Are you ready? Passiveseyi: Problems of Poor people in today's world
They're taking advice from poor people
Poor people are teaching poor people how to be become more poor
If you want to Break Free From the Financial Struggle
Maybe it's time to rethink the advice you're getting.
There's a lot of information out there,
but not all of it leads to success.
You have to break free from the cycle of negativity.
Surround yourself with people who inspire you to grow financially.
Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and seek out mentors who can guide you.
The biggest fear of people is losing friends or family who can't handle their growth.
The truth is, some people might not understand your new focus.
Another truth is,
You'll also attract supportive people who celebrate your journey.
Now, let's talk about building real financial freedom
1. Invest in Yourself (Before Upgrading Your Lifestyle):
Most successful people didn't get there by spending as much as they earn.
Invest in your education, skills, or anything that helps you grow your earning potential
Focus on what truly matters, your basic needs, don't try to compete material things with people to prove any point.
Learn how to downgrade your lifestyle, so you can upgrade your life
2. Invest, Don't Spend:
Your money should be working for you!
Instead of unnecessary spending, invest in yourself, your business,
or areas that will help you create long-term wealth.
3. Become an Expert (Before Diversifying):
Don't jump from one thing to another too quickly.
Focus on becoming an expert in one field before spreading yourself thin.
Remember:
Short-term sacrifices lead to long-term success.
Are you ready to take control of your financial future? |
Education / Re: How To Escape The Rat Race (paycheck Cycle) by Passiveseyi(m): 4:28pm On Aug 04 |
Ok Passiveseyi: You spend all of the money from one salary before you receive the next salary and have no money left over for savings. .
That has been the cycle for months, and for some people, years!
This cycle is called Paycheck-paycheck
Today, I will be talking about a struggle many of us face:
feeling like our finances are constantly on a tightrope.
Here are some tips to help you break free from the paycheck- paycheck cycle, no matter where you are financially.
Mastering the Basics
Ever feel like you're just treading water financially?
Here's the truth:
Managing money is a skill.
A saying goes that:
"If you can't handle N10k, you can't handle N100k, and you can't handle a million."
It's all about building a strong foundation.
Think about it:
If you're struggling with smaller amounts,
chances are you'll struggle with larger sums too.
The key is
You have to master the basics first! Learn to track your income and expenses.
Stop the excuse: "If I had more money, I'd be better at managing it."
Because the reality is, many millionaires still struggle to keep a surplus.
2. Breaking the Entitlement Mindset
A lot of people struggle with a sense of entitlement.
They believe they deserve a certain lifestyle without putting in the work.
Here's the reality:
No one owes you anything.
Success requires hustle and sacrifice.
Stop living for appearances.
Reframe your thinking from "I deserve this" to "How can I work towards what I want?"
Are you even willing to make temporary sacrifices to reach your long-term goals?
Imagine going back to basics.
An apartment costs N200k/year
Would you be willing to share an apartment, cook your meals, and prioritize save more money?
Because some wealthy people had to go through this stage
Money management cannot be underestimated in the journey to financial freedom
True financial freedom comes from smart habits and a willingness to hustle.
You have the power to break free from the Paycheck-paycheck cycle.
By mastering the basics and changing your mindset,
you too can build a secure financial future.

I was in SS1

I decided to give it a trial during holiday
I placed my first bet with N500(some money left out of my pocket money)
I won about N3,500+
I was really excited but.. š
I didn't have a bank account š
I reached out to my elder brother to send me his account details

Maybe God didn't allow me get that money I won because that life wasn't my path
Maybe If I had gotten access to that money, I wouldn't have had reason to stop betting _____ But I still kept these friends who are into it
I started rolling with them
I used to be very brilliant in Junior school
Infact, I was the overall best in the whole block in JSS2(6 classes in total) then, I also got best result for BECE exams (that JSS3 crossing to SSS1 general exam)
But I started getting dull
Keeping friends that are girls( the same me that use to be very shy)
Started a relationship too with one girl too (not a serious relationship tho)
My grades dropped drastically
But I was very conscious of not failing my exams so, I read when it's time for exams and manage to be among the top 20 in block throughout my senior secondary school
Some of these friends I kept had to drop out because of low grades
We entered a lot of school cases together then, from crossing bounds to buy indomie and suya (going outside school through illegal route in a boarding school system), to cooking in uncompleted buildings in school or hostel ceiling, to getting our phones seized multiple times.
In SS3, I was appointed by my collegues to be one of the coordinators in block
My phone was seized in first term, I was the first to be called out on assembly that term and my phone was destroyed right in my presence
Maybe that was why my colleagues respected me and appointed me to coordinate them
Little did I know that, they knew I have been disgraced already and taking another disgrace should not be difficult for me again, so I was best fit to coordinate the final exam affairs for SS3
Some teachers were aware
My phones could no longer be seized after this my new appointment
Even if it gets seized, I have connection from teachers that have higher power to get it back
Because we settle them a lot and I was in charge of the money we do contribute
So nothing should happen to me if they want to keep getting their share
My jamb score hit me really had - very lowš
Fast forward till we finished our exams
There were a lot of complication that almost got us in trouble especially me and the other coordinators in charge
We were invited many times for questioning, they sent different spy student to us to get us down
But we scaled through because we were conscious not to fall
Most of us graduated with average grades and everyone parted ways
Maybe if I had not kept these friends, I wouldn't have gone through all of this and probably even graduate as one of the best student in school then
I wouldn't have had to experience such a terrible life experience
I would have found it easier to read and understand easily now because, I would have gotten used to the habit

