Historically, economically powerful cities have been one where people of different tribes and origin conglomerate or meet each other.

Port towns, trading routes etc. These were places that would grow to be the most economically viable settlement.
Nigeria needs to get her leadership right. If we become more politically conscious as a group, we would elect the right people.

Nobody argued that a nation of one race or religion or tribe will will be successful, but there isn't a single successful nation in the world today that doesn't have a dominant culture shared by the majority of its population.

You simply cannot build a successful nation without a dominant culture, It's impossible. That's why we are seeing countries in Europe disintegrate into smaller countries coalescing around a shared culture and identity.

I live in the UK, which despite sharing a single passport and head of state, is actually a union of 4 different countries, with literally 4 governments and even 4 national football teams. The Scottish still held a referendum on whether to leave the union finally only a few years ago.

Ireland is an Island, but the Northern part of the country who are mostly members of the Church of England decided to join the UK, the Southern part of the country who are mostly catholic decided to declare independence from UK and form their own country. The UK itself decided that it had had enough of being part of the EU and decided to bounce. Northern Ireland is no longer in the EU. Republic of Ireland is, and they both share one Island.

In my lifetime, 14 new countries have been formed in Europe and I'm in my 30s. . Between 2006 and 2008, only one country in Europe broke into Serbia, Montenegro, and Kosovo.

Banning Guns in America like Uk is never going to happen. America is a nation of smaller countries (states) that have the ability to tell the federal government to fuc..k off. It's not like a european country where a single body makes all the laws and therefore all law enforcement is subject to that single body. This makes implementation of these laws much easier.
