You shouldn't say Peter Obi doesn't have structure in the grassroot but rather say Labour Party doesn't have a structure but if you look indebtly you'd understand that this very man you speak of without a structure was a member of PDP & APGA even to be considered a vice presidential candidate to Atiku,
a position Wike couldn't get so in terms of being known Peter is know globally but the question here is will the south this time be so f##lish to let the north use their population sentiments to impose Tinubu and Atiku on us? Politics aside Peter Obi is better than the later mentioned
TooNoisy:
Keep deceiving yourselves. Peter Obi will not get 25% in any northern state. He is unknown over there.

He is not known in Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, Ondo and Oyo. No chance of him getting 25% in these SW states.

He wouldn't get 25% in Edo and Delta for sure. Oshiomole/Obaseki will secure Edo for APC/PDP. Okowa will secure Delta for PDP as he is on the ballot.

Obi cannot win any South South State. Udom will secure Akwa Ibom for PDP. Duoye Diri will do same in Bayelsa. Wike will probably join APC or at least remain in PDP. Cross Rivers will be split between 3 parties.

Most of the people of the southeast refused to vote since 2015 because they knew that non worthy presidential candidates were on the ballot papers.

If a Rochas Okorocha, Ike Ekweremadu, Orji uzo Kalu, are on the ballots of 2023 presidential election, most of the Igbos will not care to register to vote.

WHICH EVER WAY YOU CARE TO LOOK AT IT, THE SLOGAN SENDS A VERY SIMPLE PSYCHOLOGICAL MESSAGE MEANING PETER OBI IS A WASTE TOO, JUST LIKE ROCHAS OKOROCHA, IKE EKWEREMADU, ORJI UZO KALU IN THE ARENA OF NIGERIA'S POLITICS. WHICH INDEED IT IS THE REALITY UNLESS WE WANT TO DECEIVE OURSELVES LIKE OSINBANJO'S SUPPORTERS.

You're still speaking grammar, even if divine miracle happens and Obi happened to get 50-60% of the votes from the South, the North is bound to finish him because he is very weak up North. The people you should be worrying about don't really use social media, even witht he bombings and chaos they see thier lives as perfect. One sermon/speech from their religious, political or traditional ruler is all it takes to vote for the Northern candidate. Those who review actual data would tell you that from the last two presidentgial elections three Northern states combined brought in more votes than 10 Southern states combined......No be juju be that?

Well..it is up to the northerners. Seriously I vividly remember how massacres were a daily occurrence around Benue, it got to an extent the governor became helpless and hopeless, many were killed, let alone southern kaduna, abi Niger kidnapping of school children. Frankly many Nigerians have every reason to react to this election, like I said I won't believe the online noise until it gets close to election but I believe many Nigerians had it sooo bad these years that they shouldn't go lackadaisical with the incoming election

Trust omo ibo at your own peril.

The solution to their problems is not PVC.
Nigeria has a foundational problem which no election can solve.
Regional government is the solution.

In bold.

Condemning aggressive campaigns is now the tool of the criminal politicians with structures on ground in PDP and its brother, APC.
When their inadequacies are exposed, they claim aggressive campaigns are deployed against them.

Who is fooled by their antics?

Seriously I don't think Nigeria has ever had it worse than this Buhari regime. A lot of things found a new level of worse form and too many killings and deaths. No Nigeria should treat the election with kid gloves.

I wish but what can a righteous do when the foundation is faulty..

I can't assume that one person can change this country because the whole system is corrupt..

Most of us accusing Electorates of selling their votes crosses the road when there is pedestrian bridge, buys admission, buys job/appointment, buys contract, sells fake products/services etc..

The kind of change we need in nigeria start from individual and Gods intervention.

No governor can embezzle public funds without the help of certain civil servants .

Is it the hunger. insecurity, economy, education etc just name one thing that has been right for people to decide to give these "scavengers" another 8 years. Obi might not be saint but we need to break the duopoly if we have any chance of moving forward. In Nigeria, the victory at the presidential polls is sum total of the effort of local political heavyweights in their wards and constituencies. That's structure. Does Labour Party or Peter Obi Campaign Organization has local political influencers all over Nigeria? Even the negative tendency of vote buying still require structure to accomplish.

Another major challenge facing Peter Obi is that he is the sole financier of his presidential bid. And presidential campaign sure requires massive funding with substantial leakages caused by people who would collect money without doing assigned task. Can Peter Obi open up his wallet wide when winning is not 100%?

