Education / Re: Has Anyone Gotten His Uniben Transcript? by Paulasio: 11:01pm On Jan 25, 2022
dafuturis:
This just shows how much the school has declined, I don't know why UNIBEN prides itself in stressing students.

I am also having same issues. I applied for the Certified true copy (13,000) since Sept 12th, after waiting for a month without hearing from them I started searching for means to contact them, emails sent to them were bouncing, phone contacts weren't going through, online chat wasn't working. So I had to travel to the school Wednesday 27th of Oct. to know what the issue was.

I found out that...

1. For first time request for transcript one have to apply for the Original Copy (which means Official copy). If you apply for the Certified True Copy ( which means the unofficial copy) it won't be attended to.

2. After paying via remita online, the applicant must printout the completed application slip (in pdf format) and submit it at Exams and Record (Room 25). According to a staff in the transcript office, it is done that way to merge your received request from CRPU with it for it to be attended to.

3. If the email address or physical address you fill is personal or individual it won't be attended to, You'll have to go to CRPU in auditorium to change the email and physical address to the school you're applying to or the company that needs it to employ you or whatsoever.

Note: Nobody will contact you to tell you shit if you don't do as above, your application will only remain there and nothing will be done.

Now back to my own issue.. I had to visit CRPU to change the addresses I filled and also for them to draft out a dialogue for me to pay the balance of 22,000 since I was applying to a school abroad. The changed addresses reflected immediately but the dialogue to pay the balance didn't, the staff who attended to me said it will appear on my page the next day (Thursday 28th Oct.) by 10:AM, So I traveled back same day back to Portharcourt. Today is Friday 29th Oct. it has still not appeared. I spend 11,000 traveling from Portharcourt to Benin and back for this, now it's looking likely that I'll travel again.

Please if you have the contact of any staff in CRPU help me with it to save me the T-fare. Thank you

Hello dafuturis, have you been able to get your transcript. I am also trying to get mine too. I applied three weeks ago online. I also base in PH. How can I contact you please.

Terose:
I said this because I have someone in Uniben who's in the transcript office and he said till date they still ask for the verification stuff hence he was even surprised when I told him I wasn't asked and my process was short and fast.

Hello Terose, could you help with the contact of the link at the transcript office. I applied for my transcript online about three weeks ago, so far, I haven't heard anything. I urgently need the transcript for a scholarship that will be closing on 31st of this month.

Car Talk / Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by Paulasio: 8:41am On Jun 17, 2020
Good morning everyone,

Please, after scanning my car, I got this fault code 65-21 Break switch level fluid stuck ON.

How can this be resolved.

Car is Honda Accord.
Car Talk / Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by Paulasio: 6:48pm On Jun 11, 2020
Good evening sirs and all the expert in the house,

Please help! Am having P0420 code ( catalytic converter below efficiency bank1) on my honda accord 09 2.4l. I discovered this after a check engine light came up on my dashboard, coincidentally a colleague of my had an OBD2 scanner with him that moment. We scanned an got the P0420 code.

I would like to add that, it was not the first time of seeing the check engine light on my dashboard, but it clears off whenever I remove the battery terminal, but always resurfaces after a couple of days, so I always thought maybe because my battery terminal cable head was corroded and not supplying enough voltage was the reason for the check engine light, not until I scanned it yesterday. The code was cleared with the scanner but am quite certain the check engine light will resurface again after a couple of days.

Please how can this problem be resolved.

I also get rattling sound that lasts for about 3secs whenever I start my car in the morning.

During my last oil change, the mechanic overguaged my oil. I notice this when I got home, and I have been using the car like that ever since. it's been about 3months. I later notice oil leak from around the VTC actuator whenever the engine is running, but the leak is little. I don't know if its the cause of the rattling sound, and if the oil overguage is the reason for the P0420 code.

Please help, am at a loss.

Evening house, my 2009 Honda accord showing VSA, Brake and ABS on the dashboard. This was after a mechanic worked on the front leg. The car drives perfectly well and I am not comfortable with those codes showing on the dash, my electrician cleared them but they keep coming back. What can be done pls?
@Rotiix
Please have u been able to solve the problem with your accord 09. Because am presently having the same issue with my 09 accord after my mechanic changed the breakpad, the VSA, Break and ABS light have refused to go off on the dashboard.
Car Talk / Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by Paulasio: 7:38pm On Mar 14, 2020
Good day house,
Please, am having problem with my Honda accord 09. since I change the upholstery and carried out interior cleaning, I notice my car horn stops working then comes on again when I restart the engine. And also saw a check engine light on my dash board. My full light also comes up on its own. Don't know what could be the reason.

And also my car key is unusually hot after driving.

Experts in the house, please, I really need assistance on this.
