Thank you for this.

Please I just completed the appointment booking but did not get a date yet as I got a message on the platform that ' My request to shedule an appointment has been received and will be reviewed ,you will receive an email once your request is Approved " what does this imply, is this how it works and whats the next step please ?

You will most likely get a mail in 24hrs. Then you go back to your profile and pick a convenient available date.

Hey 🤠

1. Since the VISA says you can enter and leave the USA, yes you can do so and as long as you leave the United States before the expiration of the VISA, yes .

2. But by that September that you plan to travel , If your Travel Passport is also going to expire in 3 months time then the answer is NO

3. Because you need to have at at least 6 months time on your Travel Passport before expiration to travel out of your home country or UK .

* By September, your USA visa validity remains 3 months ..Your Travel Passport remains 6 months or more to expire. Yes you are eligible to travel.

* By September, your USA visa validity remains 3 months .... Your Travel Passport remains less than 6 months to expire. No you are not eligible.

Best Wishes 🙏

Thank you very much for your response. My Nigerian passport will expire in 2030 but my US visa will expire in December 2024.

Thank you.
Please I have tried now to use a different email to create a profile for my kids but on filing their detail I got this message " our personal details match the profile which already exists in our database. The User id of that profile is "my own email was quoted here" . If you created this profile in the past, you have the option to TRANSFER your Account to this previous one in order to avoid any inconveniences that may arise from having multiple accounts."

The above I got when I tried creating a separate profile for my child. So what do I need to do to proceed. I had submitted my own request earlier awaiting their confirmation .

Kindly assist me My people .

Hello everyone , I'm a silent reader of this forum and i want to appreciate everyone for the great information's shared on this platform.
I applied on the 23rd of May and i didnt receive any application received confirmation email from the UKVI.
When i tracked in the TLS ..It states that my application has been transferred to the DMC.
I know ideally, it usually takes 15 days for the decision to be made but i am worried and i am currently on the 10th day .

Should i email the UKVI or give them a paid call?

Also i declared a past visa denial from Canada last year and i attached a letter of explanation of why i was rejected and decided not to re apply to Canada. Most people i have seen got thier visas in less than 10 days.. I am just worried. cry cry

This is not the UK thread. Confirm. You might have posted in the wrong thread

You can travel even in wk 2/3 of December. The visa gives you right of entry after CBP processing at any border crossing. I-94 covers how long you stay.

You have to go to your profile and remove your child as a dependent. Or hold on and call the embassy on Monday to do it. Now, don't book an appointment before your sort out your child's own except you live in lagos or Abuja. This is to reduce expenses. Book Your appointment for the same day.

Hey 🤠

1. Yes go as you planned in September and return at appropriate time so that your renewal can be a smooth ride.

2. Yes you can travel even if your visa validity remains 1 day since the expiration of your Nigerian Pasport is in 2030 but why would you want to prove that stunt ? The stunt and over confidence that have cost lot of travellers their entry/visa opportunities.

3. I gave you N1.M free of charge on the 1st of January and you are just coming on the 31st of December to say thank you ? I will suspect you or label you an ingrate.

Okay Thank you on this feedback.
I am in Lagos. Also given the options you provided either to remove my child as a dependent on my profile or call the embassy to it, (please I had clicked ‘Transfer’ confirmed and afterwards was told I have been blocked and could not continue anything.
Now please I want to understand better by profile is it on the appointment booking platform ? And what is the implications of removing them from my profile?
Remember also I mentioned I had submitted my own appointment booking and got a message that the will get back to me if approved.

Is this how it must work to enable us have All our appointments.

Also please what is the implication of this as they are 2 kids actually and both are minors and I had included their details in my DS 160 application.

Please I need your guidance to understand the situation now better and how to resolve to enable all 3 of us get appointments.
Thanks awaiting feedback

From the website I was made to understand that every applicant must fill in their Ds 160 individually. So pls get a form for each child then proceed to call embassy for further assistance.