At the bolded, no he's not. I'm a financier. Many people are donating to the cause. A friend of mine used his own money to purchase a sienna he'd use for campaign activities.

Bro if you'll be honest, you know currently, no political figure in Nigeria at the moment, controls this kind of loyalty and goodwill from the populace, except Kwankwaso.

Guy, calm down. Wait until the electioneering campaign starts. You'd be amazed. I'm donating big time towards his election. I've been in touch with some of my colleagues in the diaspora too who said they'd also donate. Thanks to Daramola my padi, a fellow yorubas man and a colleague in Buffalo, upstate NY back in our Msc days. This election is about the masses and not the elite few, those who have succeeded in destroying Nigeria yet, pretend as if everything is OK.

Who kangaroo structure epp? Ask mimiko how he won Ondo election without an existing single local government chairman under same labour party, in a state governed by a ruling PDP. Not only did he defeat the pdp without the so called atructure, he also defeated Adegoroye, the then candidate of Tinubu's political party. I repeat who structure epp?

My definition of a political structure is when you have the majority, who are mainly theasses on your side, those who would vote and defend it. Those are the real structures and nor those serving the moneybags and thugs who parade themselves as reps of political parties. Just be patient. You're running faster than the referee.

What structure are we talking about self if NNPP alien with Labour party is totally game over for APC And PDP nothing will make them win like this APC can never win in SE,SS is it PDP That will win LP IS TAKING OVER THIS REGION MADLY LIKE A WARLING FIRE!!

Keep this:

1. Peter Obi will not get 10th of the votes in the South West
2. He will not get 5% of the votes in the north (all 3 geo-political zones put together)
3. He will get less than 40% in the South South
4. He will get more than 80% in the east.

The truth is, in the current set-up, no Igbo man is trusted enough to hold the number one position in the country.

However, Peter Obi's efforts now will finally pave the way for the Igbo nation in 2039. By then, Ndigbo would have learnt how to build bridges and reach out to other ethnic nationalities in the entity called Nigeria. Ndigbo should watch out again for the South South as the latter might want to snatch it again from them.

Go read about Economic revolutions in Europe. Revolution will always happen, whether Economic or political. When you oppress the masses so long they get to a point were they say enough is enough.

If Nigerians are ready to say that "Enough is Enough" Obi will neither need any structure nor money. The masses will fight for themselves in his favour.

Its called, POLITICAL REVOLUTION

Its looming, Nigerians may likely say enough is enough...the sufferrings are becoming unbearable...

History will always repeat itself in the world.....

You are coming from the viewpoint of the regular Nigerian politics. But people are saying they are no longer going to go the old political way.

As for funding, why do you confidently claim that he's the sole financier of his political bid, when a lot of people are queuing to donate to his campaign, I inclusive?

It is only by stopping it that Nigeria will grow. But if you are going to be realistic, you'll identify the urgent need for Labour Party's presence in all polling units across the country, and not just its presence, but the presence of those who will ensure the party's votes count, whether in the sandy polling units of Daura, Katsina or the river areas of Ilaje, Ondo, whether around Ilela border areas or Maigatari in Jigawa.
There are factors that have to be considered. And once considered, ways around them can be drawn and implemented within record time to assure of victory.

He is not going to win. Period. It's between atiku and tinubu and yes, i absolutely don't like that prospect

This is what I’ve been trying to explain to these folks living in denial. I don’t like either of the two popular notorious candidates but the truth here is that Nigeria is not yet ripe for a third force radical takeover. What's just nauseating here is the saintly presentation of Peter Obi like he's not one of the many problems bedeviling this dying country. This mofo governed the country's smallest state by landmass, with relatively good federal allocation, for good 8 years with nothing tangible to show other than wanton killing of youth under his watch yet you want me to pick him ahead of another thief with a relatively good résume (Lagos being ahead of Nigeria in terms of economic growth)cheesy. Sadly, if you dare question their inept thinking, they turn it into tribal war; you’re automatically tagged Tinubu's urchin or Fulani cheesy
Wise people face the truth squarely and don't live in denial, no one is hating on your Obina, it’s just unfortunate that we’re faced with choosing between the devil and the deep blue sea. There’s nothing like a third force cruising to unmerited victory come 2023. You can take that to the bank. Stop hyping this guy like he is not one of the many political thieves we are collectively fighting. In fact, I would prefer to waste my vote on people like Nnamdi Kanu, Omoyele Sowore or even Igboho (should anyone of them decides to run for the highest office) ahead of this Anambra scam pretending to be some saint Thomas Aquinas with no dent
