Some hotel charge for one night, while some say pay at the hotel but they still need to charge your card to know if is not a stolen card and you must have some money inside the card but they will not deduct your money

Don't pay for flight reservation oooo I didn't pay for flight reservation

meljoe:

Ah wait ? You must pay for flight reservation and hotel reservation ? Is that not a huge risk ?

Very affordable and located at the center heart of Paris

Congrats.. though you have some good history i believe this is your first Schengen visa, if yes then start with this and in the next application request for a longer period backed with some reasons for a longer duration.

Example: A longer period can be some Tourism and business trips inbetween for say 3months or 6months or 1 year but you have to request for it and prove it.

As for the future date, was this the date you filled as the planned date of arrival to the Schengen region?

Beverlyhills:
Please buy 1 month travel insurance.. i believe your flight routing is spaced for a month. VFS will vet it first, save yourself the hassles...

Please do you mean flight routing for the one I’m submitting to the embassy and filing in the visa form or when I actually want to buy flight ticket to go
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 11:33am On Mar 05, 2022
Yes the one you are submitting.

Oh wow , Thank GOD I haven’t submitted yet

Because I wrote 2 weeks already but I’m buying 1 month insurance

I will change it to 1 month now

But 1 month is it not much for a Easter holiday plus I’m still going to the USA from there ?

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mialate: 12:33pm On Mar 05, 2022
The flight reservation you will submit to VFS...

If you are staying for 2 weeks and you bought a one month insurance then your flight reservation from lagos to france to the US to lagos should show you are staying in france for 2 weeks. If it doesnt tally , the VFS staff vetting will request for a new one.

Your hotel booking should also show 2 weeks stay.

Flight Reservation Example

LOS- CDG - 7th- 21st
CDG - JFK - 21st - whenever you are staying
JFK - LOS- you decide.

Dont mix it up.