Education / Check This Before Listening To Financial Advisors by Passiveseyi(m): 4:23pm On Aug 04 |
Have you ever felt lost when it comes to some financial advice you hear?
There's so much information out there, and it's hard to know who to trust.
Today, let's talk about a powerful strategy for getting the best financial guidance!
Imagine a millionaire sharing the secrets to their success.
Now, imagine getting advice from someone struggling to make ends meet.
See the difference?
It's very clear and distinct
You have to seek guidance from those who have achieved the results you desire.
This might sound obvious, but you'd be surprised how often people overlook it.
Never get financial advice from someone who makes less money than you.
Why this matter is that
People who have built wealth often have valuable insights and experiences to share.
They understand the challenges and strategies involved in achieving financial success.
By learning from their journeys, you can gain valuable knowledge and inspiration to apply to your own financial goals.
And It's not just about money.
This principle applies to any area of life where you want to improve.
Never get business advice from somebody who's got a smaller business than
You never get relationship advice from somebody who's got a failed marriage o
Never get friend advice from somebody got no friends you love to keep
it's simple
Seek advice from those who have achieved the results you desire, and watch yourself grow!
So, who are the financial mentors in your life?
Are they crushing it financially, let's us talk in the comment |

You spend all of the money from one salary before you receive the next salary and have no money left over for savings.

Because the reality is, many millionaires still struggle to keep a surplus.
2. Breaking the Entitlement Mindset
A lot of people struggle with a sense of entitlement.
They believe they deserve a certain lifestyle without putting in the work.
Here's the reality:
No one owes you anything.
Success requires hustle and sacrifice.
Stop living for appearances.

Politics / Re: Protest Over? What Now? by Passiveseyi(m): 9:41pm On Aug 03 |
Sadly, most people commenting might not even join the ongoing protest Passiveseyi: Protest over? What now?
I think the protest yesterday in Nigeria was pointless.
I even heard that some used the protest as an avenue to steal in areas in the north,
So observe closely.
You see,
Having a campaign with hashtag āEND BAD GOVERNANCEā can never work.
I sincerely feel a great way to protest will be to protest one issues at a time.
Example:
Some time back, hardship became worse than usual and people felt that
they was too much suffering and were being paid too little as price of everything has gone up.
So a certain organization protested and ask that the minimum wage be increased,
some workers even went on strike.
Now, a few week later,
The minimum wage was increased by a staggering 130%.
Even if was still small, it was an improvement.
And we can say itās a successful protest.
But when you come out to protest and not have something specific reasons,
itās just chaos and no results.
I donāt like bad governance but understand that you can not go far blaming the government.
You are your responsibility.
There are two options
We either keep managing with the system while praying for our leaders to make the right choices.
or future leaders to do better.
Or we start working on finding solutions to the problems around us to yield more revenue for the country.
We are more of a producer than a consumer and this is why the dollar keeps depreciating and naira getting devalued.
Imagine what 70k as minimum wage would be able to afford when dollar was approximately N200/$.
We need to strive to produce more.
If we don't have the capital to get started,
We can start by,
Driving Innoson or Nord,
Calling with Glo,
Building with Dangote and BUA,
Eating breakfast with Nasco,
Eating Lunch and dinner with made in Nigeria rice, even if it has stones,
Going on dates at Tantalisers and Suya spots,
Drinking Zobo,
Celebrating with palm wine,
Flying Air Peace over Air France, KLM, or Lufthansa
Shoping at local markets,
Eating cassava bread over foreign wheat bread,
Watching Enyimba and Kano Pillars,
Seeing Nollywood movies at Silverbird,
Streaming Nigerian music,
Wearing aso oke, agbada, babanriga, or isi agu,
I believe this will is strongly increase our GDP.
If we don't choose not to do this,
The only alternative is to find a way to earn in dollars or any other foreign currency.
Sadly, tons of people will keep complaining because they can't take the stress of giving themselves to learning.
I don't know much about politics but I believe this will go a long way
Nigeria will still become great again.š„ |

