How did chidinma okeke get into that team? I'm just asking
She performed well against Cameroon and South Africa in the qualifiers. But it’s evident that the likes of Marta, Bonmati, Parullello, Hermoso etc are streets ahead of whatever Cameroon and SA paraded 😂

We should be ready to bring a couple of baskets for the Spain's game....Because we'll be needing them for the amount of goals we'll need. The only dilemma would be, how many should we be bringing? 😂😂😂

That's what happens when you play non-creators as your creators.... Toni Payne and Ucheibe have made wrong pass selection and decisions every time they've passed a football. Either they run with the ball when they should pass or they pass to who they shouldn't pass to.
This is where we miss Ayinde. Yes, she’s primarily a DM, but decision-making on when/whom to pass the ball to, is usually spot on

Echegini was wide open on the left, but someone decided it was better to attempt a pass to Ihezuo, who was being double-marked 🤦🏾

Ihezuo wake up!!

Good Save from Lorena, but Ihezuo literally Just played the ball where the goalkeeper was positioned.

Yeah. She could have done better

I’m disappointed in the Japanese team. Their trademark slick-passing game is nowhere to be found 🙆🏾

Here’s the Super Falcons’ Starting XI to face Brazil in today’s #Olympics opener.

What do you think of the squad ? 🤔 🦅🇳🇬

The line up is as expected. Our midfield should is a good blend of finesse and brawn, which should be sufficient to match whatever the Brazilians bring on. Ihezuo would be great in pressing from the front and with aerial duels

Like bro... 15 minutes is still ok but a whole 2 hours after a match? What stopped the ref from checking the goal immediately? Let's assume the match was a final an Argentina already won via penalties, that means they would be called back to return the trophy. grin

After these Olympics, FIFA and IFAB should take a look at protocols for suspending a match due to crowd trouble. I think suspending the game for 1hr 30 minutes was ridiculous.

Remember that at the 2014 World Cup, Costa Rica were grouped alongside Italy, England, and Uruguay. 99.9% of football pundits and fans gave them no chance of advancing from that group. But guess what? The Costa Ricans not only advanced to the knockout round, they did so by winning the group.

Further, at the 2022 World Cup, Morocco were grouped alongside Croatia, Belgium, and Canada. Again, 99.9% of football fans and pundits predicted their elimination from the group stage. However, the Moroccans defied expectations by advancing to the knockout rounds, and doing so by winning their group.

My point is that the Super Falcons have a decent chance of advancing from the group, and having a deep run in the tournament if the tactics are spot on, and luck shines on them 😊

“You can entirely miss me with that "international interference in Nigeria is a conspiracy theory" bullshit. Teacher, please don't teach me nonsense.

I believed that shit too until fairly recently. Up until maybe about 2022, I thought that Nigeria's continued failure was mostly down to internal self sabotage, and that global powers aren't really interested in Nigeria because it's just not that important anymore.

Then I filed an FOIA lawsuit requesting the FBI and 5 other agencies to release Candidate Bola Tinubu’s drug trafficking investigation files which were relevant to Nigeria's 2023 presidential election, and I witnessed live and direct, the US government playing "tortoise and rabbit" with me, and transforming into Nigerian Police/EFCC - including "losing" documents and lying in court - because they were protecting this criminal whom they clearly had an interest in empowering as Nigeria's president.

It was an 18-month crash course in the 21st century fundamentals of White People Are Full Of Unending Amounts Of Bullshit 101, and How The American Empire Really Works 102. I've seen the system for what it is, and it is physically impossible for me to unsee what I have seen.

I'm rooting for Africa, China, Russia and India.“

Within the last 24 hours, the Harris campaign has raised a staggering $81 million!

To put this feat into context, Trump’s best fundraising haul, in a day, was the $53 million his campaign received in the immediate hours after a NY jury found him guilty of Falsifying business records…

First of all Actblue is a leftist progressive engine for small dollars donations... Even Biden raised lots of money through it this year.

Secondly, It's just reactionary... As new candidate.
Everything would normalize within a week once she fails to establish a lead in polls.

On the bolded, I already knew that. But even Biden couldn’t pull such a rash of donations within a single day

Let's see how how poll goes within the coming days... I'm predicting a slight bump until it normalized back to dejavu

They can't still change Harris before the convention though

Well, if the Democrats proceed with the planned virtual roll call vote, that is scheduled to hold before the convention, that would be the forum for the delegates to formally choose the nominee. Then, the convention would be a mere coronation of the delegates’ choice.
