That highline was what killed us. I wanted to speak about it yesterday but it escaped my mind.

That early goal with Vinicius sprinting all the way to Ter Stegen was one prime example of our highline not working. Stupid Busquets allowed Kroos to move, someone he should have fouled since he couldn't get the ball and sensed that the play was dangerous. Our players were caught off guard as he released that ball for Vinicius.
Something they should have anticipated.

Honestly I don't know why we continue playing high line against fast teams when we know we don't have the personnel due to injuries.
Sitting deep as well is our best bet.

But Xavi brain no dey reason that one.

Xavi has shown his inexperience which we all feared for at the beginning of time, even when we play our highline, is it not for mostly cross and nod football? You have to be tactically flexible, knowing when to sit deep and go all out, reading the game and adjusting your tactics to it's flow, The last time he did this was against bayern, See how ancelloti used tiki taka to slow us down minutes after benzema scored and also in the second half, I come dey wonder where all our passing drills and experience had vaporized to