Family / Re: You Can Tell The Size Of A Man By The Size Of His Problems by Passiveseyi(m): 9:38pm On Aug 03 |
What did I miss? Passiveseyi: You can tell the size of a man by the size of his problems
People say the size of your challenges reflects your potential for growth.
Setbacks and failures are inevitable.
No matter how you try
But the most successful people do not give it a chance to define them.
They embrace these challenges!
if you can learn to embrace the things that are getting in your way,
embrace the failures that are coming,
those are just small bricks that are going to build your Castle in life,
Think of every obstacle as a stepping stone on your journey to success.
Every failure will teach you a valuable lesson and builds your capacity.
It adds depth and experience to who you are.
Everytime you fail, you must be grateful for it
and see it as a part of the story that you're going to tell people one day
Maybe in an event, in a mall, In a plane, in a restaurant, in your g-wagon
of how you became the man that you are
and if you don't have any of those stories
nobody will be interested in your story at all,
Take pride in the challenges you overcome. They're shaping you into the incredible person you're becoming.
Remember:
For every level, there's a new devil.
Every level brings new challenges,
Just like every successful person has faced their fair share of difficulties.
But those challenges tell a story of your perseverance and strength.
Again, in Today's world, you can tell the size of a man by the size of his problems.
So get up every day and every time you get hit in the face, remember this:
You have to have a Relentless heart!
Because with that relentless spirit, there's nothing this world can stop you from becoming.
So, the next time you feel discouraged, remember this:
Sticking with something long enough and embracing the challenges that comes with it will most likely lead to your success.
Now get out there, conquer your goals, and build a story worth telling!
What are your biggest challenges right now?
Let me know in the comment, just maybe, we can brainstorm the solutions together!

I truly believe together, we can make Nigeria a better place to live in We just need to stop these ethnicity comparison and rivalry One thing we should understand is that every ethnic group and tribe has its own uniqueness and abilities. Of course, each tribe can do good on her own but togetherness is what makes us do better We have our own differences but with tolerance, love and understanding We'll fit in and find a balance How sweet would it be If all Nigerians can see this from this light gidgiddy: To all Igbo haters
To all who support Igbosmustgo
To all who carry Igbo matter on their heads like basket of yam
To those who only remember that insecurity and criminality exists in Nigeria only if it happens in Igbo land
To all who have to go back 70 years ago to find what Igbos did wrong
Please, it's not a must that you must share the same country with Igbos. But for the fact that the British brought us all together in 1914, you may never have known who Igbos are.
So if you are against Igbos, support a movement for them to gain independence and exit Nigeria. If you say Igbo land is the Sout East, support that area to have independence referendum
You cannot be shouting 'one Nigeria' with one side of the mouth, but denounce Igbos with the other side, some Igbos like me are tired of 'one Nigeria'.
So the choice is clear, follow 'one Nigeria' or follow break up, there is no middle ground here. You got a problem with Igbos? Support them to exit Nigeria, for only a crazy person wants to be with someone he has a problem with

Webmasters / Problems Of Poor People In Today's World by Passiveseyi(m): 10:08am On Aug 03 |

What makes you think some states haven't tried that? AImoneyAdder: A PROTEST That Has Two Different Tags Already Is Already Rooted In DISUNITY.
Is It #EndBadGovernance or #EndHUNGER ?
A Protest Tagged As "HUNGER PROTEST" Should Be As A Result of The FAILURE of The Ministry of Agriculture of Nigeria.
So, Those People Agitating For #HUNGERPROTEST Should Head Over To The Ministries of Agriculture in Their Respective States To Submit Useful Agricultural Proposals That Should Be Championed And Financed By Their Ministries of Agriculture.
This is The Saner Thing To Do. |
NYSC / Re: Protest Over? What Next? by Passiveseyi(m): 1:01pm On Aug 02 |
What other solution can you profer? Passiveseyi:
Protest over?

What are your biggest challenges right now? Let me know in the comment, just maybe, we can brainstorm the solutions together!
