Hello Everyone.
Good morning.
Just a quick one. I have a degree in Agriculture and a MBA. But i have worked in a bank for almost 15 years. I already applied to schools for a Masters in Agriculture but i feel like i am making a mistake. Do i also apply for courses based on my work experience? Which would increase by chances of having a positive visa outcome?

Thank you.

Hello Pushy8,

While a banking/finance-related program would make your visa application stronger, you could also make a case for a Masters in Agriculture. Please let me know what specific banking experience you have, i.e marketing, funds transfer, etc. This will help shape my advice to you.

Does anyone have a contact at the canadian embassy at Ghana. My visiting visa and pr application have been there for over 2 months. They are not responding to texts. I've done biometrics and medicals. Is there anyone there I can reach to help facilitate the process

I work in the services aspect; Customer service, Financial unit(Cash, Funds transfer etc) and i presently head a branch. I have little or no experience in marketing.

Since you applied feb 4th, you should have tried to get your gcms notes in March/April. I applied got mine exactly 1 month after eligibility review started(i.e. march 17th) and I saw that the pre-assessment was flawed, and since they wrote review required, I quickly responded to it and somehow God made the right VO review my application. May 5th I got a medical request from them.

I think this also to every other person, don’t wait till it is 1 week to your resumption before you start trying to get your gcms notes. Truth is, the review of your application is done quite fast by a Case Analyst, and subsequently a more senior officer goes through your file and the recommendations of the case analyst to make a final decision. If the case analyst writes negative stuffs about you from your gcms notes, you can still appeal before a VO goes through it. This has worked for a few persons, and I think it is a way to go.

Stay blessed! It will end in praise for us all.

What do you mean by pre-asseesment

THANKS a lot.

The UCI is your identity and it never changes...... So fill it out with the one you have, don’t leave it blank. Only first time applicants can leave it blank.
Hope this helps......

I tried and I couldn't login today as well,
Send an email to VFS office to book your appointment.
Specify that you are unable to login, hence unable to confirm available dates, so they should assist with available dates... give a date range.
You can use this format:

Send to email address - info.cannig@vfshelpline.com
Subject - Biometrics Appointment Request

Dear Team,

Kindly assist with scheduling an appointment for my Biometrics (Canada), my details are as follows:

Last Name:
Date of Birth:
Email Address:

Preferred Date:
Looking forward to your prompt response,
Thank you.

I got a reply with my appointment letter which i used for my capturing. I hope this helps.

Good afternoon everyone.....

Please on the webform, the question asking ‘is your application being processed by an office outside Canada’ which answer is applicable the Yes or No? And which office is appropriate to choose among the offices as we know a number of offices attend to applications from Nigeria.

Application was submitted in Nigeria. I hope for a quick response. Thank you.

Thank you for your response. Can I start the process now even though I don't have a proof of fund yet?
I would suggest you don't start yet if you dnt have POF, cos when you apply for admission, and get the admission, the chances of the school asking you to pay TUITION DEPOSIT to reserve your seat is very high. Failure to pay the Tuition deposit within the deadline givien, your Admission would be cancelled.

The only thing you can do now is to select a PG.CERT course of your choice that is related to your field, gather the required documents for the admission and study visa application in advance, then Work towards applying for a JANUARY 2022 (WINTER INTAKE SESSION) pg.cert course for your admission.

Since you are married, await response from the gurus or married members in this platform who got their study visa approved, cos the study visa application of an unmarried applicant can be quite different from the study visa application of a married Applicant based on the documents shown, home ties etc.

What PGD courses are available for one workimg in an insurance company in Nigeria and wanted to study in canada.
Is your Job Insurance related, if yes,

Google search

PG.Cert in Insurance Management
Centennial College, Ontario

PG. Cert in Insurance And Risk Management (IRM1)
Fanshawe College, Ontario

If your Job is not in anyway related to Insurance, but another job e.g Data Analyst, I.T. Engineer etc., go for a PG. Cert program related to that job your are doing

Hello All, How are we doing?

So I received NSE request and I did my IELTS on the 8th of May, my result is out. I prepared for a week but God did it, and i did well.

I am to upload my IELTS result to my application but British council has refused to send the soft copy and they are not receiving visitors in their office because I wanted to go and pick up.

They are saying a dispatch will bring it to my house. I used BC because they had flexible and close test dates, please from you guy's experience does it usually take long to have your IELTS result couriered to you? the deadline for my upload is May 30th.

I will appreciate any advise i can get. Many thanks

Hi,
Based on my own experience, I wrote the CBT on the 17th April, saw my online result on the 23rd and got the hard copy dispatched to me by Monday the 25th
