I strongly believe nobody is against an average Muslim lady wearing hijab at federal government owned schools or Muslim owned schools, the bone of contention have always being Muslim students insisting they will be wearing hijab in christian missionary schools, which they know have principles and guideline which every student of that school must abide by,which wearing hijab is against the rules of the school.
It's a Christian school, and you must respect the ethic and dress code governing the school.
Please get your facts before making comments on this issue. These schools where established by the churches but now taken over and funded by the government. Governments laws now apply to the schools. If the missionaries' wants complete control of the schools, what they should do is take measures to take back these schools from the government. Untill that is done , government rules apply.

Islam is not about Arab. The Turkish are not Arab. Islam' is based on Qur'an and Hadith in which it made it compulsory for women to cover their body. Will you know Islam more than Muslims. Are the Muslims forcing Christians to use Hijab? The answer is No. Then why the hatred over the use of Hijab?

Arabs used islam to promote their culture. Turkey which is an islamic country ( 99%) even banned use of any form of head wears in 1980. Turkish people know hijab is alien to their culture.
Also, until Iranian revolution of 1979 , majority of Iranian muslm women didn’t use hijab. Presently, iran sees arab nations especially saudi as enemy. Iran wants to rule Middle East with its version of islam as opposed to Saudi version.
If you want to control people change their language and mode of dressing. Arabs are still enslaving muslms

I don't see why this is causing an issue
Allow the Muslim girl wear her head covering
Whether public or private school
If it's a Muslim or Christian school with rules on no hijab, then leave their school..simple
All states school must abide and leave unnecessary controversy alone

You are very wrong, multi religious country should not be like that, that is why we have the constitution in place, if you don't want to follow the constitution then close your school/business and move to another country that allows you to carry out your own rules and regulations that doesn't go against their constitution

So what he meant is that i can wear my Christian garments and my Bible and head to any Islamic schools/center so long as it doesn't cause any harm to the Muslim.

Is chorister gown for every Christian?

The people wearing chorister gown only do that in Church right?

For the Hijab, it MUST be use by any righteous Muslim female whenever she is outside be it at work, school, market or during worship.

Therefore, it is not an occasional dress/attire.

If I may ask, why are Nigeria Christians afraid of the Hijab? Inferiority complex I believe.

Even in your church, you guys dress naked all in the name of fashion.
The school in question is a missionary school with ethics and a standard mode of dressing. It's not a question of Christians being afraid of Hijab, but that of obeying rules without compromising standards. To further show how hypocritical you Muslims are, do you allow Christian students to hold prayer meetings or gatherings in your Muslim schools? Even in Ilorin, a government owned secondary school prevented the building of a chapel in the school for Christian students yet a fully erected mosque stands in the school! Your sense of entitlement is purely selfish, you people want to be wearing Hijab in a Christian school and wouldn't extend similar privilege to Christians. If Your ladies want to wear Hijabs go to either Government schools or Islamic schools.

Don't mind them.

Whether Muslims like it or not, their Holy Quran made some confirmation which they don't like to talk about

1. The conception and birth of Jesus Christ was strange.

2. Jesus Christ is the Spirit of God.

3. Among all the prophets in the Quran, it's only Jesus Christ that was described and regarded as Almasiu, the Saviour.

4. Jesus Christ said he would come back but Mohammed said he doesn't know where he was going, not to talk of coming back.

Let me just pause here.

Good morning everyone.

"And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O Jesus!.... Did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah? He (Jesus) will say: "Glory be to You (Allah) ! It was not for to say WHAT I HAD NO RIGHT (to say). ..... You know what is in my inner-self..... NEVER did l say to them aught except what You (Allah) Command me to say: 'Worship Allah my Lord and Lord' .... But when you took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things...... IF YOU (ALLAH) PUNISH THEM (THE CHRISTIANS) , THEY ARE YOUR SLAVES, ......" Q5: 116 - 118.

Wallahi, I swia Christianity and CHRISTIANS are problems for themselves in the day of Judgement.

I don't know how old you are because this question surprised me.

It's totally different from subject matter

Answer me, can Bowen and convenant university EMPLOY MUSLIM AS LECTURER?

This is different from the discussion, UI, FUTA, FUTO, LASU, UNIBEN and sort can NEVER deny Muslims or Christian of their fundamental human rights.

So why is it hard in Government owned primary and secondary schools?

NO GOING BACK IN USING HIJAB IN SCHOOLS AS LONG AS IT'S GOVERNMENT OWNED irrespective of the name
that school belongs to the methodist church... Correct me if am wrong

It is their right to wear Hijab.
But
It is also the school right to maintain its christian principles.

If the school says no Hi jab
Then create your own school and enforce Hi jab.

I am a christian and I believe we should all dress moderately ,and appropriately .

But when some people want.to enforce their own religious values upon another adherent of other faith in a organized setting like a school then it is a no no .

Christians have their beliefs and the other side should respect that .

There's nothing like Nigerian constitution. What we have is fulani constitution.

I can't understand why muslims would want to do things to Christians, that they would clearly not allow, if the reverse were the case.

Muslim students should restrict themselves to Islamic schools and leave missionary schools alone if they can't abide by their rules. But expecting that Adamumu or any of his kinsmen to be reasonable is like expecting a pig to bathe itself every morning.
Bunch of r£tards

If you expect a jihadist conquerer to be reasonable then you must be very disappointed. If he becomes reasonable how do you expect him to win jihad.

It's not like they don't know the right thing to do, they know, but how do you expect them to do the right thing and carry on with the jihad at the same time It's not possible and never will it be.

Telling or preaching to a Muslim to know and live in peace is like telling him to stop jihad.

How do you expect a fish to survive without water So how do you expect a good muslim to abandon jihad

QUR'AN and hijab predated the entity called Nigeria. Therefore, there is no Nigeria that will abolish QUR'AN and hijab.
Any county that handles QUR'AN's directive is not, and can never bear the title of Epitome of Islam.
Islam did not ask non muslim to wear hijab.

Wear it in your mosque and house. Don't wear it to a place that doesn't accept it. The qur'an does not predate Christianity nor does it predate human civilization or common sense
