You are giving excuses...

Messi lacks ambition. Period.

Roger Federer had a head start on Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in tennis but because the two opponents are creatures of ultra competitiveness, they have been able to reasonably level the field/close the gap.

Ronaldo can die to succeed but Messi appears to be content with just talent alone and you and me know the aphorism that talent cannot be enough...

We made excuses for Messi for allowing Roma to recover from 1-4 deficit...Messi was on the pitch when Roma scored three unreplied goals.

We made excuses for Messi when Liverpool overturned a first leg three goal deficit at Anfield... Messi was AWOL when the likes of Origi shone.

We cannot continue to exonerate Messi in an Argentine team boasting of Sergio Aguero and Di Maria.

Messi should step up...Pure and simple.

POSTSCRIPT

Excuses were made for Messi for allowing Ronaldo to rise from a 1-4 deficit on the Ballon D'Or scorecard to level matters currently at 5-5...Who allows such a travesty?

Umm its not ambition at all - he has loads of that. You cannot score the goals he has scored over his career at Barca without ambition. Thats takes ambition. What i think we can critic him on is that though he has been consistently voted over the years as the worlds best Messi has tried to prove that he is the Greatest Ever and thats where he has failed. At Barca he's king but he has been surrounded by very very good and capable players.

The Spanish league is not as competitive as say the British league. Hes had the opportunity to home and refine his schools week in week out with teams that do not offer competitiveness like they would in the premiership. When Messi finds himself outside of his comfort zone he struggles to find that extra thing

You understand am. German female team had not conceded a goal through out their world cup campaign but yesterday they lost to an inferior Swedish team with a goal difference. Spain in 2010 lost a match. In Champions League, Barcelona always go undefeated till they fail in quarter finals or semi finals. Liverpool this year lost two group stage matches.

There's always that thing that makes a favorite who loses or draws a match with a presumed weaker opponent during the group stage to sit up and win the final.

So you are comparing SE to crappy womans World Cup - German female team Are you serious Bro??

How people always seem to blame Ighalo even when he had a good game beats my imagination. He tried his best today to be honest but was starved of the ball. Same happened to Onachu by we overlooked it. He got one in our first match and scored. Our midfield was poor today. Really poor, with Mikel being the greatest culprit. We are so quick to pick a scapegoat all the time haba!!! Etebo had so much of the ball today but did little with it. I was expecting Samu to come in today but Simon was introduced.
Maybe Rohr should risk using Osihmen then as the front line is not scoring.

I dont get why Etebo was playing at very deep in midfield on the right - i could be wrong but thats not his preferred role. Hes not a defender. Why oh why wont he play Henry Onyekuru.

Listen - theres something not right about this team. I would not be surprised if the manager or people in the nff are getting money for favours. This manager really needs to be removed ASAP.

That's the managers problem. But this team epitomises Nigerias problems. We lack professionalism and rely on quick fix solutions while not dealing with the rot. When will we stop using Mikel as AMF... His best games have been at the base of the midfield.
Hopefully we win.

Because Mikel and Igahlo are the cabals of the Nigerian team. What the heck is Mikel doing in the Nigerian team and Henry is a good good player. Something does not smell right and Nigerians re not picking this up

...why is Mikel Obi still in the national team?

Because I suspect that he's pulling strings behind the scene and perhaps is bribing the officials. If he were British he would have announced his resignation long ago

Yet this old man is still playing. Joke

I'm not saying Mikel is a bad player but the coach is playing him out of position alongside iwobi. The coach is just a stubborn goat that doesn't want to admit this error. The guy na Sarri's younger brother that keeps playing kante on the wings and Hazard as a top striker.

No no no Mikel should not be playing period. He offered nothing at the Wc and he offers nothing right now. He has never been consistent as a super eagles player. Yes there have been falshed of brilliance however that don't mean squat today.

He keeping fresher.younger hungrier players from coming thru

Mikel should be flown home

Nigeria has little to no tactics apart from kick the ball from defense to attack. I cannot believe that we possess not one individual who has any modicum of ball trickery or skills. The midfield might as well not have come out of the dressing room because there is a huge gulf between the Americans and us. The Americans are taking the MICK for real because they know that Nigeria has nothing to offer. When we defend it is atrociously amateur as if they simply wondered into the stadium and were told to put on a nigerian jersey and play for THAT team. Ive not witnessed such a poor and unintelligent level of play from Nigeria since......oh yea the Wolrd Cup

Politics / Re: UK Targets Nigeria, Others Over ‘dirty Money’ by pelezico: 1:45pm On Sep 17, 2018
Dont be fooled - they do not care about money laundering of the likes that brings in billions of stolen funds from 3rd world nations into the UK - what the care about is the wealth that law abiding citizens of Nigerian descent have in Nigeria. Listen carefully folks. My mum went to Barclays bank and she was asked by a banking clerk that she by law must report on wealth she has in Nigeria like land, houses, mainly your families inheritance. My mum told him to go a stick his heads where the sun dont shine bro

The UK Government is socialist in principle (even though they advertise themselves as a Democratic nation whatever that means today) - they do not share our African values in regard to a persons entitlement to inheritance. Your inheritance belongs to Queen and Country and therefore they are entitled to claim revenue from it even though it belongs in another Sovereign jurisdiction. This is a colonialist trap.

