Since you applied feb 4th, you should have tried to get your gcms notes in March/April. I applied got mine exactly 1 month after eligibility review started(i.e. march 17th) and I saw that the pre-assessment was flawed, and since they wrote review required, I quickly responded to it and somehow God made the right VO review my application. May 5th I got a medical request from them.

I think this also to every other person, don’t wait till it is 1 week to your resumption before you start trying to get your gcms notes. Truth is, the review of your application is done quite fast by a Case Analyst, and subsequently a more senior officer goes through your file and the recommendations of the case analyst to make a final decision. If the case analyst writes negative stuffs about you from your gcms notes, you can still appeal before a VO goes through it. This has worked for a few persons, and I think it is a way to go.

Stay blessed! It will end in praise for us all.

Thank you so much for this!

Hello All, How are we doing?

So I received NSE request and I did my IELTS on the 8th of May, my result is out. I prepared for a week but God did it, and i did well.

I am to upload my IELTS result to my application but British council has refused to send the soft copy and they are not receiving visitors in their office because I wanted to go and pick up.

They are saying a dispatch will bring it to my house. I used BC because they had flexible and close test dates, please from you guy's experience does it usually take long to have your IELTS result couriered to you? the deadline for my upload is May 30th.

I will appreciate any advise i can get. Many thanks

Good morning all,

Please after submitting an application and boimetrics, how long does it normally take for eligibility review to start? I'm tired of checking already
I am also waiting to hear what people will say.

Good day all, I've been trying to book appointment for biometrics via the online link since yesterday, I keep getting an error message when I try to login, it says
"username or password are incorrect"
and sometimes it says
"the verification words are incorrect"
I'm sure I got all the inputs correct, don't know if I'm doing something else wrong.
Is there an alternative way for booking, how did y'ull cross this stage?

No one can say. Status might change a week after application or even the day ppr drops. Very unpredictable.

You can go to their Office to pick your result if it has not been dispatched. I did that last week in Abuja and got my result

I feel that for every number of positive response dished out by the Canadian VOs, there is an equal number of negative response also given out. Like, they hold meetings and discuss the number of approvals and rejections for each week/month.
Some of us will just be victims, it's very sad.

Someone can not even say congratulations in peace without feeling guilty for a corresponding rejection.
Sorry about that bro... Can u tell me reason why u were rejected?

Serious? Even the day PPR drops? Then, let me go and rest. Maybe, after 6weeks, I will order of GCMS note.
Thanks for this response

Based on your 12years study Gap, you can't go for an International Relation related Program.

1) Based on your Work experience (running a business), a PG. Cert in a Business related program would be good for you

See the link below for
PG.Cert in Business Related Programs & Colleges offering them

Am also thinking an MBA will be another alternative for you but await the response of the gurus on that

Financial Readiness is very Essential
if you intend starting this. Do await more response to this part from the gurus cos Proof of Funds is very important and now that you wanna move with your kids, you gonna be needing much more money.

Thank you for your response. Can I start the process now even though I don't have a proof of fund yet?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by prada1: 12:09pm On May 17, 2021
Hi Everyone, For biometrics, does it delay the processing time?
Also, does one have to dress corporate to give one's biometrics?
Thanks
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by sympygirl: 12:13pm On May 17, 2021
penitential:
1. Master’s program will be best (academic progression).
2. You can either apply for yourself alone (if the fund will be able to take care of your application without dependants using them as home ties. But if not, get more funds. (Except you have funding/grant).
Also, you’ll show proof of funds alongside other documents for your application.

Thank you for your response. Can I start the application process now even without having the full proof of fund. Please do you have a rough estimate of funds I will require?

Thanks. I actually called the Lagos office this morning and they said due to covid, they are not receiving visitors in their office for now. If i receive no update by Wednesday, i'll have no other choice than to go there on Thursday.

Thing is they will only process applications whose biometrics have been done. Processing time depends on several factors.
There is no dress code when going for biometrics.

Please how do you "respond", "appeal" or "reply" to negative review before a more senior officer reviews your application after getting GCM notes?

My Application is exactly one month old today, can I go ahead and order for it?

By writing a well detailed letter of explanation to tackle one by one the concerns of the case specialist officer, attach docs if necessary

I wouldn’t know I ordered mine 1months plus,
