason anxiety and emotional upsets delay pregnancy. I’ll strongly advice that you go for a thorough medical check up. Check your blood groups, ensure no Rhesus factor at play here. Have a gynaecologist look at your womb (scan etc) ensure no adhesions from previous miscarriage treatment, assuming you found yourself in the hands of a dr that treat miscarriage with d&c when you had a miscarriage. Check hormone levels. Ask what sort of uterus you have, that is; retroverted etc. When you get an all clear from the drs, then embark on a journey of knowing your cycle. Track your cycle so you can accurately pinpoint when you ovulate. Forget that day 14 crap people make noise about, every woman is different, even every cycle is different. I’ve seen day 18 ovulation that achieved a healthy baby and delivery. If you can afford ovulation detection kits, buy them. Usually after about 3 months you’ll be able to predict with great certainty when ovulation will occur. Eat healthy food and start taking prenatal vitamins. Encourage your husband to improve his diet and take make prenatal vitamins too. Also assuming your uterus is retroverted, you stand a greater chance of achieving a pregnancy if you lie on your stomach immediately after sex or use the doggy style and lie down on your stomach afterwards. This is because in retroverted uterus the cervix moves up and away from the pool of semen in the vagina, when you lie on your back after ejaculation. But when you’re on your stomach the cervix bends down into the pool of semen and the worm will be able to begin their journey. This knowledge has achieved many pregnancies.

Above all, pray and trust in God. He is the giver of life and everything is in His control.

Additionally, I hope having a child will solve the issue you point out in your marriage as I don’t think that’s the problem. As you try to have this child also evaluate your relationship with your husband to figure out if a child would rather complicate things than help. You’re not barren, you’ve achieved a pregnancy in the past. All you need is to sustain one to full term so don’t despair. Get to the root of your marriage issues so you don’t go through the pain of single motherhood too. Communication and mutual respect is the key in every relationship. If he insists that you leave, it may be best to. Children do not solve marital problems. Cheers

Family / Re: Help! Family Planning Keeps Failing Us, She Is Pregnant Twice This Year by Onyxnaija: 10:44pm On Oct 28, 2019
You’re inconsiderate. So what happens after you e damaged her reproductive organs through multiple abortions, and you desire to have more children (10 years from now)? Will you remember your part in creating the problem, or will you make it your wife’s issue and probably leave her due to her inability to bear more children?
Nairaland is not a hospital, take your wife to see a qualified dr to prescribe suitable contraception.
Ps: your wife must be eager to please you( which is not necessarily a bad thing) as no man is worth any woman putting her life and conscience at risk for just for a few minutes of pleasure. Please be wise!

Wicked British are damaging your educational institution and lazy mumu youth are happy and praising it . When was the last time BBC run a documentary about research breakthrough or academic breakthrough from unilag ? When it’s bad news about African the slavemaster are always quick to report it but when a Nigerian child made 9 As in GCSE/WAEC they should run a documentary about that too .
I find your comments disturbing. What wrong did the bbc do here exactly? People with your views and mentality are the reason the Nigerian edu system is messed up. What if your daughter/ son is sexually harassed tomorrow, will you still feel the same way? Let’s be honest so things can start to improve in the country. Soon it’ll filter down to secondary schools and primary too. Thank God for the bbc who had the guts to carry out such investigative journalism.

You just unleashed monitoring spirits and demons into your private life. Some things are best kept private, bringing them on social platforms will only worsen things. Next week to see the dr is only 7 days away at most, not a lifetime. Only God gives children, so rest on Him and He never fails. Anxiety prevents pregnancy! A bit of self control, moving forward. Cheers