What Thersa May wants to do is open up full disclosure with the nigerian government on Nigerians living in the UK. Thats there end game

This has nothing to do with Money Laundering but all to do with seizing your goods by force. Beware

Newboss:
So their plan is to just take the stolen goods from the thieves and convert them to theirs. angry

That's grand theft. angry

Britain is simply envious of the crooks and deeply desires to have their loots permanently. angry

This is the dirtiest form of money laundry where the government practically takes legitimate possession of what was never, and could never have been hers. angry

If you are not handing these loots back to the respective countries, then you are worse than the looters. angry

Im astonished that you are not aware of how serious the abortion scandal is. For every 1000 abortions carried out in the US apprx 430 abortions are cadried kut by black mothers. SINCE 1975 WELL OVER 15000000 (million) BLACKS BABIES HAVE BEEN ABORTED.

What about president cli ton reluctantly apologising about the syphilis experimemt on blacks or the contamination of water in black neighbourhoods that left many with cancer

Naaaaa not a peek

"Several years ago, when 17,000 aborted babies were found in a dumpster outside a pathology laboratory in Los, Angeles, California, some 12-15,000 were observed to be black."
--Erma Clardy Craven (deceased)

Social Worker and Civil Rights Leader

Are the celebs bold enough to talk publically about this. No. Cause they will make themselves an enemy of the Social leftists. They want the fame and the glory not the cross.

Originalsly:

You acknowledge that in your first rant...hmmm....should I take this as the second rant?...and expect more? Let's discuss.... (while we await Frank's return from self exile).
On social programs being the bane of poor communities.... I would say to a small extent because wayyy more people are able to contribute to society because of it.
On abortion....do you expect him to speak out or assist on everything? Genocide by abortion is more of a White problem...after all...aren't they the ones who are not increasing in numbers? On Whites outing out Blacks on abortions...just support what I said earlier...should they talk about their own you would be horrified. FYI....I live in the US...NYC to be precise... due to the nature of my job...I get around a whole lot...in abortion clinics...I hardly see Blacks...mostly hispanics...and Whites..and the community has a lot of Blacks. Now I'm not saying Blacks don't have abortions....just not as your media be portraying it to be.
Bro...Nigeria is imploding culturally....adapting what they think is American culture. But I donagree with you that culture is the key difference....but always consider their history and why they are lost culturally.
And no...I do not have a fetish for celebrities.... for a million dollars...I may know the name..mbut can't ID the face of more than 5 of 5he top 20 celebrities!...I'm that bad.

Sports / Re: Basketball Superstar Lebron James Lashes Trump For Dividing America by pelezico: 1:36pm On Aug 02, 2018
I acknowledged in my first rant that some black celebrities do help - what im saying is that social care programs are the bane of poor communities. Social programs have destroyed our communities. Please validate your claim that Lebron is helping black communities. Also when did Lebron talk about the effects of the black genocide called abortion - or is that simply a mainstream media pill - white folks outting out blacks murdering babies in the womb is fake news right?? Education begins in the home my friend. The reason i spoke about Nigerians doing well in America is because culturally we are not imploding. The real reason American blacks are not doing well is because of culture not government.

You have have fetish for celebrities i dont. Good for you. only a very few celebrities are talking sense - but the Lebrons who are poorly educated and no little about economics. He wants to give away freebies well whos going to pay for all of that. go and sit down please

Originalsly:

Now I know you swallow whatever is fed to you by mainstream media. US celebrities do all you questioned....mentoring, etc.... but such is not covered by the media you feed from. There are outreach programs. ...stop the violence shows to promote peace and unity....a whole lot of social activities...but almost all the time...the mainstream media will mention such if something negative happens at or even near to the venue. About schooling....you may think Blacks and Latinos have an equal shot at quality education.....but you need to know the details. Black celebrities do a whole lot for their communities....give back to their communities and I don't mean like spraying money. Lebron has just taken it to another level....what you find is wrong with what he is doing?...or would you prefer he spend his money on acquiring a fleet of super expensive cars?
