Some things are not supposed to be taken to court.
Just look at Zinolesky, he signed off his life to naira Marley, naira Marley owns him like a slave.
So if Zinolesky tries to break out from naira Marley, do you expect naira Marley to take Zinolesky to court and tell the judge that "I own him, he is my slave "

You are talking trash.

Education / Nigeria’s University Of Lagos Increase Tuition From N19,000 To Over N100,000. by Oyelakin225(m): 4:09pm On Jul 21, 2023
Amid rising inflation and hikes in petrol prices following the removal of fuel subsidy, the University of Lagos has increased school fees.

The school increased its tuition from about N20,000 to over N100,000 depending on the course of study.

The new tuition ranges from N100,750 to N190,250 depending on whether the course of study requires laboratory or studio work or if the student is in the college of medicine.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola held a meeting with the representatives of non-teaching staff unions on July 20, 2023, at the Senate Committee Chamber of the school.

During the meeting, Ogunsola disclosed the proposed fees for undergraduate students of the school.

A statement issued by the school’s chapter of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) said during the meeting that lasted approximately three hours, the “proposed fees for undergraduate students at Unilag were disclosed. Students without lab or studio use would pay N100,750, those with lab use would pay N140,250, and college of medicine undergraduates would pay N190,250.

Politics / Re: Increase Minimum Wage To N100,000 Instead Of N8,000 Palliatives – Primate Ayodel by Oyelakin225(m): 9:03pm On Jul 16, 2023
Houseontherock1:

Increasing minimum wage will benefit everyone. Traders have already increased the price of commodities but sales have dropped seriously because people don't have money to buy. Artisans and other service providers are complaining because of low patronage. Once salary is reviewed upwards, there'll be more patronage for service providers, traders and commercial motorists will make more money. That way, they benefit from the salary increase even though they are not salary earners. As for the unemployed, friends and family will ha6 more money to help them while they look for job. 8k is nothing

The most reasonable comment I've ever read on Nairaland. Kudos to you.

Hello Nairalanders, I've been trying to register for Nigeria Immigration Service recruitment for some days now but to no avail. What I noticed was that whenever I click on the drop down button for local government it won't displaying anything, it will just be empty. I've used Google chrome and Opera mini but still the same thing. Is there anyone who has experienced this and how did you scape-through it?
Politics / Re: Atiku: PDP Begins Presidential Campaign In Uyo by Oyelakin225(m): 1:47pm On Oct 10, 2022
yomi961:
As Vice President between 1999 and 2007, Atiku played a crucial role in upturning the damages of the military regimes on the country, accomplishing a lot, some of which include overseeing the process that paved the way for the liberalization of the telecommunication sector. During that time, Atiku gained wide experience– many of which would come in handy in the job of fixing Nigeria.

Atiku’s vision for building an economy that is strong and not reliant on oil derivation makes so much sense. Not only does Atiku have a plan to encourage active participation of the private sector in the growth of Nigeria’s economy, but he also has a plan to make sure it produced the trickle-down benefits enjoyed in many other parts of the world which does the same.

And assuring about Atiku is the fact that his ideas for Nigeria are not made in vague terms or failed promises, rather they are what has worked elsewhere and can work here too. His policy document in circulation showed he listens to the issues facing every average Nigerian and is ready to do something about them.

Atiku has promised a real effort to unite the country– the kind that will ensure “all Nigerians are equal and should be seen and treated equally.” This is reflected in his campaign theme of “ONE COUNTRY”, a clear commitment to bringing everyone together as ‘ONE PEOPLE’, making it impossible for the proponent of division to make any headway.

This is not just some campaign rhetoric– this is who Atiku is. This is more reason why Atiku is seen as a unifier. He has done it right in his home and can do it for Nigeria. The incentive for a united Nigeria is peace and stability, which are the core ingredients for the development and growth of any nation. The APC has mismanaged our diversity and Atiku is capable of keeping the country as one.

More is the promise of drafting as many as 40 percent of young people into his cabinet, providing them the needed exposure and experience in governance to take over from him. This will be a major shift in the country’s governance template, and one in the right direction, because for the very first time, we will have a president who truly understands the value of young people and does not only believe they are leaders of today but prepared to make it so.

With Atiku in the Aso Rock, we won’t have to wake up every morning worrying about policy inconsistencies and the attendant impact on our lives, nor will we have the fear that he will make decisions based on sentiments. Having Atiku as president will be having a man that knows the problem and has the right plans to address it. Nigeria will be a better place with Atiku as president.