You have to fill ds160 form for each person. Then proceed to create a profile just like you did for yourself. Create new emails with their names. ( try not to forget their passwords). Use the email to create their profiles. Then follow same procedure as you did for your own. Now, if you are still confused, please call the embassy on Monday for further guidance.

Submitting DS160 won’t affect your date quest.
Fill DS160 and submit (done)
Pay Visa Fees
Go to USTravelDoc and book appointment.
Early date is above my pay grade.

Hello bro.

I just want to say thank you for your support on this group and all other monikers who encouraged me to take this step.
Honorable mention - Pansophist who created the awareness that i cab apply for any visa and do it myself without using any agent.
I was of the opinion that someone can't get a visa especially US or canada without using agents but this thread with the help of other comments gave me the courage to push ahead and i got the visa last friday.
I wanted to test the water and weigh my own value so i took the step and test and Glory be to God, i have been give 5 years visitor's visa.

....................
VO: why do you want to visit US and which city are you going to?
Me: I work on the ship and will be on time off by that time, so want to visit the US for vacation.
VO: Where do you work?
Me: on ship
VO: Have you travelled out of nigeria for the past 5 years?
Me: I don't even work in Nigeria in the first place, i work outside the country 7/8 months out of a year. As a matter of fact, i just came back from Congo Kinshasha last saturday.
VO: How much do you earn per month?
Me: so so so $....
VO: Do you have Seaman discharge book as evidence that you are a sailor? employment contract paper? and attestation from company ?
Me: provided all evidence.
VO: Ohh, very nice. why don't you want to take your family along then? it will be nice if they follow you.
Me: i will but maybe later. They have been with me in Ghana but want to travel now alone.
VO: Welcome to US and enjoy your stay.
Me: Thank you ma.

From my observation, they want to be sure you have good travel history, have a good job and income and be sure you will come back and not disappear.
Close to 100 people ahead of me, only 3 of us where given visa.
At a point i was scared when i saw the denying rate but thank God for everything.

Congrats bro, I am glad you could get the visa, and I am happy the advice I gave work.

The idea that an applicant needs an agency to apply on your behalf is wrong. Agents are very dangerous because you don't know what documents they can slip into your file, or if they can represent you well.

Agents can also be dumb, and many of them are very dumb. I have compiled visa applications for many people, go with them to the embassy, and wait outside for them to go in, and I sometimes talk to some of these agents that brought an applicant.

Asking basic questions, I realized it was a case of a one-eyed man leading the blind. The agents don't know how visa officers make decisions and the legal acts they are operating on.

Also, many of the applicants that were rejected should not be applying for visas in the first place. Visa sometimes can be ''try your luck'', but you will always get it if you are eligible for it.

Enjoy America sha. Avoid akata o, make them no go shoot you lol

Good morning all.
Please I need your help, my J1 visa was denied in May.
I have applied again but unable to get an appointment date.
Anytime I click the option I have been denied in the last 6 months, it shows me no available dates.
I am contemplating using the regular appointment option. Does it matter?
Someone said it doesn't because it's a separate company not the embassy. I am really in a dilemma.
Will it course them to deny me again?

Because my training will start this June and I am already running late.

Please I need help

Please I need urgent suggestions.

Thanks .

Please I want you to know I had already filed individual DS160 for each one of us before this issue came up.
Also sequel to the above message I got while trying to scheudle him I had gone ahead to confirm the transfer and then uploaded his data page as I was requested to do same earlier today . And got a message that “I will be contacted by email once my request is approved and my account is changed” this I got on my Son’s profile.

I called the embassy today and after much difficulty in getting someone to attend )as they kept saying the network was not clear) he requested for my son biodata details and then asked me to log back to his profile and fill in his details in the the Ustravel doc platform to schedule appointment but I tried logging in with his details but was getting error message attached below , even though am sure of the email and password inputted.
I then left it.

