Fuel goes up from 145-600 , that's over %400. Dollar from $500-$1500 , %300. Why can't they pay workers at least %200? 102 Likes 1 Share |

Why is Tinubu pricing and haggling over the amount to pay as the minimum wage, like market women haggling over the price of crayfish? 99 Likes 2 Shares |

The FG and State Govt is being unreasonable to workers. Fuel is between N850 to N1200 now, transport costs has skyrocketed, and they are worried about inflation caused by wage increase? When the inflation is already biting us hard? 17 Likes |

Policies that will be of benefit to the citizens and makes the common man breathe, they suspend indefinitely. Policies that will give room for corruption and make funds available for looting, it's approved expressly without due process.w 10 Likes |

Labour should manage the one they see. I appreciate Tinubu for even taking it from 30K to 60K. If its Buhari govt he won't add more than 10K to the 30K. If you talk Buhari will creat a parallel labour union to weaken the body. |

Everybody seems to be supporting this labour demands now hmmm. My question is how many percent of Nigerian work force are employed by government? Who will pay people under private sector and SME their own minimum wage? Are we ready for the kind of hyperinflation that will make what we are currently facing look like child's play this labour proposed minimum wage will cause if approved? 5 Likes |

telleyway: The Organised Labour needs to be very tactical about this, otherwise they lose in the long run as usual. Labour may decide to settle for 120k/150k with conditions attached as follows: If the cost of fuel is not reduced to at most 300 Naira within the next 6 months, an upward review of the minimum wage must be done! & If the exchange rate does not reduce to at most 500 Naira to 1 USD within 6 months, an upward review of the minimum wage must be done! 12 Likes 1 Share |
