I sent my passport through Lagos VFS on Thursday 17th Aug 2023, i got mail notification. The last email i received from VFS was on friday which says that my passport has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja OC on Fri Aug 18 2023 and is in transit to the IRCC Office in Abuja OC for processing. From that time till now, i have not received any other mail notification. Who else is in this situation? What can i do to get the exact location. I have also tracked on VFS tracker and the information on it is similar to what i have above.

How long will it take my passport to get to IRCC? Should i be worried?

Secondly the Pof I intend to use is mutual funds account which is a joint account with my husband and also my husband’s bank statement. Will this be okay or should I redeem the funds in the joint account to my personal salary account. Is it advisable to use our four mutual fund statements, or i should redeem from three and collapse into one. The investment accounts are funded monthly from our salary account. Please advise.

My people, please help a brother. I submitted SOWP application for myself, SP and VV for my kids on the 21st of July. I did upfront medical and submitted with application. Till now it has not been updated. I noticed review of eligibility commenced two day ago. The problem is, I cannot view the status of the application on IRCC tracker and I don't have peace of mind about it. Kindly help a brother my people.

I believe this is their new way of processing applications. Everything will be uploaded on the same day as the PPR by God’s grace. I have seen two similar cases.

Let's just chill and keep our hopes high.

I have not been settled since that time. I actually expected to be receiving messages daily as to where the passport currently is. Both offices are within Abuja, so i am worried about what could cause the delay.

This people are not that organised and can forget to send mails at times, saying from a friend's experience. He got tired of waiting for mails and went to vfs for collection without any message, that was when he knew that his passport was ready for collection for over a week without getting any message.

My wife(student) is in express entry pool,
Me husband also in express entry pool.
She got her study permit while I got my SOWP.
We were also thinking of withdrawing our EE profile when we wanted to submit our study permit, but we just left it like that and we didn't want to make it look like we deleted the EE because of the study permit