Case 2
My daughter I created a profile for her and after filling her details I got a message on the screen again as I did get for my son above saying details match an already existing profile on database that do I want to transfer also. So I just logged out at this point .

I went to sign in to my Own profile which is still awainrg their feedback mail on approval to continue with appointment schedule by the way . I selected the option of UPDATE Profile but it did not provide me with dependent details of any sort that will allow me edit . I didn’t see my kids details on my profile on the USTRAVEL DOC.

So please what do I do now?
For my daughter do I still go ahead and accept a transfer and upload her data page?
Am at a crossroad here and need ASSISTANCE to resolve and be able to complete there scheduling and submit their MRV as well .

Looking forward to hearing from you GURUs in the house . So I can get it done with and be sure .
Thanks in anticipation

Just to be clear.
You should create email addresses for everyone in your group/family.
Use the individual email addresses to create individual profiles for everyone in your group/family on USTravelDocs. (4 members = 4 Profiles)
Your profile will be Primary and others will be dependents when booking dates/appointments.
I think you might have crossed email addresses while creating profiles and its linking the different people to same account which is the error you shared for the dependents.

Also, have you created a USTravelDoc in the past or had someone help out using your details? The screenshot shows "Your personal details match the profile which already exist..."

It is best to call back and sort it all through a support staff to unclog the mix up and profile your profiles properly. Use another phone or go to where you will have better network quality

I had to take the bold step when i realized agents will send me back to my village sooner or later if i continue using them.
Have wasted close to 10m on my 2 brothers between 2018 and this year using 5 different agents.
They always have sweet mouth and always convince me that it will click but at the end of the day, nothing.
If you spend 2m or 5m on a visa and it clicks, it won't pain you provided it clicks but after spending 2/5m yet nothing, you will feel like someone scammed of your hard earned money.
So i realized, it is better i learn this thing by myself whether i get it or not, i would have gotten more experience.
I spent only 200k for this visa i got (visa fee) while many agents told me to bring 1.5m, 2m, 5m for canada family visit visa while it won't take me more than 500k for that and 15m for canada LMIA processing.
At that rate, i will go broke and all these are not even guaranteed.

The message wasn’t properly conveyed as he wanted in my opinion.
At my interview, I heard a lot of applicant just ramble on and on. They were unable to present a coherent reply to questions or have cohesive conversation at their interview. The VOs sometimes even try to walk them through and honestly it was hopeless.
Some was due to fear. Some was due to language barrier. Some was lack of confidence. A lot was due to unpreparedness.
It was better they didn’t even apply because the denial was guaranteed.

Shut up ! After OyotunjiUSA the 2nd person who gave u congrats started by criticising travel agents. And u did not respond to OyotunjiUSA congrats message but u are quick to reply the second person by joining in criticising agents.
Ur putting down of travel agents is too exaggerated. I'm thinkin both of u re travel agents in disguise . Travel agents like u duped my mum 3m.naira but despite that u cannot erase travel agents totally because there re those whu re genuine .

Broda congrats is congrats whu asked u stories about travel agents ? You are a suspect n nobody will contact u. Travel agents re under tourism so u cannot totally erase their existence.
Your type dat re quick to criticise re the agents in disguise waiting for someone 2 ask u plz how did u do it ? No one ask u all dis stories or did the op said he was duped by agents ?

Hey 🤠

@IggyAzalea.

1. You actually raised a vital point and i have changed my first comment to reserved comment until i verify the genuineness of the visa. I will also use this opportunity to notify the public that i will not team up with anybody to bring anyone or any organisation or travel agencies down. I am on my own. I am not attacking any business.

2. I also want to tell the general public that i am distancing myself from any group or person or entity that post fake, counterfeit or unreal information (s) eg fake visa success transcripts on this forum in order to deceive the general public or prospective visa applicants.

Best Wishes 🙏
