Honestly they're both still average based on the country economy. But #500k job anywhere else except Lagos, Abuja, PH, currently is a go👍🏽

If you are single in UK, and dont live in London, you should be fine with 2k a month.

You just need to get a shared accommodation with all inclusive bills for about £500/month or less

2000 pounds a month is very low in the UK currently. But if you are industrious, plan on rasing a family and giving your children fair opportunities, the UK is the better option for now. Nigeria will be "great" but it will still take quite a long while .

500k Naira for month for Naija? Ahan! Big man life be that, but wahala dey for inflation and security. £2000 for obodo oyinbo good, but tax and cost of living go chop am. If na me, 500k for Naija sure pass if I fit handle the kasala. If not, UK for steady life, even if money no too plenty.

This is a dumb comparison, compare jobs with similar pay.
For example a caregiver can make at least £3k per month in the UK, in Nigeria max would be #100k.

Corrected 3k

There's no comparison between both, let no one confuse you. £2k in UK is far better like from Damaturu to Owerri to compare with N500k in 9ja.

What's N500k... that I strive to sustain with in a month with my little family and nothing left for savings.

No just waste time, grab the £2k offer like your life depends on it.

500k In Nigeria is far more better than 2k Pounds in UK... Except you are living on the street without paying rents and bills earning 2k pounds is okay grin cheesy.

You will earn 2k pounds and spend 1.7k pounds on bills.

According to you:

Earnings - 2k
Expenses - 1.7k

Difference (Savings) - 300£ (570,000 Naira with today's exchange rate).

This is with health insurance, access to more opportunities to progress, security and free education up till secondary school level .

Na so una de talk rubbish wey una nor know.

Do you know £4k/month after tax is roughly £70k/annum b4 tax?

Even if u pack all the extra shifts and almost kill urslef, max na 3k/month after tax

The more u work, the more Tax takes.

Okay well let me drop my 1pound advice.

If you live in Nigeria and you get a job opportunity in the UK for less than 3900 per month then sit your ass down in 9ja and endure the stress a little more. Anything less that 3500 pounds per month is not worth risking it.

After bills payments every month you don't have anything to write about savings it's just like working a circle with no progress report. Something goes for isa and Canada too if you say otherwise no problem. Happy traveling just sell all your properties carry like 15k pounds extra for bills or you done for.
Even the UK citizens living there won't take the job not because they don't want to its because it's not worth it.

The average salary in the UK is £2500 so how easy is it for an immigrant to get a £3500+ salary?

The fact that you can hardly see a driveway or private garage that can contain 5 or more private vehicles makes me uncomfortable. Small overpopulated United Kingdom.

Na for Ogbomoso you want to spend the savings, or is it not to spend in the same UK where your £300 monthly saving is all you have when the need for it arises, like being inbetween jobs and already knowing your monthly expenses would be circa £1700?

What terrible folly to acknowledge your expenditure within the foreign country economy, only to acknowledge your savings as if it is meant for Nigerian economy.

Or is it not the same Nigeria you already sold the properties your previously acquired, plus the one you even inherited.

Akotileta!
