Mother's instinct is a solid 8/10 for me.

This is one hell of a phycological drama, it got me feeling indifferent at the end and the only thing on my mind was "what tha fork"!!
But then again i appreciate the fact that movies like this tends to open up on the kind of world we live in, this is a movie that shows you what humans are capable of and what's going on in the world we live in.

Realistic story lines like this are my favourite, you know we live in a world where many people hype unrealistic movies, like movies on super heroes, dragons, movies with incredible Fx, movies where John wick will kill 500 people and still be alive, movies where someone can jump off a plane and still be alive. Lol
While those movies are entertaining, they ain't not real dramas.
Movies like mother's instinct, hit man and Co are what we call real movies in their purest form but sadly, movies like these don't get the hype they deserves.
People will rather hype unrealistic events than reality and face reality.

This is why all these British, Spanish, American dramas in a small town are my favourites, they tend to bring reality to you.

Well let's get back to the movie, "mother's instinct"
All i have to say is that as human, just put GOD first in all you DO, because no matter how careful we are, only GOD can truly protect us.

So it seems the theme of movies this time around is doing evil, getting away with it and living happily ever after. From Mother's Instinct to The Hitman.

Hitman was alright, echoing an earlier statement in the movie " if you pretend to be something, you might actually end up being that thing".

Bruhhh...That grain bit of the plot might be the worst writing in a flick in the recent while in hindsight because it made absolutely no sense in the end. The Imperium with all it's tech couldn't grow grain, and had to descend with all it's might on a tiny Village for the grain, then change course to chase some rebels, and level the village, in other to get rid of the rebels, and along with the "said grain" that they couldn't do without before..... ChatGPT would've cooked a better storyline ngl...

Seems I kinda have a way of ignoring NEON's trailers. Just remembered I've downloaded trailer for CUCKOO for months now, I never still watch am.

Will check both out later sha. But that studio do have some serious cooking. Takes the same weed A24 smokes. grin

if you want premium tier storytelling with extremely weird and quirky tales, and you're avoiding A24, NEON is the place to go.

Exactly. I also wondered about the food issue. It didn't make sense but I just shrugged my brain and continued watching.

Baki Hanma vs Kengan Ashura.....6.5/10

Nice battle anime, good fights. Basic story. Guess I didn't enjoyed this one as much as I would cos I painfully downloaded the English dub.

Watching something not in an original language makes the experience weird for me.

Although, it's piqued my interest of watching either of the anime shows. I've always wanted to watch them but didn't know which one to choose.
In my head, it was Kengan Ashura I'd go for cos it seems less crazy and ridiculous as Baki.
I'm more interested in seeing this Baki and his dad story tho. Especially that shït he killed Baki's mom that time.
