Why have people decided to shut the guy down? He took his time to make the list up and you all complain. Yet you pick up Forbes magazine . Before you ask, yes Forbes include fraudsters and embezzlers like Roman Abramovich and ruthless business men like Carlos Slim before you argue with me do your research. The world is not bothered about how you get your wealth, the list is about how much people are worth. Politicians are the same all around the world, Tony and Cherie Blair are worth an estimated £60m. Tony Blair is costing British taxpayers £6 million a year for his personal protection and Shell controls our oil wealth to suit them. Instead of worrying about the injustice around the world or better still ignore and make a life. We moan moan moan.
Good luck to everyone.

Don't worry about 9ja, their puppets rule us already so nothing will happen to us lol. They just need puppets around the oil rich countries and they can challenge china then. As it stands China has the strongest economy and US and England are used to being d world power. That is why no one is challenging china even though the Nobel prize winner is locked up illegally lol ( well america and the brits believe they can define legal and illegal )
I hate seeing that witch Hilary clinton on TV saying Gaddaffi should go like say na her papa country, I wish I could contact Gadaffi myself sometimes lol, I do not live in Libya but if their currency is that strong I really don't care how long he has been there. The hypocritical british preaching democracy goes to war without asking the citizens, they make cuts on education and give their MP's more money. There is no democracy but it is crazy to see how brain washed we have been over the years. Anything America and the Brits say is right. cheesy

It is funny how you think the revolution in Egypt is a success. I bet you think it is right that Gadaffi loses out again to the west. You surely have no idea of politics. Why do you think there is unrest in the arab world? Why did you think Mrs Clinton and David Cameron went to Egypt after the President stepped down ?
Oh well I will give you something to think about. 2 Naira was 1 Pound before the Nigerian-Biafran War, in USA and England and the rest of the West supported the Nigerian government and made a deal with them. Therefore no matter who you vote for even if you become the president yourself, you will listen to the west and share the natural resource. The problem is not our government, it is deal they have made !. When Abacha will not follow the deal he was termed a terrorist, now it is Gadaffi who will not sell his oil the way they want it . If anyone was so bothered about human rights why was there no help in Rwanda? or more recently Zimbabwe ? NO CRUDE OIL or great natural resource. I know a lot of you will believe so much in the west and how great they are but I can say for the UK the only thing they have is human management and that goes back to the days of the slave trade. Check this exchange rate  Lib1.00 LYD = 0.501661 GBP so you can see how strong the Libyan Dinar is.  I do not care how long Gaddaffi has been in power, the same circle of people rule in the UK too just like in Nigeria. SO stop being brain washed thinking they are all that. They rip the world to sustain their country.

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries by poetdee1(m): 9:46pm On Feb 20, 2011
suxes2005, they will be paying a deposit definitely there is no way around that. They cannot get a visa letter without it. The question was if after the deposit paid to the university, do they need to reflect the balance in their accounts + the £7200 for maintenance.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries by poetdee1(m): 9:25pm On Feb 20, 2011
Hi justwise, thanks for your reply

They do not have the full payment in the accounts just £7500 each, they intend to live together to cut bills and the likes but they obviously can't say that. Are you suggesting they need the balance of the tuition fees plus the £7200? What if they can get the balance all paid up and have just exactly £7200 left is that any good?

Thanks for your help .

Hi justwise,

I have few questions please.

Two of my mates are planning to come to the U.K. They are brothers and applying to the same university in london. They can proof 7500£ separately in their accounts but will only have paid a deposit to the University not the full amount.

My questions are :

Is there any risk involved in them going to the same university ( submitting almost the same documents etc ) .Secondly, even though they have £300 more than the required maintenance fee they have not paid the full school fees, how will this affect their chances and is £300 over the required amount any good or do they have to have more considering it is a 3 yr degree course.

Thank you

I love this topic, it is cool to hear people start up and get to the UK like 'former' . Do your best to get a first at your uni ( thinking about how much you pay should help ) and then you can get a job and possibly settle in the UK if you want to. Hope you have enough money to spend on fees and rent . You will survive though just try not to b silly, and understand that people will not treat you like we do when they r in Nigeria. I have heard people tell me to go back to my country even though I pay 8750 a year to study here but oh well, just don't be surprised that some people think we live on trees, have no internet and that Africa is a country .

errmm , brings back memories of when I started my visa application, got refused and then got an appeal, it all feels like it was done in a day with no stress now but back then it was hell. If you put your mind to anything you can do it. By the way if you get an appeal there is no point trying to blame the immigration officer ( or whatever they are called ). I was denied because they said my bank statement was fake, it wasn't but I didn't reply asking if they checked and blahblah instead I said it must have been a genuine mistake ,sent another copy and put bank contact details. Human rights in Nigeria is very low so because you blame an immigration officer about not doing their job might result in your appeal being denied.

Anyways good luck to everyone X

Fashion/Clothing Market / Re: Need Quality And Affordable Tm Lewin Shirts Urgently by poetdee1(m): 12:57pm On Jan 18, 2011
Hi, I would like to know if anyone would be interested in buying TM Lewin ( mostly John Farcomb), Austin Reed and Charles Tyrwhitt shirts. I would consider a minimum of 10 shirts and if you buy 20 and above there will be more discount. I understand that you mostly won't be buying this to wear on your own and therefore will make room for you to make some interest if you were to resell.

Anyways, if you are interested or have questions please leave me a message on here or email deepayne@mail.com

Thank you.
