Hi Skillip,you do not have to pay, the same thing happened to me and i was given a letter of defferal with d originals at d VFS office. u'll be asked to pay at the VFS office,afterwards the high commission will call u for a refund, I collected my visa on tuesday 17th for jan 2009 resumption.So i will advice u to go ahead and pay so dat u can get a collection slip, All d best!
