Pets / Re: How Do I Socialise My 13 Months Male Boerboel With My 9 Weeks Old Male Boerboel by oshanka: 12:32am On Sep 06, 2014
i subscribe to much of Jado's view asides from the add a little .... As much as you can, keep the female out of the introductions totally. brief sessions daily with your presence should do the trick . Never leave them together alone until your pup is 4 months old.

Also oluomoadebayo was spot on with doing the intro now , the earlier with your supervision the better ... imagine trying to unlock a 100kg tangle of paws , jaws and brute body mass !!!

Had a similar situation with "miladies" too ....

finally alternate between methods and choose whats ideal for your situation , like humans no 2 dogs are the same.
Pets / Re: Raw Feeding Ideas For Nigerian Dog Owners by oshanka: 6:08pm On Aug 06, 2014
Dogs could be classified as facultative carnivores and not obligates, hence they can process both animal and non animal foods. They have amylase which is the enzyme that breaks down carbohydrate in their digestive tracts unlike ours in saliva...

Fruits and plants that are digestable offer a digestive break from fatty domestically raised animals that are fed by raw enthusiast as they are dense in nutrients and contain anti-oxidants ... pumpkins , apples and carrrots are good for dogs . it has been observed that wolves in the wild which proponents of Raw feeding get their ideas from eat other foods primarily fruits

I am an avid believer in Variety being the spice of life , hence my dogs have as their main meal Diamond Kibble(lamb and rice flav) and any of these depending on how time and funds permit, canned jojo mixed with rice , boiled deboned chicken mixed with kibbles, carrots and apples although one does not like apples. shredded pumpkin (ugwu) in chicken broth/stock with sweet potatoes and countless other mixes ...

Ain't against any school of feeding , prey feeding, BARF(bones and raw feeding) or even people who have chosen vegan diet for their dogs. but mix the flow , titus , shawa ,croaker, tilpia, catfish and different kinds of healthy meat from sheep , goat, cow , turkey, lean pork chops if you chose to feed raw etc

Life is too short let your dog enjoy various healthy meals

Please I need an opinion , registered a business name 5 years ago, and opened an account with it the same year , during d last update exercise out of negligence did not get a TIN. Still using the account but intend to get a TIN now, what penalties would i pay and hope it would not be clumsy having operated the account off and on in the last five years. Thank you
Politics / Re: MEND Kills 13 Policemen In Bayelsa by oshanka: 7:33pm On Apr 07, 2013
RIP to the dead policemen and may God grant their families the fortitude to bear the loss. Sectoral approaches to the myraid of issues the country is saddled with won't work!!! The presidency can holistically resolve half the problem nigeria has by convening a truthful Sovereign National Conference (SNC) where all are ably represented and discontent carefully addressed, because virtually all going wrong is "reli-regio-political". MEND,OPC,BH,MASSOB all sprung out of discontent with the system or wanting something new . A honest Round table talk(SNC) is all we need.
Sports / Re: Interesting Article About John Mikel Obi by oshanka: 11:02am On Aug 31, 2012
Hmmmm a football game appears a straight forward sport, yet little details people overlook is what makes the beautiful game, The role of a defensive midfielder is to protect his defence line, hold possesion, serve as back-up in positions left void by marauding defenders , and run d lines in d center and backward part of the pitch... Vacuums left on the pitch by attacking DM always comes at a cost if counter attacks are launched cos its the job of central midfielders or forwards "Doing overtime doesn't make u a better staff than your colleague at work" hence DM's scoring or attacking always is overtime..... Mikel Obi is a great SPACE MARKER just like claude makelele whom his game is fashioned against, also check Mamadou diarra in his heydays with Madrid. they do the dirty job for their teams by marshalling d midfield , shielding roving forwards to acute angles where d option of shooting is not considered , and where passes cannot be made to advanced positions , they cover the most kilometers on the pitch during most games . Their strength lies in positional play and not speed, and when they feel like doing 'overtime' and d option is open they charge into the other half nd launch attacks ...... The choice now lies with coaches who like DMs that like doing overtime' or not . "IF only u guys can QUANTIFY how many goals a team CONCEDES when their DM is out of position when upfront, only then can u know how important Mikel is for his team "

Autos / Re: 59k Mileage, Registered 2003 Corolla ( Bank Type) for 1.4m by oshanka: 12:11pm On May 15, 2012
In fairness i made my observation based on your off handed response to the prospective buyer, but you failed to read my post objectively. I know not your person was just telling u to chill .... Haba !!! why do we always "wear armours of war even in times of peace " . Sorry if u think I faulted , let it pass really can't handle an online charade.
Autos / Re: 59k Mileage, Registered 2003 Corolla ( Bank Type) for 1.4m by oshanka: 4:37pm On May 11, 2012
showdex: I doubt if you can ever use a good car is you're pricing a 2003 car with a 59k Mileage for 800. Sorry is your first name@ ESESUPER.
. @showdex you could have responded politely even if you felt he under priced the corolla . Its a market and negotiating or bargaining isn't a crime. You could as well have indicated your price is FIXED. Just being courteous and pleasant could even make him cough out the extra 600k difference. More than the 59k mileage you are screaming which could have been altered by any "tom, tim or mariah" ..... Business is basically setting standards andd having a good attitude.
Travel / Re: The Crystal Service immigration Scam by oshanka: 3:22am On Aug 18, 2011
It all smells scam, after all d get rich quick schemes(wealth solution, penny wise, nonspecto) were quashed by anti graft agencies, travel scams has been widely embraced by this same set of crooks, it behoves on the authorities to get involved in this as potential applicants all seem to be hoodwinked into believing these crap, If u feel a need to go to canada on an immigrant basis simply consult a licensed canadian immigration lawyer, there are lots of them in nigeria that offer their services at relatively affordable prices. They know the ropes better, Crystal is a blunt joke, can't stop wondering how they got dis much people on their wagony got dis much people on their wagon

One man's food is every other man's food, just because an idiot refuses to eat it doesn't make it poison.

Politics / Re: Communism In Nigeria: Why Not? by oshanka: 4:29pm On Aug 15, 2011
Communism is an economic stunting approach to provide for all yet loses all in d process of redistributing wealth, I am not much of a fan of capitalism either but it seems to bring out the best in individuals economically, while downplaying d illegit modes employed by some to accrue so much. That said my view of the best system for the african continent and Nigeria in particular is Social Welfarism where government provides basic infrastructures and amenities and offers it to the people at little or no cost, like is operated in most scadinavian countries, imagine 24hr electrity, free education to the university level, free health care and a good rail network. With social welfarism and nigerians ingenuity in business with hardwork, things will surely be brighter, A figment of social welfarism was all "Awo" did that propelled the west almost a decade ahead of other regions and made him a hero from his region, But all still boils down to a responsive goverment who understands the yearnings of its people.ple at little or no cost, like is operated in most scadinavian countries, imagine 24hr electrity, free education to the university level, free health care and a good rail network.
