What about ensuring that doctors are paid proper allowances, have adequate equipment, and have much better work conditions. The people will benefit this way.

Trying to force them to stay back will ultimately not benefit anyone.

I’m not against the govt providing better working conditions and remunerations for them. I’m only telling you that amount you called is not feasible even if you cut those politicians allowances.

Yeah, she has. I just asked her and she told me they actually contacted her that it was ready last December, but she wasn't in the country. That is still about 2.5yrs since retirement though. According to her it takes about 2 years to move up the waitlist so i suspect 2021 retirees are yet to be paid. Na turn by turn.

Another thing is that Lagos State short-changed them. Their colleagues who retired in other states like Ogun, Oyo, Ondo e.t.c are getting far more. Something to do with one conversion they did some years back (around 2007) in the pension scheme. Several millions disappeared into the air for everybody when they moved over to contributory pension.
