I used to think this Reno has sense.

So I can attend UNILAG, graduate with a 2.1 in Economics, misplace my certificate, request for a new one and then refuse to go and collect it.

Rather, I get a good graphic artist to help me design a similar one, and putting the names of people who were not in the school at the time as signatories, then present it to INEC.

The fact that UNILAG confirms that I attended the school validates my graphic artist certificate? Something must be wrong with Reno mentally, now I know.

Reno Omokri is totally correct here... Tinubu graduated from that school, and that should more than suffice.


Still, as a matter of principle and ethics, he should have told INEC these things from the beginning (That the document he was presenting was not the original one awarded by the institution), and he should have had dignity and respect for the office he was contesting for to have obtained the proper documentation rather than forging.

Which Error? Buhari couldn't find his certificate and waec issued a statement of result with his current passport on it and affixed with waec stamp, to authenticate it. During admission in those days as jambite. My GCE statement of result wasn't available but I went to waec office who issued a confirmation of result to me at a token and sent it to my school. I had to write the GCE cos one of my key subjects was withheld by waec. Virtually everyone in my cenrre was affected. That's what I used for my registration. It landed in my department and confirmed by my HOD, to whom it was addressed by waec.

The Tinubu's case was totally different. Instead of proceeding to CSU for a replacement, either in transcript or in whatever form, as he claimed he had lost the original, he went and forged the one he presented. He shot himself in the leg by doing so.

Again, he didn't attend the children's home school, where he claimed he graduated from in Ibadan. I don't know how the judiciary would interpret all these in his favour. He's no different from salisu buhari who also forged a Toronto University certificate. If salisu could be so humiliated and removed as law maker, what are we saying here?

However they try to twist things Tinubu deserves to be ousted and arrested to serve as deterrent to future forgers. Nobody stopped anybody from presenting only clean certificate which is why others presented only WAEC to avoid stories that touch. I cannot forge drivers license because I can drive even though I lost my license.

So what is the use of court affidavit? Why did they not present that? So any body can go and forge a certificate because he/she claimed on assumption?
