Haba 5th year for what na? She is ready right now. Well she might be able to make NIL money since she is a star player who has also been to a world cup but outside that I would prefer her in a pro side.

Well from what i have seen Halimatu is the best passer on the team. Christy should leave that Benfica if they won't let her improve her attacking skills. She was a much better passer before she got to that club but they only use her to do athletic stuff.

Echegini going for 5th year at FSU is what have held till date, I just hope that isn’t true cause she’s ripe enough for Pro football and also for the Big Clubs in Europe..!

I doubt this Halimatu Ayinde as the best Passer in the team, She’s arguably among the top ball passer in the team but again Echegini beat her hands down in that aspect, Maybe you should take some time and see Echegini passing side of the game…

As for Christy I was Surprised she signed till 2026 for Benfica before coming for the World Cup.. She really need to work on her passes which is her Weakness! Anyway a Club that wants her will definitely Spend the Money to have her..! Just fine tune her Passing then she would be rated among the likes of Patri, Lena Oberdorf and Kiera Walsh even though I can boldly say she’s better than them defensively..

Ever since the world cup come people have made it an obligation to make fake news regarding the super falcons. I first saw áshanto pledges for Nigeria, now it's Vicky Lopez.

Not sure she's rightly positioned for NIL deals. Even with her world cup appearance, she's vastly unpopular. She's also not very active on socials, as a matter of fact, she started her Instagram page after she joined the Super Falcons. Prior to that she had none. She also isn't the first college player to get featured in a world cup so that again doesn't make her peculiar. Nicole's USC teammate Olufolasade Adamolekun was at the 2019 world cup a lot more college students attended this year.

Methinks she's choosing to exercise her fifth year because she probably hasn't gotten a good offer. She probably will seriously consider with a deal from England, France or Spain.

Concerning her Social Media Accounts especially her Instagram was on private before until she joined the SuperFalcons and made it public, deleted her old posts and left the one of her invite to the Canada friendly
I’m aware of offers from Austria 🇦🇹 and France 🇫🇷 and this present Juventus news.. But again Playing for FSU is certainly not a mere feet, her NCAA games and the Friendly games she played pro to the World Cup should speak for her too..

That explains it, cause she was like a ghost prior. Not sure who advices pro players to set Instagram accounts to private. How do you grow followership? Anam Imo is currently doing same thing.

She shouldn't go Austria sha, France is a good place to.begin she however probably have reservations cause the club isn't a top club. Wishing her the best

Well let's wait and see, if it is about offers I am surprised no one has come for her yet.

She barely had 10 passes na there is no way she beat Halimatu hands down. I can only remember one bad Ayinde pass in the whole shebang. I am not saying Jenny can't pass but Halimatu is definitely the best on the team.

As for Christy it has to come from the club. They have to give her the liberty to express herself

NIL is basically schools paying for players with the help of corporations. A player of her caliber coming back for a 5th season is a big deal. They can always work something out to get her some extra cash. I heard Randy say Deborah sends money back home. She definitely doesn't have a job in Pittsburgh so that's the NIL in play.

What u are talking about is individual NIL. Something like my girl Angel Reese has at LSU.

NIL is primarily individual. Yes there are cases where teams pay players when their image gets used for an AD or something, but compared to individual NIL it isn't significant.

Individual NIL is the one that will make an athlete think twice about going pro. Catlin Clark, Angel Reese and Cameron Brink for instance are eligible for the WNBA draft next year. Many however think they might wait an extra year cause they'll earn 10X more staying in college tha going pro. NIL money especially for big stars is "blood money".

It can be very significant. This is why other established players have joined LSU this off-season. Just being in the program put u in front of more eyes than you would have somewhere else. The school will facilitate way more opportunities also. U have to remember that when Angel was in another college she wasn't coming close to the numbers she is doing now.

FSU will let their sponsors know how important Jenny's return to school is and the sponsors will send money her way. FSU is a big school that has not been doing much lately. She would be one of the biggest stars on campus. I am sure there will be a lot of money for her to make.

Onome Ebi during an Instagram Live a few days ago said she hasn't ruled out going for the next world cup. She says she's currently the only one positioned to go to 7 world cups (male or female) as every other person she's currently tied with has retired. She said all she needs to do is work on her body to meet up with the requirements.

As shocking as I was to hear this, I wasn't surprised. Point is Onome won't leave until you push her out. She's obviously banking on her people at the NFF to keep her in the team.

Very very important before Madam starts pushing agenda for record 7th WC

It was just a week or two ago I mentioned this. Her time in the NT is up and her usefulness is totally diminished.

She should humbly and proudly retire now instead of being pushed out forcefully which I believe will eventually happen cus if she wanted to retire, she would have done so immediately after the WC

Of the 14 players you listed, only Nicole Payne, Chinyere Kalu, Oyenezide, Rinsola, Evelyn and Mbadi are worth spending any time on.
The others are either too old or simple not good enough, as they have underwhelmed.
That U20 keeper during the recent WAFU cup, Jumoke Alani, Ajakaiye and Bello should be the focus of our Next gen SF.

I really don’t know what you continually see in that Okeke keeper. For me, she has proven to be very poor, lacking in the basic fundamentals of goalkeeping.

Why stop at 7? She should aim for 8 so we can be sure it's unreachable. And oh, we shouldn't stop at her, We should extend same gesture to Oluehi and other folks. Theirs may not be breaking record world cup attendance, but I'm pretty sure there are goals that are personal to them that they aim to reach. Keeping them on.the team obviously won't hurt anybody, it's just a few spot.

No. She has more than earned that right. Just like we give Randy his flowers let's not forget Onome is the captain of this team. If she reacted like some of us here we would never have made it past the Oshoala captaincy issue. Really harsh words were said but she brushed everything off and maintained peace in the ranks. Plus, when she got on the pitch she never looked out of place.

But let me better say my point. As of right now I don't have an issue with Onome going to the world cup but things can change in 4 years. I remember Chidinma Okeke being the most promising young player coming out the 19 wwc but sadly injury had other ideas.

I put it straight to you that Onyi Okeke is arguably one of the best Goalkeeper in the NWFL, Her height is a great plus, good in penalties her only weakness which am aware of was that she fumbles when not expected which she has certainly worked on over past years.. She has been in and out of the SuperFalcons set up, With the Aging of Tochukwu Oluehi and Yewande Balogun I guess she’s best in position to get one of the spots..

As for current U20 goalkeeper Anderline Mgechi, I think she have to prove her worth at the U20 World Cup for us to see more of her qualities, unlike Okeke who was groom from U17, to U20 and more like a fringe in the SuperFalcons…

Those guys at Nff have given ego coins to some of the players in this falcons team and it's not supposed to be so. Physical fitness is one, tactical is another. Hilarious that she thinks that is all she needs to meet up. Says alot.

AkinDS if I may ask did you watch Okeke from the U17 down to the U20 and any of her recent matches??

Go into the NWFL list of goalkeepers right now and will pick Okeke among the top3 best Nigeria have in the League..

Christy Ohaeriaku, Obia Christiana, Anderline Mgechi are the few goalkeepers in the league we can pick out right now..

Omilana came back from U17 World Cup and couldn’t get back her spot back at Club level till season ended. She couldn’t make the last U20 WAFU Squad too, I jus hope she gets it right as most persons here see her as one for the future..

U sound small minded. That record could help African players for years to come. It contradicts the narrative of our players slowing down at older ages. This is not just about Onome Ebi to me. Maybe it is to u cos u already claim she is banking on the NFF when we all know Waldrum selected this team by himself.
