Can people be this wicked?.
I came across this s6o yesterday on jiji, called d seller(owner) and so I left my surulere abode this morning ,spent hard earned money on t-fare to ikorodu, traffic to the location was hell.just to see this lovely ride.but alas!!!All that glitter is not gold!! This guys phone gave the scrap a new Look and hid all the stains n dirts.the engine ,to speak of was a total write off.in fact the car is a heap of junkyard. And this left me begging for answers why this guy would allow his car to go this baaaaad b4 selling it.
It pained me because I came a long distance to see a junk of a car someone offered online for sale.thus is not fair. The guy himself didn't show up at the spot.....like he knew it wasn't worth it...so he sent a proxy guy.
Why not sell it immediately when you know say ground no level again.? I didn't utter a word ,I just went round the thing and immediately left the spot...with anger oo!!
Nawa oo God help us.

Car Talk / Re: Thread For Volvo Car Owners/lovers by peternwanji(m): 10:54am On May 29, 2020
There is a professional Volvo mech in surulere aguda. He's Togo .and very reliable. If u van find your way to brown street aguda.that's where his shop is located. He's name is yawei

Some mechanics are wacks, but self acclaimed professionals.

This is what's keeping me from owning a Volvo...
I have always loved volvos because they are rare to see on the high ways, especially here in ph. And it's not as vulnerable as other products.

But in Port Harcourt here, am not sure of a good Volvo mechanic, and that's what is keeping me from saving up for a Volvo.

Wish one was in Lagos, where oga Val and other professionals are. [/quote]

HOW I LOST MY VOLVO S80,MY 2ND WIFE TO THE COLD HANDS OF THOSE MGBUKA GUYS ALL BECAUSE OF MY SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL VOLVO MECHANIC.

My car s80 '01 model was having a start and stop issue. In the middle of the highway it would just turn off and immediately turn on again .I took it in for diagnosis. They couldn't fathom the heck that was wrong with it .More painful was my mech who only repairs Volvo cars and nothing else.In fact to add to his incompetence :both of us uses same model. The guy worsened the issue for me.I practically shed tears when this car was been towed away from my compound because it wouldn't start anymore.
My once beautiful ride , admired by all is now a scrap.

WORSE DISCOVERY:
The mgbuka guy that bought told me he just changed some sensors and brainbox.the car came back alive and even stronger since I've worked on virtually all sections of the car previously.
Till date I still don't know how to relate with this mechanic whenever I see him.I just pity people car in his barrage.I only needed to forgive.
My baby ..is...gone.

Every 5,000 miles or 8,000km, rotate your tyres. arrow Tyre rotation.
Clean brake dust off regularly

Brake dust contains all sorts of nasty stuff. If you leave it too long, the combination of road grime, moisture and heat from your brakes will bake it on to your wheels. Brake dust normally clings to wheels with static electricity so a damp sponge and clean cold water is the best way to get it off.
Check your tyre pressures

Check your tyre pressures regularly - once a week is ideal. Bad tyre pressures can affect fuel economy, handling and comfort. It's easy to do and there is no excuse not to. arrow Checking your tyre pressure.
Check your tread depth

Bald, slick tyres might be good for motor racing but they're no good on the road. Most tyres come with tread wear bars built into them now - find one, examine it and if your tread is too low, replace your tyres. Four new tyres might seem expensive but they're cheaper than a fine or an accident. arrow Tread wear bars.
