The families should sue BRT (though it will be hard as na staff matter) .

If the driver is alive, he should be prosecuted for criminal negligence and manslaughter.

I dont know if its primero or lsbl that's running Lagos State staff bus

Which company are we talking about here

Brt doesn't have any connection with that particular bus it's owned by the staff of lagos state, they fuel the bus, do maintenance by joint collection, they also park the bus in a central goverment owned school where they converge every morning
I agree they can sue the driver as an individual but what is BRT business in this?

You are right.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 10:42am On Mar 09, 2023
Unfortunately some people will not die but end up permanently disabled from the incident. I just hope the Lagos state government have insurance policies to cater for their loss.

The videos I've seen from the scene of the incident are really terrible to say the least.

All the stories have described the bus as brt. And brt drivers are reckless and constantly endangering other drivers. If it is not a brt bus, then like you said, it is on the driver.

And it comes back to the other problem where drivers are not screened or trained.

Now I remember, Lagos has an on and off enforcement of training for commercial drivers. Once you are a commercial driver in lagos you are supposed to have a particular, yearly license outside of the standard one.

I will not say rip to the dead. I will ask what can be done to prevent this from happening in the future.

If the driver had gotten away with it, the matter would have ended there. No one would have reported him and he would have continued until he eventually killed someone.

You know the crazy bus driver in your office. Report him before he does something like this

And there partially lies the problem. They should have sacked the driver the first time it happened.

Fvcking idiot... congratulations on your 7years of being on politics threads and in the heat of it,come have a medal.

Wetin ijaws still do you,did they call Lagos no man's land too or they developed lagos? Why the hatred? Old and middle age fools like you who came all the way from Ilorin, oshogbo kuku lump all southerners together as "Omo yee*bos

Between 2016 to 2018, there was bunkering of petrol pipelines in lagos. It occurred in ikorodu, and in festac. It was allegedly carried out by ijaws from ondo. It was a very very very terrible time.

They actually deployed the army to stop them. The road blocks are still here to this day .

These guys bunkering were former militants and they were armed to the teeth. We would wake up at 3am to the sound of heavy machine gun fire. It was so bad that the air force eventually attacked the camps in ikorodu.

When it got too hot for the militants to bunker, they went after banks. They attacked diamond Bank. A young mother in her house died from a stray bullet.

It was a terrible and frightening time for everyone in the ikorodu and festac axis

In ikorodu there were even reports of girls being kidnapped into sexual slavery by the bunkerers

This is why I call you a simpleton who reads without understanding context and nuance.

I am sure you would have nothing but nice things to say about marauding herdsmen even in a context where their actions directly affect you.

Since you are such a nice humanist well adjusted human being tongue

Above is sarcasm

Most likely the BRT fault because the train is still on its rail track. The train didn't didnt derail.

It's always painful when avoidable accident like this happen.

It is hardly ever a trains fault unless the driver ignores a red light which is usually due to an obstacle on the track

It may be the signallers fault for not informing the bus, or the bus drivers fault for trying to rush through

Tataffo what do you think of the herdsmen on FP who allegedly raped and killed a pregnant woman?

I hope you have no comments that lump all herdsmen together in your history. tongue

I have better things to do with my time so I am certain the words head slammer, marauder, etc do not exist in your post history

Bros, like I had stated to you previously it is wrong to tag a whole ethic based on the action of a few, except ofcourse you are doing it on purpose to get reactions.

There are good & bad people in every ethnic.
