I've been to SA many times, for every vice or bad habit that you can list of a black person, the whites have it and more, not only in SA but in Europe and America as well. It's called selective conditioning, we all know Nigeria is deeply messed up so seeing these whites from afar or placing them on a high pedestal seems to bring comfort to many Nigerians. The few that are privileged to travel and witness the true state of things end up appreciating their homeland more and see that majority of the whites are just as f*cked up as our black brothers and sisters.

Atleast there's something we agree on. Nigeria is a failed state and therefore they have no other option but declare defeat as black people.

Unfortunately they think it's the same situation all over Africa, but their pride (whatever is left of it as a self proclaimed giant of Africa) won't allow them to admit that other black nations are far ahead of them, while they're refugees in smaller countries like Togo and Benin, not to mention the Ghanas and Senegals of West Africa.

The funny part is that they like projecting their self -hatred and defeat on other black people. Everytime they seem something good in another African country, they rush to throw shades at them ; either insulting their complexion as they always do with the Ghanaians and kenyans ,or attributing whatever good project they see to whites in countries like SA& Namib ,or hailing chinese in another African countries. I find this odd for people who always make noise about how pan- African they are and how much of a proud full black nation they are.
