There's literally no way that a Peter Obi presidency can live up the expectations some of his fans are heaping on his head.

I don't believe he will win, but I believe if he does, he would wish he hadn't, and Obidients will have to deal with the shock of reality.

As a politician, it is always better to be underrated than overrated. If you don't curb your enthusiasm and manage your expectations, you will be in for a rude awakening.

I take no pleasure in saying this.

But isn't Peter Obi already underrated?

His detractors have said:
-He has no structure.
- He's no godfather who has politicians knowtowing to him.
- An LP-less NASS would frustrate him.
-The old guard would frustrate him.
- Northerners would always make a Southern President's tenure hellish for him.

We already know what he'd be up against.

But we also know he's not a thief. And given the monies and resources stolen daily in this country, if we block the drainpipe, we'd have enough money to fix a number of things. Like settle ASUU and fund education properly to begin with.

First, we want to make sure a thief doesn't get to Aso Rock this time and the only person who does has no embezzling tag on him.

APC has revised their timetable and PMB will play an integral role henceforth. While BAT was in Abuja attending a National Youths Gathering chaired by Gov. Yahaya Bello, Shettima was in Jigawa solidifying APC structures across the Emirates.

Politics beyond online permutations, hardworks are done offline not online. Both APC and PDP are doing serious work offline, especially at rural places.

Okowa has been touring round his State. He's getting his Structures in shape to ensure at least 2m votes are delivered for his Principal.

What has Datti been doing for his Principal? Doyin Okupe has been more active than him. He barely follows Obi to rallies, so what is he bringing to the table for Labour Party?

May the best candidate that gonna fix Nigeria for real emerge, and I hope its Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Buhari built infrastructure, improve our armed forces but at the expense of our economy.
I am happy he's distancing himself from BAT rallies, coz it would have been difficult to sell BAT candidacy with him spearheading the Campaigns... grin

And talking about NASS not supporting an Obi presidency, I mean you look all around the south and you see the south littered with candidate of other parties proudly using obi's picture side by side with theirs.

What does that tell you?
I mean, you have candidates of APC in imo state using obi's picture to campaign on billboards, same thing with some PDP candidates in Port Harcourt and calabar.

So if these candidates do win their seats now, does that not signal that irrespective of parties they already know who they are working with??

I keep telling you folks that the significance and implications of an Obi presidency is too massive to be rationalized. That victory changes the entire political space in Nigeria. Especially for one like ours where there are no clear ideological divides amongst the political parties.
This post is "goated".

It depends on where you collected from

If you collected in Enugu, it is in Obi's favour

I can't say the same if it is in Toto local government in Nassarawa state

grin grin grin. Of all local governments in Nigeria, why did you pick that as an example?

Sigh..... Do you guys understand my question at all? You said I rejoice with the news of PMB being an Integral part of BAT Rallies henceforth. I asked for the proof [from same post], you're bringing old post where I said I am happy PMB ain't actively part of the Rallies.

Please, how do they correspond? Where in the Post you quoted I express joy, is it that hard to grab the question?

I guess cos I shared the information here, it automatically means I'm joyful over it? LMFAO! Obidients can never change, no matter hard you try to be cool wiht them.

I made post clearly discuss activities of the 3 major Contestants offline, but its Oasis is joyful with PMB that caught attention? LOL!

Datti not being actively part of Obi rallies never caught attention. Okowa cooking to get 2m votes minimum in Delta never caught attention.

Alas! Oasis is happy PMB finally joins the train. Well its not a surprise.

Collected by PVC today, took less than an hour, one thing was clear, this drive in PVC collection is to Peter Obi's favor, he'd win most of the new voters.

Soo happy to hear this! Much love to you bro. May God grant us our heart desires. If this election is free and fair, Obi wins it hands down. It becomes obvious by 12 noon that day.

I love what I'm really seeing from the educated Yorubas and the Yoruba elite. Afe babalola, pa ayo Adebanjo, president Obasanjo, dele farotimi, babatunde gbadamosi etc.

All these men have essentially ensured that the educated elite move beyond tribal sentiments and it's joyful to behold. It gladdens the heart.

Just see this new voter's post here. kiss kiss kiss

kimjongJezebel:
The Jimi Adebayo's family has now gotten all their PVCs, 5 in total. My two sisters are first time voters. All 5 PVCs are now for Balogun Omowale Peter Adebayo obi.

Our parents resisted and have always wanted to vote Emilokan but my two sisters did a good job to convinced them to change their minds. Not easy to change old peoples' minds about their beliefs but we did it. APC gave us a sick Emilokan who can't make a coherent speech instead of an intelligent man like Osinbajo. However it turns out, we'll be at peace that we did our part to change the system.

May God bless all Obidients!

Even this Lagos, won't be surprised if PO cracks 40% of votes cast. As long as BAT doesn't deploy his boys to harass voters, PO would crack 40%.

Obi 40% in Lagos?

So what will Atiku get and what will BAT get?
