There is no proof anywhere that Erling Haaland's release clause is 60 M british pounds. I wonder why people keep saying so even though people close to Haaland have refuted this? And, Haaland would have cost Chelsea an excess of 200 M british pounds not the figure you are mentioning here. Haaland's dad was to get 20 M and his agent was to get 30 M - aside from whatever Dortmund would have treated as a meaningful valuation of their player which most people felt was 160 M british pounds. There is a reason other teams (City in particular) stayed away from him.

True it may be false but the rumoured release clause is in euros, €75m–€90m, is still much for a player they bought less than €30m but

Dortmund are known to hike up the fees when they do not want to sell, you think them calling €175m is an evaluation it is called "crazy bid" anyone crazy enough to dare.

If Dortmund wanted to sell or Haaland forced a move, €130m at most €150m can buy him based on his age and contract. Saying there is no proof of a RC is what they said about Werner, till Chelsea paid the €53m, in what world won't Werner have caused €80m or more. You might think there is none because they refused Chelsea's offer of €130m but even if there is none they would probably sell him next season for about 80m with two year left on his contract to a club that Riaola squeezes 400k+ per week from.

Haaland would be lucky to find a trophy winning club that has space for a sole striker next season. Bayern have Lewandoski, Madrid have Benzema and maybe Mbappe, Barca are broke, maybe Juventus or PSG. Either way Chelsea was his best bet, next season his best options would be to join a club that already has a top nine and play in a front two or extend his stay in Dortmund, Dortmund might be aware of this, knowing they could get to extend his contract and insist on not selling, while Riaola is also aware that's why he agreed to the Chelsea approach adding Haaland would leave in 3 or 4 seasons time. (plus if FIFA reduces agents pay out)

For Dortmund it's not about the money, that's why Chelsea didn't submit an official bid. If Chelsea did, the next thing you would hear is Dortmund expect a bid of 200m.
Such an expense for one player doesn't guarantee UCL trophy.
